How Good is Chain INduction?

The title speaks for itself. I'm trying to build for ELM/WP to duo with my fiance's BA/WP. I have never used or seen it being used and just trying to understand how beneficial it is. Can it be skipped? If I do skip it, I figured I would go with the Mu patron and get Electric Fences instead. Any suggestions?

Thanks

I like it, since they fixed the bug.. I have an AOE focused elec/elec brute, and i cycle it in with my lower punches to build fury and keep fury going, its like the second teir punch but you get some bonus damage off of it. it cycles as fast as the second punch, it doesn't feel like such a slow up to your attack chain as jacob's ladder does.

Don't skip it, it's great now. Since you're ELM be sure to pick a ST patron attack such as gloom becuse ELM has poor ST damage.

Try switching hasten and chain induction. It's a great power, but the power that gets the most benefit from it is Lightning Rod, and you don't have that one yet.

If you have the vet powers (which it appears that you do from your registration date), you will have more than enough attacks.

There are two things worth testing now in issue 15 to find out if these two bugs are still true with elec:

-Procs in Chain Induction breaking the chain
-Procs in Lightning Rod hitting you (as the patch notes said armageddon in burn now works properly, so it goes to reason this might possibly now work?)

Okay thanks a lot. That's really helpful.

Proc's still mess up the chain. If they could somehow make it not inherit all of the buffs of the attack when used, it would be super. Or just an exclusion for proc abilities being inherited. Hmm, that'd prolly be really hard to code though and general drop of inherited buffs would gimp it beyond belief.

Short answer: Don't proc it.
