I saw another person in the forums (don't remember who) that figured out it was cheaper for them to get a second account rather than buy more slots.* Is that not an option?
* This wouldn't make sense if you just wanted all the slots for Champion only. I think the person wanted slots on more than one server.
Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.

i would rather have more slots than get a second account since buying the slots are 1 time fees while paying for a 2nd (or 3rd, ect) account really adds up after awhile.
I'd love to be able to get more slots as well; I've been transferring toons left and right just to have a few open spots for new toons. Granted, I don't have three full pages (only two pages plus one slot on the third) yet, but I'm an alt addict and like having at least one open space for the crazy toon ideas I get occasionally. Wish I could use those open spots on Guardian, Justice, etc. for Champion instead.

lol. I'm addicted too but thank goodness I'm not as efficient a leveler as Bud. I like the happy emote instead of a "shakes fist".

You can have some of my slots, I only have 5 characters (2 of which I don't play).
instead of creating new toons, why not alt-build the toons you have?
Toon creation is a terrible addiction. It keeps you from playing the toons you have and need to maintain. Yes, there's not much to do once you hit 50. But the things you can do - team with friends, above all - should still perk your interest.

Where I'm sure that purchasing another acct would be feasible I don't want to have to do that. This account I've had for AGES. It has all of my costume packs, about to ding 60 months vet reward, and dammit I LOVE CHAMPION! But I'm running out of room!

With my 2 accounts I tend to play more on my main account. But have a few toons on my 2nd that I do want to get to 50 some day.
I do want to get some more villian 50s, since I only have 4 (and 2 more close, but I have 3 heros in the 40 range too)

I don't play 80% of the characters.
Until recently I was gasping for slots. I had deleted several of my 50s that I never played in order to roll new stuff.
Now I've got a couple slots free, of my 24 slots on Champion I regularly play at least the first page of characters (delicious, delicious Corrs). Second page is the free slots, retired heroes and vills I rarely play at all.

I have 39 characters at the moment, mostly on Guardian. I really need to buy some slots for Champion now that I'm spending so much time here.

I was looking at the toons that I am working on beside the 3 big push toons (2 static teams and my EM/SD scrapper) I tend to make 2-3 toons close to the same and one will take off and be the current project toon.
currently working on 4 different Ice fenders/Corr, 3 different Spine/?? scrappers, 2-3 different brutes (1 SD and 2 ED)

Then I start scheduling theme nights (night of smash for brutes, domination night for doms, etc) and I have to make sure I have a good toon available for those nights and I just keep creating more.
I'm actually debating moving all of my heroes (except for my stone brute) to another server to make room for more villains (ok, more brutes), but I haven't pulled the trigger on that yet.
And, just my luck, the devs came out with the free server transfers about a month or so after I moved all of my villains from Pinnacle over to Champion.
Angie, and everyone else with slot issues, I feel your pain (and I have two accounts!)

It didn't help my lack of space at all, but I traded three characters between Guardian and Champion today, to get the ones from over there more play.

But anyway, here's a simple solution that I've used over the years to solve the lack of character slots.
Step 1. Play a character to 50.
Step 2. If already have 1 of said Powerset or Archetype and have overlapping effects (debuffs/buffs/dmg) on multiple characters then choose a favorite and delete either the new 50, or the old 50.
Step 3. Make new 50
So you wind up with less characters, or a character for everything.
Here is a general run-down of the 10 active 50s that I have on my main account. Whenever I find something more fun/more effective than previous toon in a certain category the old gets wiped/deleted and replace by the new one. I've only gone through about 37 deleted 50s so far, the systems works well.

1 Controller for misc AV soloing
1 Debuffer/buffer
1 STD Scrapper
1 AoE Scrapper
1 PvP Blaster
1 PvE Blaster
1 Empath
1 Kin
