  1. Since last patch, everytime I bring out the veteran power nemesis staff when I'm not in range of the target or if it's not recharged, my poor guy/gal will freeze completely for 2-3 seconds.

    That's enough to get killed in many situations.

    Now, for many alts, this has become a vital part of my damage doing... (playing healers and buffers do that you know)

    ...so a fix would indeed be appreciated!
  2. Well, I've lead more than 20 mothership raids and have more vanguard merits than I could possibly use even after getting everything there is to get, but the vanguard heavy is kinda fun, the extra storage thingy you can get is a must-have etc.

    I'd really like to see "real" raids where we don't have to create our own channels for team blue, red, yellow etc and use request for coordination. But CoP obviously prooooves it won't happen!
  3. I do miss actual raids and a raid system in the game.

    Old hami was silly in most ways, almost boring once the community had him figured out - again and again - but it was a great community event and the rikti ship raids just isn't the same.
  4. I'm going back to the original post and saying:
    1. I agree with London, don't mess up peoples builds unneccessary. One reason people continue to play, is to build upon those sets, get their alt's purp'd up. Mess with that and they will indeed leave.
    2. but then again, having a single brute on SOs soloing a relentless mission spawned for 4 people is just silly.
    3. lately it's gotten even easier. I rarely spot any bosses anymore even on 8 man relentless teams. Now what's up with that?
    4. Just get more content in. New special maps, maybe even a new villain-only zone, deffo more high level content esp villain-side and some new foes with a completely different AI if possible, a few more villain-side monsters etc.

    I honestly don't think it's the "easy" part that's making ppl bored, it's the "we've figured it ALL out, except hami that's just silly" part.

    Come to think of it, maybe it IS time for us to give Hami another go.
  5. Well, after ploughing through te thread I fully expected to see anything that make the game harder.
    ...I didn't..

    More time consuming, more boring, pointless etc... but not harder.

    I still concider it silly that a single brute with regular SOs can clear a four man-spawned relentless mission.

    To be honest I don't mind lvl 50 missions 8 man team play being rediculously easy at all, but a few SG mates popped back in to the game recently and we did RSF in about 1h 30 minutes and they left the game again in disgust because even after a few months it was a sad routine with no thinking required and hardly any skill. That was with bugged hostage, no tp etc.

    Personally I still think it wasn't the "no challenge" part that drove them all off, more the OMG-nothing-new part. No mission creator will fix that sadly, because the maps will be the same old, same old and every single foe except the bosses we can "create" will act just the way they've always acted.

    The main problem is, we hate the lack of news, but when something changes we hate that too. pvp, baddies following through elevators, other powerchanges and baddie changes (flame thrower FTW!!!). We love and hate the familiarity.

    So, they could put in a new diff mode with 16 bosses in every mob, or even EBs. It would still be the same old, we'd still know what to do and inf/xp would be game-breaking rediculous.

  6. Hmm, the top right corner of St Martial? Need to be high level and preferably a few team mates to make them spawn, like all outdoor bosses.

    Get an 8 man team and start "defeating" and you should soon be sorted.

    Personally I enjoy this quite a lot, and won't mind playing this one for quite some time after I hit 50. I still haven't done much high level hero content, so I'd probably enjoy it now that I have a regular, good team to do it with.

  9. I've been playing a lot in teams of 4-8 men lately, and the bosses seemed to almost disappear in the last patch.

    Six man team, inv/relentless, not a single boss in most missions (apart from mission/named boss), used to be one in every mob.

    Am I just being greedy, or is there a sad change in mob spawns?

  11. Think I went energy last time to get the end boosts, but not very familiar with hero side epic pools.

    Bad news tho': I'm not gonna make it on monday. I'll be here this evening, but got a rather important meeting monday evening that's likely to last longer than my sanity.

  14. Don't know if you ppl continued (hope so) and what you decided, but I'm deffo up for sunday. Sorry I had to leave early, but SG's been a bit slow lately, so there was no way I'd miss an old-style LRSF.

