Yes. Breakfrees are pretty much only thing you can do when you get tped and stunned with a blaster... Even then it can be pretty hard to get out of the box (Hello Sway) before the AS gets you So no. I dont consider using bfs as cheating. More like valid counter tactics.

I feel such a cheater...

One good thing about Defiance is that you can give those annoying stalkers something to think about IF they don't manage to one shot you. Quick combo with secondary melee can be quite devastating if you have your Defiance up.

But the PvP zones are bigger and offer the potential of a wider battle including the ability to run and hide if need be, so is it SO surprising for people to want to fight specific people in one the zones?

And if the PvP zones WERE no holds barred, anything goes areas there'd be no such word as "griefing".

Bah! People are just lazy. Arena is too far away. Then you have to go trough all that trouble setting the arena even etc. oh and ofcourse you can't get away as easily when you start losing.

Conclusion. Laziness + greater risk of death = pvp zone 1vs1 forum threads.

Good point there. Thats one reason I think we'll never get any rules. Theres just too many variables. You can't do this... unless variable x equals y and so on. We all know when WE are griefing but we all have slightly different idea what actually IS griefing.

I can't see myself ever accepting any player imposed rules. As long as there are no rules set by red names everything goes. I will interrupt any fights I see if I feel like it. Want to duel? Go to the arena. I try to avoid doing "unsporting" things, but then again I will avoid dying even more. So if im losing I might lure you into mobs just to even up odds and I dont consider it "griefing". You play the game as you want and I'll do the same. It always comes to your ethics and morale against mine and theres no way telling which one of us is more right untill devs decide to set it straight.

One more thing about this TPing or pushing into mobs. Its not nececcarily done in purpose. Theres been many times when I'v been trying to catch a fleeing enemy and simultaneusly trying to use TP foe. I don't always have time to check out that there are no NPCs around when I stop and use TPfoe. Yet I get accused of griefing coz they happened to end up near NPCs.

Same thing with telekinesis. I use it as a hold sometimes. Pick a target and push him a away while spamming holds on someone else. I cant be sure where that TKed villain ends up. In a mob? Tough luck but I certainly didn't do it on purpose. Should I just stop using my powers then just because I might be accused of griefing? Nope.

I don't really care if I get insulting tells or shouts on broadcast. So what? What do they know? and usually its quite amusing to see them using offencive and abusive language Why would I take it to myself if someone calls my mother a [censored] or that I have a small [censored]? Unless you'v actually slept with my mother and paid for it, or seen my little man it's all just big joke to me Its only a game!

TPing in to mobs? Go ahead I dont mind. I don't do it on purpose, but if you get kicks out of it go ahead.. I can take it Its PvP and as long as its not actively monitored things like that is bound to happen. Enter PvP zone at your own risk.

I'm sorry, but you have two level 50s and several higher level toons, and STILL you CLICK your power-tray? hmmm.
I almost got annoyed when my newbie friend was doing this. Each power slot in the tray has the corresponding key number written on it. how hard can it be?
Maybe the click-on-power works if your character is a Charles Xavier ripoff but without the powers, but for any Hero/Villain with a tad of self dignity, it's just s l o w.

Sorry for being a bit aggressive here, but lvling a couple 50's should teach you a good way to play, but obviously not. Makes you wonder really, what's the world coming to?

I would probably play PvP a bit more if there were a proper ranking system. So what if regular PvPers get higher ranking? Why not recognize the time and effort they put in PvP.

Simple quoestion. Does "Power Push" from nrg primary work through Acrobatics? Never had it before and I was planning to get it when ever we get next free respec.

hehe yeah. Got those accolades for 7 of my toons now. I think I have worked enough. Makes me wish badges would be "permanent" and that I wouldnt have to collect those annoying badges over and over and over again. Say what you will you little purists but I say it's bloody boring!

Sigh... I guess I'll have to do it myself then... again! Having lots of toons and getting those accolades for everyone can be a pain I tell you!

Nothing to do with PLing. Just getting the accolades. Lower lvl toons hardly get any XP this way. Just the necssary kills for those 2 accolades.

Yea SKing works some of the time, but speacially in Peregrine when killing fakies, sidekicks can even slow down the killing. I'v done this once before and it worked out just fine.

You may or may not disagree if its the "proper" way to get those accolades, but i just think it would be nice to have em both with my lvl 25 scrappie. Every bit of end and HP helps

Do you have a hero lvl 50 and 23 or over and would like to get those pesky accolades (Atlas Medallion and Freedom Phalanx Reserve Member) early on.

Basic idea is to put those 50s to kill necessary mobs while lowbies wait it out. Example. 4 higher lvl toons kill mobs 4 lower lvl toons wait it out and after that switch turns. Full team is not required but it will make things faster.

Hunting would happen in Striga Island(doggies and vampies), Perez Park(Clockwork Underlings), Terra Volta(freaky tankies) and finally Peregrine Island(fakies).

Estimated time for a good team is around 3 hours.

I would like to do this tomorrow 10.1 around 18:00 GMT... or thursday at the same time.

There are no special requirements except for being a nice person and we HOPE that you would be online regularry and not once a week.

Also good sense of humour is plus as the inmates here tend to get a bit restess at evenings. We also HOPE that you use TeamSpeak and are not afraid to open your mouth. Of course you are also free just to listen in.

Fact is that its so much easier to get to know people when you can talk to them. Most of us use TS regularry. Don't be afraid if you are not native english speaker (i'm not). We all like to hear funny accents.

In CoV we have functional and raidable base and in CoH... uhmm well... ermm.. rooms full of different things and nice throne room where you can bow before your master (aka me) What I'm saying is, we are working on it...

We are not reqruiting people just to have people but to have good people who will make our little community a better place for all of us. After all it's all about having fun

I gave him a chance.. more than one actually. Tried to be nice and stuff.... but the thing is that as soon as he finds out that hes not constantly verbally battered he think it's hes chance to start doing that. Acting arrogant, bossy, mean and just plain stupid. Its the whining "why me" and then acting like an [censored] himself that pisses me off.

Hes 15 or something right? Thats no excuse of being an total idiot. I know younger people who are polite and reasonably tolerable (hey Aubie). Aubiergine man will probably end up being prime minister (know it all little [censored] as he is) or something while Lui will end up to be something i like to beat up in pubs.

He keeps asking why everyone is on hes case... get a mirror and take a long look at it. The reason should eventually bloom even to him... or maybe not.
