Laura's eyes spun round in a death gaze at the teacher, but were hit by a indestructible wall. She had ignored the boy that was trying to talk to them, as he OBVIOUSLY didn't know that she couldn't even be SEEN talking to a BOY when she didn't have her make-up on properly.

Time for a bit of charm.

"I'm tho thorry, Colonel. I was just taking Lavender here to the ikkle girls room as she was feeling a little sick.", a slight nudge to Lavender's side re-affirmed that this was what she was supposed to agree with.

Agreed, but what chance do we have at range where SS can cover that before our animations finish? And most of our attacks will miss..using up three powers to do nothing?

Try Blasters. Need to keep travel powers engaged, no defence against Holds/sleeps/Disorients. Can't target through Hide. Range is our only real bonus and Hide/TP shafts that so we're down to creating blappers...and then we get met with 'Nerf Toggle Dropping'.

Weasel's gonna have to be completely re-designed to work in PvP.

Laura slowly got to her feet.

"Ok, this girl has to be a mind reader with such a small physique..oh [censored], she can probably read this..", she thought and then desperately tried to clear her mind of offending thoughts; which given her current state of mind, was not easy.

Sweat ran down her face until she managed to focus on her favourite denim jacket that she'd left at home; as she didn't want to admit to having something quite so unfashionable in her wardrobe. Fuzzy thoughts started to overwhelm her negativity, as her yoga teacher had told her, and she smiled.

Lavender, as she called herself, asked "So...uh, what's your next class?", and Laura smiled.

"Well, I'm supposed to have double maths, but I've got to go clean myself up. I look so TOTALLY a mess. Hey, I've some spare make-up if you want? I could make the guys swoon all over you....", she said, but in the back of her mind, the thought popped up and with you beside me, I'll look even better...

Risk = Reward right? Right.
Phase Shift/PFF etc. nerfed to stop players overusing them in PvP. right? Well...
One shot, never miss tactics that one shot kill any AT regardless of build/toggles or anything that can only be stopped by the very same powers that just were nerfed; by TP Foe into a Drone. Right? Well, frankly no.

PvP is supposed to be about tactics and skill. Not just sitting in ganking squads; but Cryptic 'seem' to be actually supporting that view.

Soloution? Safe Zones are immune from Enemy Fire. Once inside one, you are within a permanent 100% Def ALL PFF.

Drones are no longer needed; or at worse TP you back to your Hospital.

Reasonavbly simple as. atm, TP is the only power that can auto-kill enemies and auto-evade any ability bar Hold/Sleep.

Brutes are fun, but suffer from needing a large group to go against and needing to get into melee.
Corruptors, like Blasters, really need to keep back and finish off.
Dominators are great in a team.
Stalkers are bloody nuisances, and thus fun to play.
Masterminds are very good, but work so much better in a team.

In a normal team, Masterminds should 'worry' the squishies constantly, Stalkers sneaking in to finish them. Dominators should be on Crowd Control, Brutes 'travelling' into the thick and Corruptors AOE'ing the lot of them.

Always be on the watch for sneaky git moves though, like Confusing Pets, TK'ing into Enemies, TP'ing into Drones and other such 'unfair' moves.

Energy/Energy/Force and I got most of the way before ED hit, so I could still solo invincible. It's not as bad now, simple Blast/KB/Blast/KB/Arc KB keeps them at bay until I run into the Cullers. (Zeus/Psi/Sapper)

At that point I stealth in, KB punch, Total Focus and blast quickly before they recover.

I can still clock Reckless most days, even at 49.

Caltrops is seriously one of the best powers in the whole traps set. Just slot it for Slow not Damage

Laura sniffed, her eyes stinging from the mascara running into them. Her hands stung from the smashed tiles and she absentmindedly picked a flake of marble from her fingernail.

Then she saw her bright red nail had broken.

Tears again.

There was a quiet voice from above her but she couldn't really make sense of it. A delicate little hand poked into her view and she took hold of it, smothering it in her much larger hands. The little girl tugged very hard, but it was finally Laura who pulled herself to her feet, unfurling to her full six foot tall. Everything had already gone back to normal with the guys talking about football and the girls giggling over their own little ideas.

"fank you.", she sniffed to the little girl beside her; the eleven year old far more in control now than the heavenly model. "My name's Laura."

Laura walked out, model-like and toughened her skin. Her hand reached up to steady her hair as she walked out into the corridor. Eleven years old and already she had a body that most eighteen year olds would kill for, one way or another, she walked down the corridor, radiating good looks.

Green daggers of jealousy and red ones of lust leapt at her, but her rock hard skin just let them bounce off; but it wasn't half of what she'd expected. Her beautiful forehead wrinkled as she realised that unlike in a normal school; people WEREN'T paying attention to her.

