    Even on a 8 foot map those caves suck but I think
    A friend said it was ilone of those places he
    Summoned a pcu and it got around but clipped. Not sure I would
    Want to be that clipped on a toon but just saying if was
    Impossible to go through that shouldn't work

    I know it would take alot. What they said back then
    Just fishing to see if changes since have made it possible

    I think it would go great along with titanic weapons
  3. I and others have asked about a growth or growth/ shrinking
    Set. In the past. Years ago both castle and bab said not possible
    Just checking to see if still the case. Been alot of changes
    In the past years.

    I especially ask since they used to say we were limited
    Due to size of models. And another reason was oh it would
    Take up too much space and bother others.

    I got the idea to ask again since I fought a bunch of pcu
    The other day what are they 15 feet then a friend summoned one
    With a power and had it tagging along with us on mish

    This idea still dead or possible as a power set?

  5. I have posted and hoped for this for years.
    Got a pm from castle on the matter and how it wasn't happening
    That lead to my defect to CO for a year back now
    That game has other problems
    I understand limitations especially note in caves the cot ones
    Hate them anyway. I got a bunch of 8 foot bruisers

    Being able to double size would be awesome I keep hoping
    I would like to see it as a powerset for tanks and brutes

    I know they say no One question then

    If we cant have it how come you have to tease me with in game
    Mythology atlas statue right there. Read the plaques about his exploits

    Are there any other people talked about with powers we can't have?

    Picked up energy drain last night awesome power some info and discuss if want
    .34 def per target total ten 7 something for first guy
    I got it with first
    Slotting to .5 all 1 for first more slotting to. Come
    Not exactly going to soft cap you on it's own like tank version
    For compare tank is 1.6 base per

    Effect lasts 45 second though with those first slots I was at 48 seconds and
    That was before enthropic boost.
    U was double stacking on some overlap

    One person mentioned see what I see if you turn off
    Stealth so it's not a factor and just look at
    Entwining aura near no enemies
    I have a 5 and 3.5 bonus to recharge near
    Absolutely no one. But some of you don't?

    My playstyle isn't exactly stealth more the a bull in a china shop

    I have been looking for a discussion of this I am playing a kinetic energy brute
    So far going great to 25. The entropic aura change is
    Really a nice change makes the set really zing
    Like a mini hasten most times.
    One odd thing description days buff for enemys near by
    But registers 8.5 when alone combat info shows a buff of 5 and 3.5
    Then goes up in groups. I imagine it was added to give a bit of increase for running it
    But if you turn on emery cloak it goes away only to come back when you attack?

    Anyone else seeing this ?

  10. Ok beating a dead horse here.. Its bad enough they have Atlas's big statue rubbing growth in your face the minute you log in with a toon.. but I was just in KR and their is a plague talking about his exploits.. They don't make growth, or make it possible.. but its a big part of the lore of the game they make.. Nice.
  11. Well good to know. Thanks for the Castle quote, makes it not worth hoping for. Would be nice if they at least increased the max height then... but still... Oh well, don't know if I will head to champions eventually or not.. I definitely need some new powersets to play with.
  12. Yeah I know most people make the small tiny toons.. I am a exception.. most of mine are 6- 6'5", but I am tall in RL. I have a toon that is 8 foot using science to bounce up to it.. but doesn't do it justice. I have had a few brutes that were above 7 foot...

    In the small caves you can feel like your being caught on stuff, but I don't mind.. I tried one really tiny toon.. didn't like it.
  13. I know 30-40 foot toons would be unsuable, but their are alot of NPC enemies that look fine at more than 8 foot. I know that in some maps it might not look the best but I can deal with that. If its deemed impossible for them to try this on here. Then at least up the max height a bit like to 10-14 feet.. as was said, with the science kit you can size change.. which is nice, but if you take your average guy from 6 foot to 8 foot.. to show he grew.. wow.. yeah that really inspired fear right there..

    I haven't played champions but you can google a couple of videos of the enrage growth.. and see some ugly kangaroo toon growing and beating on stuff.. its just crazy looking.. I don't know how it really works in play since I don't have champions.. Looks cool though. I am sure there is some punching over the heads of stuff.. but that happens when your 8 feet tall on this game some..

    Champions has most of its stuff happen outside so that may be why they can get away with it.

    I know a big toon might not work on here, as i said. If you say nope not going to work. Give me a 10-14 foot max ceiling and i will go with invul and deal.

    If not.. man champions with growth and throwing cars sure looks cool. Just hate to change games after 3 years.
  14. I have been looking at some champions stuff.. I don't want to change games, and I hear there are somethings better on this game or that game, but one thing that really makes me envious is the buff that makes your toon grow. I have wanted growth for a long time, I know it was on the powers survey, but didn't win.
    Champions did it with it being a cosmetic effect on a power like the brute inherient...

    I would like to see a powerset for tankers and brutes..
    I think it would be a resist only, Resist sets have to have heals.. elec has taught us that, have it have a minus to defense built in like the old unyeilding.. everyone threw a fit about the -def in that power but that set was a combo set, using def and resist... If the set was all resist you end up with another problem, stacked effects, but the powerset will just need some good mez protection.

    I was thinking something along the lines of each toggle adds more to your height so they sort of stack height..

    I had an idea what about a + resist for each enemy close by, like the taunt aura from invul but resist boost like eclipse.. could make the resists really high, which would be needed if your as easy to hit as a side of a barn...

    tier 9 power is easy.. ATLAS mode.. major height boost.. maybe make it a toggle like granite.. if they didn't want it to be on all the time what about making it not usuable on some maps.. the cave is too low to use that power... just another reason for me to hate caves.

    I haven't fleshed it out..
    I read something about castle working on really big targeting something? Here's hoping they are working on something for us.
  15. How far did growth make it in the development look? Is it still a considered set? I know we got Willpower and shields from that list. I have made my elec/elec 8 feet tall just so I can try to get the growth feel..
  16. I like it, since they fixed the bug.. I have an AOE focused elec/elec brute, and i cycle it in with my lower punches to build fury and keep fury going, its like the second teir punch but you get some bonus damage off of it. it cycles as fast as the second punch, it doesn't feel like such a slow up to your attack chain as jacob's ladder does.

    I have noticed when i send my pets out to attack groups that are farther than I would expect to grab aggro from and have them attack I keep getting one attacker running a long distance just to come over and smack me in the mouth. I haven't used any personnel attacks, and here comes a cog or such, trotting from a distance over to attack me. Is this an aggro adjustment to keep masterminds from sitting off in safety? I am 18 and at 20 am getting hurricane so if they keep running up they are going to get a welcome soon, but its just funny that they dont stay on the guys attacking.

    Also I noticed that the Def from manuevers from the enforcers doesn't effect me? going to re look at the guide on this, but thought that was odd that it effects everyone else.
  19. I say sheilds/war mace definitely is better than noted here, I have alot of tankers and this one is by far my most damaging one. From the heavy aoe damage of war mace and the buff from sheilds.. the end early is partly toggles but also war mace is a bit of a drainer if your going all out.. as to the tuogh weave... I have cheap and moderate IO in mine and sit around 44% def with combat jumpign added to it.. no weave or tough... and I hardly ever get in trouble.. in fact was just in a mass of mobs around 50 i would guess on an AE mish, team wiped around the room I lived on till i took them all out.
