Those who attend the Hamidon Raids on Virtue know about me and the special place I hold in my heart for dear ole Hamidon.
So me and the Hamiettes were talking last night and an idea popped into my head!
For the Holiday Season, it would be hilarious if Hamidon spawned as a giant Christmas tree.
Granted, this idea is completely far fetched and is purely cosmetic... but come on!
The Holiday Hamidon Tree could become a yearly event!
Anyway, I asked to put this on the boards and there ya have it. -

I suppose you could also get on a taunt team if you had your Dwarf form slotted. Though, usually there's plenty of tanks/brutes/scrappers to handle that stuff. -

Anyways, blue Side CoP was challenging a bit, we had to fall back, restructure, then we completed,
Red Side CoP was easier, but odd, the AV started to run toward the waall O.o
Anyways faced purpel AV each time, they went down
Then MS raid, i never saw pylons go down that fast
3 grades in 3min, we hate candies and rushed the boil... UKON died fast.. taht with 4 teams full, ++
Either way, I had fun at the Hami raids.
I'm glad the rest of the night went well!
You should make this a monthly event.

Red side Hami - messy, but successful! (like most red raids :P)

Hami's been eating a lot of Nachos lately so they're a bit on the crunchy side.
It might be time to switch him back to Klondike bars. -

Didn't this have something to do with people running Firefox in combination with Add-Ons like Adblock, Greasemonkey and No-Script?
I run Firefox with AdBlockPlus and don't have any problems.
And if I did have problems, it really wouldn't be the web-designers' fault. They can't take into account every add-on that people use.
However, if this is happening using IE/Firefox/Chrome/etc without any plugins/addons, then yes, I would definitely say that's a developmental issue. -

Blue side - Monday, Wednesday 7:00 pm EST (ish?), Saturday 5:00 pm (ish)
Red side - Tuesday (8:00 pm EST (ish - if there's enough interest), Sunday 6:00 pm EST (ish)
Usually a good idea to get there approx. 30min - 1hr early.
Also, Blue side tends to do two - three raids back to back, depending on interest.

I was lucky enough to get a Jingle Jet a couple of weeks back (expiring tomorrow, I think) from a person who had a gift leftover.
It is by far one of the coolest "temp" powers. (Dimensional Grounding Ray comes in as a close second for me)
I have a funny feeling we'll be getting some type of Holiday Tip Mission either in lieu of the old Baby New Year mission or in addition to it.
I would LOL so much if one of the options at the end was to punt BNY into space. *hint hint*
What I'd like to see:
The Ski Lodge Open Year Round (Yes, this has nothing to do with the event per se, but still).
I mean, we can turn in costume salvage all year so why not have the ability to turn in Candy Canes as well?
I would even be okay with a 10 Candy Cane fee to get inside.
But back to the event at hand, an idea I just had - epic snowball battle!
You already have the Troll Raves in Skyway. Something similar could be done. A large amount of NPCs show up and battle against each other in a snowball war!
Or how about an area all powers are inactive except for Snowballs and you fight against NPCs using only that power. A new version with damage would be needed but still...
Ah well, can't wait to see what the devs have up their sleeves this year. I just hope it's more than a tip mission. -

Last night I was playing on my 35ish Brute, SKed to a 50, in PI and did not get a SINGLE costume drop.
Now, I did get the badges for Clothes Horse, etc but never ever got a costume temp power.
The Brute was created in Praetoria so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.
Play time was approx 3 hours.
I'm going to try solo in a level appropriate zone later tonight. -

I've seen it happen at the Hami raids a few times. On the safe rock at least.
Happened to me once during a Rikti invasion in AP. I couldn't stop laughing.
