A bit late in replying, but your best bit for getting a tf is if you join defiant events channel, just give a shout out thatyou wanna do a tf and ones not normally far away.

I used to enjoy looking at the old Caption Comp Thread run by Silver Weasel used to crack me up everytime.

Now I suppose i'll have to wait 4 years and remember the threads about the uni-fiant merge.

cheers for organising event was much fun, also as a added extra in the total chaos had a few recipe drops i hadn't noticed till after the event & 2 happened to be purples

Private SG/Clique regard them as the same thing when you have a medium size player base, quite a few people i know got sick of it on Villians and opted back to heroes, not really that bothered myself as tended to solo alot but you can't expect people to stand about at high lvl watching the world go by.

I know this sort of thing happens in mmo's but when a corner of the player base tends to stick to themselves there is only one way thats gonna lead.

Heroes seems different, not sure if it's a larger player base, or the amount of people that don't mind pugs or the fact there is much more content so teams get varied for all the different things you can do, but it just seems a more open player base.

So now all my villians are any use for are to do co-op tf's that way i can get team without spending hours trying.

Don't know from other players prospective, but on my part, I noticed a significent clique taking place on villians and unless you was part of that you would find it hard to get a high lvl team or on to a high lvl TF, thus my retort was to revert back to heroes where PuGS are easier to come by and more of an open player base when it comes to TF's and I only return to Villians when promised a spot on a TF.

Xem I team with you quite alot on TF's, and am very regular on-line, just send me a tell or global via events channel and i'll be glad to lend a hand in RV, I am not opposed to hero bashing, espically griefers that think they own the zone, and will be quite happy to stay the whole night untill said griefer cries.

Forgive my stupidity but how does the skype thing work, currently have phone and program running, just need to know how it works with the game.

Just out of interest you are planning to do the whole sf that night, it's just that i have had bad experiences in the past when trying to finish a SF on seperate days.

if thats you in the supes cos in your avatar that's pretty damn cool , coz the supes costumes in my area suck big time, they look a bit out of date and remind of the batman pants i had when i was 5

Thought of being a jedi, but have an idea that i wouldn't be the only one with the same idea, although i want a popular based character i don't really want to turn up to the party and see about 5 blokes in the same costume (especially if there costumes were better than mine , I'd feel like a right noob).

Your party shop idea, was also my first idea but looking around in the shop i found the costumes to look very cheap, tacky and very cheesey, and the good ones only come in one size x-large which makes em look terrible on me.

What i'm really looking for is to look the part and also look good at the same time, thats why i'm liking your Indy suggestion.

Hi guys on October 7th I have been invited to a birthday party, and guess what the theme is, Heroes and Villians.
Now i am posting here because i am struggling with limited brain power i have, to come up with a suitable costume and character to go as please can you help me.
My criteria is as followed:-

I am 31 year old (but look young for my age )
I am Male (so no Barberella's, Elvira's or Vamperella's pls).
I have limited creative skills (so please keep props or anything latex based to a minimum).
Total funds i wish to invest would be around £50 (as will most prob be the only time i will wear this).
I am 5' 11 in height and weigh around 11 stone (honestly ).
Please use quite popular based character's as would like to turn up with people knowing who i am suppose to be.

So guys please please please help me on this matter coz all i have at the moment is sticking loads of bandages round my head and going as the invisible man.

Please do not post just names of characters who i should go as, i need ideas on how to throw costume and props into it as well.

Get a stalker to jump into the pillboxe and fire turrets that is also useful.
