Excellent news!! The doctors believe that the glow showing in the MIBG is scar tissue. The MRI shows no growth!!

Thank you again everyone, for all the prayers and positive thoughts.

The doctors found a "subtle spot" during Anna's MIBG last week. They don't think it's anything, but recommend an MRI to be sure. MRI is scheduled for Monday at 12:30. Again asking for prayers and positive thoughts that the docs are just being overly cautious and there is nothing there.....thank you all so much in advance.

Just so everyone knows the difference between the tests: an MRI finds evidence of tumor mass, an MIBG finds chemical traces of active neuroblastoma.

Sooooo.....does this mean my unicorn meat isn't coming?

I was saddened to hear this today. He was definitely one of my all time favorites. His music was a very big thing to a certain long-haired, leather jacket wearing kid in the early 80s.
