Alright well after seeing what everyone has to say, I'm going to go all human. Honestly, I believe that build will fit me more based on my play style. Thanks everyone for your help.

Wow.. Thanks for all that great info. When I was initially looking at the build I was thinking human only was a better way to go. Now I will have to go back and see.. luckily I have a lot of respecs Im not extremely rich, but I got a couple hundred mill. So I should be able to work something out lol

I just dusted off my PB and he is now 37 and Im starting to think about his direction. At this point he is Human/Dwarf and fit for PVE... but I'm trying new things... so I am looking into making him more for PVP. My issue is that I have never really looked into PVP before so I'm not sure the best way to build for it and what set would be best suited.

Any advice would be great.

I think its time for me to finally seriously look at Blaster. I looked at various sets and I love Fire's damage output. I have seen mental in action and it looked pretty cool, but I don't know how the two fair together. Are they any good, what are some pros/cons?

You can tank with a Brute.. Some sets are just better than others to do so. Basic slotting I use is 1-2 acc 2 end redx in every attack. Then at about lvl 40ish I slot 2 acc 1 end or rec and 2-3 dam. With my EM/ELA I kept barrage until after Total Focus, then I respec'd and my attacks are Energy Punch, Bone Smasher Build Up, Total Focus and Energy Transfer.

In terms of play style. I play my brute however I see fit during the team. If the team needs a tank, I can been that and take alphas just fine. If the team as a tank, I will just beat the crap out of anything in my way. But don't let anyone try to tell you that you have to play YOUR brute any particular way.

For feeling "Brutish" as you put it SS, is my fav primary. But Stone Melee was pretty cool also. A bit end heavy but with WP as my secondary it was okay after SOs. Nothing like seeing crumbles of rock all over the ground after pounding someone with them is always great to watch.

Based on what you guys are saying, it looks like I might be taking CI too late in my build. I guess I could swap it and stam. But I don't know...

The title speaks for itself. I'm trying to build for ELM/WP to duo with my fiance's BA/WP. I have never used or seen it being used and just trying to understand how beneficial it is. Can it be skipped? If I do skip it, I figured I would go with the Mu patron and get Electric Fences instead. Any suggestions?

A Dark/Ice Def tank build is what I had been looking for. Its been like 4 months since I played and I wanted to jump on my lvl 2 Def. I figured that's a good enough work out for me lol. What I am more familiar wit Dark.. but not so much on Ice. Build advice would be great.

We didn't have any problems with the nictus. Actually since they didn't really move much, everyone targeted the nictus we were attacking through the main brute. They didn't really run or anything like that and really Rom didn't do much to us either. He just stood there or at least thats what I saw.

Did run last night. Read the guide and it worked great. But I believe instead of the damage dealer first, we hit the healer first just based on where it was located, then the spawner and damage dealer last. Only the first Nictus we defeated stunned us. The others just blew up. Also once we started pounding on Romulus the traitors didn't come until he was defeated and the mission was over lol. We just finished them off for fun. 4 Brutes( 3 WP and 1 ELA) 1 thermal corr 1 kin corr and 1 MM. All in all, this TF is great!

Since you didn't take cj, how are you defensive wise when you need to heal your ninjas, or just in general. I like the way you build is looking and my respec mine similar.
