  1. When trying (marketeering/farming) I've made upwards of 1-2b a week.

I rarely try though, so I usually pull in a few hundred mil a week at most :3
  2. Thirding what others have said about the pvp sets. If you've got the money and you feel its worth it to you, by all means go for it. But the benefits really are minimal over the significantly cheaper alternatives.

I would try to fit Ball Lightning into your build, a second AoE is very handy, especially with the KD proc from Ragnaroks. Putting Ragnaroks in an AoE immobilise is a total waste. I did take the AoE Immob and I did put purples in it for the set bonuses, but I used the immobilise set.

I would move the Numi +/+ to Health instead of Healing Flames. While it is true that you'll almost always be using HF at least once every 120 seconds, this will not always be the case and you want to max out the heal/end/rech on HF.

Tonality is right, Oblits in Blazing Aura is going to be hell on your end bar. Especially since you've also got them in Consume. Not a problem if you only use Consume on full spawns, but if you're using it on 1 or 2 targets it's not going to help much.

In terms of personal preference, I'd move the Hecatombs to Haymaker. It recharges faster so I find I get more use out of the proc there.

I would also suggest you consider changing PPPs to Soul Mastery. While Soul Tents sucks for leveraging Burn, if you've got decent recharge and a PPP ranged AoE (like Ball Lightning or Dark Obliteration) you shouldn't really need it. I found Soul Mastery much better for my brute for farming for 2 reasons. Firstly, the DoT nature of Gloom means its incredibly end-efficient and helps to ensure Fakes don't bubble. Secondly, while Ball Lightning being DoT means its also technically end-efficient, Footstomp does so much damage that a lot of the time its wasted. Even if it does less damage, the up-front nature of Dark Obliteration means I get much more damage out of it.

Edit: also important to note that Elec Fences has -kb, whereas Soul Tents does not. So you can hit Soul Tents running into a spawn if you want to use Burn but still get the mitigation (especially to stop Fakes bubbling) from KD/KU.

    Hope that helps
  3. FFB +recharge proc looks like Howling Twilight, Decimation BU proc looks like Quickness.

Not a clue why, especially since there are icons that denote increased recharge and tohit/damage.
  4. Grats guys glad to see you were able to finally pull it off Kahlan
  5. For the Huntsman I'd pick up Leadership. Double Assault and Maneuvers = win. If you've got end problems get more end rdx in your attacks, attacks use more end over time than toggles ever will.
  6. My default setting is facetious. Act accordingly.

Edit: I do apologise for the total derail, sorry Balefire.
  7. You realise that requires the existence of 6 pains/therms, right?

    You hussy! How could you?!?

Edit: while your firedark corr languishes as a lowbie, no less. I am shocked, appalled and outraged. In that precise order.
  9. 29.4 is a fair amount of billions.

Should be pretty epic events this year, looking forward to it
  10. I might be able to therm/pain for you, dood.

  14. D-, list lacks corrs.

Edit: for clarification, my own page 1 list reads:
    • SS/Fire Brute
    • Fire/Dark Corr
    • Ice/Cold Corr
    • Sonic/Rad Corr
    • Rad/Kin Corr
    • Fire/Sonic Corr
    • Fire/Traps Corr
    • Elec/Therm Corr
    • Sonic/Pain Corr
    • Arch/TA Corr
    • Ice/Storm Corr
    • Fortunata
I give it a B-, because it lacks Poison, Emp and FF Corrs
  15. Wow. Learn something new every day. I was around for the days when Fulcrum on a huge herd would crash people, but I had no idea it was because of a sound issue. I always just assumed it was gfx overload from so many targets or something.

t MrQuizzles, the error message is something like CoH has encountered an error and has to close, please describe what you were doing when it happened in order to help us solve the problem, or something like that. Unless you're being very cheatyface, you'll almost never see that message nowadays.

But they both have hp and they both have caps for their hp, that's close enough right?

2 forts, a therm, a kin, a cold, a sonic, a rad and a brute who isn't a drooling idiot. The brute, (who isn't stone because stone sucks), is mainly to keep stuff together clustered for AoEs and damage-dealing, tanking is a fake idea when you've got that much buffing and debuffing. 8 corr RSFs are totally awesome but forts are too good to pass up for a dream team. Plus they're basically corrs anyway :3
  19. It's not a problem of covering a spawn with it, its the long animation. A long animation like Frost Breaths will really hamper your speed over the course of a run. I'm well aware that RoAs animation is just as glacial, but it also does far more damage.

Fistful does a fair bit less damage, but its much faster, both in recharge and animation time which is important for your cleanup/finisher AoE when farming.

Edit: about Defender/Corruptor RoA doing same damage as Blaster RoA, I checked in Mids and unlike Ice Storm/Blizzard RoA had different damage numbers for the different ATs. I'll check the ingame numbers in a bit when I've got a minute.

Edit the Second: cry, ingame numbers list Blizzard as 500.49 damage for level 50 Corruptors, Blasters and Defenders but different numbers for RoA. 98.99 for Corrs, 150.15 for Blasters and 97.54 for Defenders. I wonder why.
  20. I'd probably go with Kin/Archery. While Ice Storm and Blizzard doing the same damage as blaster versions, (why doesn't RoA btw? They're all pseudopets...), RoA is less unwieldy to use because its crashless and while Explosive Arrow does KB, the rest of the AoEs in Archery are much better than Ice.

Unless you're dropping Blizzard on them as well, Ice Storm at the damage cap still isn't going to be enough to wipe a spawn. You need something to follow it up with. Ice Breath is sadly a turd. Archery has the advantage of RoA doing plenty of damage but being more convenient because it recharges way faster than Blizzard, does its damage relatively quickly (compared to Ice Storm) and has better AoEs to finish a spawn off with.

You'd still not catch me dead farming with a defender
  21. Try a corr. Seriously.

All the buffy/debuffy goodness of a defender/controller without anemic damage which would probably appeal to you're used to melee ATs.

I agree with you Siolfir, that's why I said cold myself. Rads are fantastic for dropping AVs but they don't help as much as colds/therms/sonics in terms of keeping people alive. A cold/therm/sonic brings a lot of survivability to a team as well as good debuffs.

Also while double SBs is hilarious and I'd certainly not turn one down, if I was making my dream team for an RSF I'd not have more than 1 kin, simply because they don't stack as well as say, Colds.