Inside she started to shake. Perhaps she actually wasn't beautiful anymore? Perhaps the mutation had already worn off and she was actually the scrawny ginger haired girl she once was. Panic set in more as she suddenly found herself enveloped in a cloud of smoke. Her skin could withstand most blows, but her delicate eyes couldn't stand this choking vapour. She wanted to choke, but she couldn't be seen to do that, so she walked forward in her red heels.

Straight into the prone body of Pious, still coughing.

A high pitched scream rocked the corridor as Laura was sent flying into the side of the lockers; the sheer force of which threw one or two on their side and she fell straight on her face.

It was all too much for her, and she burst into tears. And as she noticed her mascara running, the tears came more. And then her shoe was broken. And she had smoke in her hair. And she was in the middle of the corridor. And everyone was looking at her.

Floods of tears started to soak the floor. The only person who seemed to be making any moves towards her was the quiet little girl in the corner.

Her fists punched against the tiles in the floor and they cracked as much as her big debut.

Laura peered out of the girls dorms to make sure no-one was coming and then walked over to sinks. Grabbing hold of one of them, she pulled and her muscles tensed as the mirror slid away from the wall. Bringing it up to her height, she pushed the screws on the mirror into the wall with her thumb, and stood back to look at herself.

For a split second, there's a hair out of place, but soon it's back where it's supposed to be. A brief application of lip-gloss and perfume, and she's gonna turn some heads as she walked back out.

Start as you mean to go on, on top.

Web grenade. Awesome in PvP, good in PvE with Caltrops.
Triage - Good if you've got a prolonged battle.
FFG - Nice

The rest I haven't got yet.

Caltrops over the Acid Mortar with a Triage next to it is rather cool though

Laura was in trouble again.

The Policeman tapped his notebook and said sternly, "So, what you're trying to tell me is that this gentleman,", he pointed to a very angry Hellion," was engaged in criminal activity, and on your way to school, you just decided to apprehend him?"
"Yeth, ossifer.", Laura lisped, hanging her head in mock-shame.
"That [censored] broke my [censored] arm!", the Hellion yelled. Laura swung a death-stare on him, and he backed away.
"So, Ms. McMillan, were you going to pick your daughter up from school?"

Laura seethed inside. It wasn't just having to deal with this pompous fool, or him staring at her chest constantly, but the Hellion had said her make-up was crooked and she hadn't had time to check it this morning.

"No, Thir. I'm going to my first clath thith morning."

It took a while, but you could hear the penny drop.

The Policeman suddenly flushed with embarassment and turned away from her.
"Uhm, if you don't mind me asking Ms., how old ARE you?"
"Eleven and a half.", Laura said, folding her arms across her adult chest.

The Policeman looked up at Laura, now at her full height, straight into her eyes this time, and gulped.

"Heh,", he laughed nervously," well if you'd run along to school I'm sure I can deal with this nasty person."

Laura groaned inwardly again as she was turned from Glamour Puss to Little Angel in the space of a few short words. Occasionally she hated her mutation, but it did show that Hellion why NO-ONE called her 'Duracell' anymore, even if she did have a large sweep of Auburn hair. She could always repair that mail-box later.

Well, when in Rome..., she thought to herself.

"Fank you Ossifer, I wouldn't want to miss Double Maths.", she said, cuteness oozing out of her dimples.

She skipped off down the street, hating herself until she turned the corner, and then the Beauty Queen's walk came back as she strode into the School playground.

"Let's just hope he doesn't check I've gone to Maths.", she thought; and headed into the girl's toilets to fix her makeup.

Think FoN can only be got around 45, Tier 9 powers are at 32 and you need one of the earlier powers before you get FoN.

One question, what ages will the characters be; my char changes a lot between primary and college years?

Ok, two : Is the school built to take care of Rad/SS/huge size etc.?

Although my concept does come from the White Wolf game, 'Mage'.

My character is a rogue man in white, and has the ability to call upon the Technocracy technology that he stole while climbing his way up the ranks. The nice things with that concept is that the Technocracy can do pretty much anything as they combine magic and technology to create 'mundane' items, like robots, healing devices and such like.

Temporary Invulnerabilty does, I think.

Force of Nature definitely does.

I 'think' most of the other Epics have an 'Armour' power as well.

Most of the Epics give Protection as well, but that'll depend on which area you're fighting in...

1) It really depends. Most 'levelling up' is done mentally, so you might see an 'Eureka' effect from the person; but OOC is always allowed in times like that
2) If the Teleport Grid is Universal to Paragon, I can't see why a Security grid isn't. Even Spidey and Supes managed to snap themselves at time.
3) Local chat is often considered in character, whilst group or channel chat often reverts to OOC, because even the best of us have cats that want feeding etc.

Best method always is watch until you feel confident, then dive in, and we REALLY don't mind if you make the odd mistake; most of us still have 'asides to camera' at times.

E.G. Weasel tends to use/overuse smileys in his chat because he's a very emotional chap and that brings his personality across.