    Was very interesting to see the HUGE jump in xp when we went back to higher lvl missions once everyone was back on track. See you all soon! Keep smurfin'!
  15. Ayeh! It's amazing, fun, addictive and wet-yourself-laughing-out-loud with the imps. I do love the last croatoa mission, just standing there with the sound of waves hitting the shores, er..well... imps burning baddies then, same sound!

    We'll give it a try this evening again (tuesday) and friday, same 6 pm time as usual. For those that can't/wno't show: Monday regular 6 pm run of course, noone is left behind!

  18. hmm, wonder if the merits double as well, would focus on redside SFs and ITF if that turns out to work.

    ...that is, if the fire/rad troller team I've put together isn't playing but they might reach 50 before the weekend!

    Also I've never heard of any real villains disrupting sig hunts unless one of the heroes behave badly first.

    Doing it on DXP might actuallt bring more people to the zone since it used to be a good XP/inf grind lvl 40-50. The new rules might not be well known enough for people to stay away during DXP.

    Personally I'm hoping on insane fire/rad team levelling during the event, so I'm out!
  20. Logged on yesterday, noticed I'm almost 31, did cossie and aura. Guessing we should save the cimerora unlocking for sunday to get everyone to 30! :-)

  21. I recently started a new fire/rad troller team and we all XP pacted. As it goes I think it's good for two reasons:

    1. We can keep playing madly and noone falls behind. Sure, we could SK the poor guy or let him/her PL for a while, but the team would suffer.
    2. It keeps people in the team and playing. Sure We seem to have formed a really good team, but it feels like everyone is taking responsibility for the whole team, not just ones own XP, it keeps us playing with us even if the second build allows us to go on wild solo streaks or spend the time in-between in other teams.

    The XP lag is rather annoying, I keep ding'in when leaving missions which is sort of a waste of good insps and no way of level-up-rezzing. Also, it's a potential Goldmine for levelling services.

    I've tried two dom's pacted with two MMs on my accounts, playing the MMs together getting (almost) all the story arcs due to slower levelling. I guess you could maximize "profit" by using as much patrol xp as possible, but the most scary part is using two great builds to level up two fun-at-fifty alts. My MMs are not optimized to benefit from each other though, so I don't feel like I'm cheating.

    I've seen more Grandville/RWZ/Ouro PLing lately and I'm rather sure it's people PLing one account with another account pacted. With two accounts you can use the main account über alt to pl the second account new alt that is pacted with the main account new alt etc.

    So what's my point: I like it as a team support feature, but it's not really necessary, not that useful and exploitable, but...

    ...what's the point in getting another bunch of 50s you haven't played that has no inf, no enhs, nothing when your character slots are already filled and you're forced to buy new or delete old nostalgic "haven't been played for 2 years" alts? I hope it was easily programmed (and they EXTREME xp lag is fixed soon without taking energy and focus from other development)
  22. Well, short, sweet Hess TF run on inv. today! Fire imps next run it seems! Outlevelled it on first run and LMAO! Good job everyone! This is more fun than I remembered it to be...

    Next run 6 pm on sunday seems to work for everyone. Get everyone to 30, then hit Croatoa I guess. Those red caps won't know what hit'em!

  23. Nice run this evening (Lvl 28 now). Hope you're ok "Mr Burns".

    Next run tomorrow, tuesday 6 pm, seems quite a few might be a bit late, so might start 6.30.

    We're pretty much done with Striga, so might continue to Croatoa, but I'd rather run a full team in Talos than a 6 man team in Croa, so if anyone wanna try it out a bit we're likely to have a spot for about 1 hour tomorrow, maybe the whole evening.

    So far I must say it's been very gratifying, seeing everyone showing up day after day. Makes me proud to be Defiant!
  24. F'coz I HAVE been helped by GMs to fix the annoying stuck/lost mob. No it's not an urban legend, they do pop out and help you at times.

    Still, a 95% - 98% kill rate is a good suggestion, and also look over the story arcs so it's only defeat all when it actually makes sense.
