    Aye, that's why in a previous iteration of the build I had it slotted with heal/end/rech instead of heal/rech to get a decent bit of end rdx for it.

    Due to slotting constraints I've had to cut it down to just the heal/rech and end/rechs though. Given that you're only gonna be casting CS every minute and a half, its not a big deal if it doesn't have much end rdx. I've gone Cardiac on my Corr so it at least has that. The worst offenders for this combo are the AoEs, Blaze and the stuff you're dropping every fight, like DF or SR.

    A fair point. For me, it's a question of 'why not?'

    Both the healing and endurance buffs only last 30s of the 90s duration, but given you can frankenslot the power and get good end/heal as well as recharge numbers, why the hell not?

    I mean I guess if you felt slotting was really tight you could leave it with just recharges, but I think it'd be a bit wasteful given the minimal investment and nice improvement across the board with frankenslotting.
  4. Looks good, only a few small things I'd tweak.

    I'd frankenslot Chrono Shift with Heal/Recharges and End/Recharges. You'll be able to get good heal/endmod numbers for a minimal recharge hit. Especially given the level of recharge in the build, I feel its best to enhance the healing and endmod on CS too.

    I'd swap the dam/range HO in Blaze for a simple end rdx IO. Blaze can have its range enhanced by Cardiac and the Apoc set gives plenty of damage enhancement by itself. I'd also swap the straight DAM Apoc for the proc. Ditto for Fireball.

    Other than that looks solid to me

  6. The slotting for DF isn't so much about enhancing the hold, which I agree is pretty pitiful, so much as the damage proc and extra purple set bonuses.

    BrandX, Yeah as others have said, DF is really great in conjunction with TJ and RoF to ensure mobs stay inside it and die nicely. I've found its really good with the Lockdown proc too, which I see going off a lot more than the default hold.

    DF and Slowed Responses are two of the main workhorses in Time IMO. Run in, TJ initially debuffs 'em, drop TF and SR, go to town.

    Deus, Soul Drain is pretty nice. Unfortunately not as nice as the Dark Mastery version (for reasons which escape me) but its still a good buff. While it won't be perma, you can still have it up a good half of the time which is a significant buff to your offensive power.

    Fiery, That's a really nice rework, I like it a lot. Now I also agree with the 1 or 3 KB IOs thinking, since 1 is enough for almost everything and the few things for which 1 isn't enough, 2 isn't either. That said, for this build I'd consider taking the Karma -KB out and moving it to DF to put the Lockdown proc back in.

    I'd be at 2 -KB IOs which is a little silly, but at least the Steadfast is granting a bit of extra recovery.

    Nihilii, Perhaps its for the best if you don't try a Fire/TM Corruptor because you'll definitely never play a Scrapper again. While I personally think that'd be great, you (and many others in this fine subforum) would probably disagree

    I've gotta ask though, what's got you leaning towards Dark? If its the self heal, TM has a much better self heal in Temporal Mending.

    I share your wish for a good aggro power for Corruptors, but fortunately Fire can melt stuff so fast it doesn't have time to run away, especially in conjunction with TM. AVs and GMs can still occasionally try to leg it, but that's why you have a single melee pityslot on any given team, right?

    The 30s duration is only the regen and recovery buff, the recharge buff it gives lasts 90s.
  8. Wow, very nice. The loss of the Achilles proc in Slowed Response is a shame, but damn, those bonuses from Shield Breaker.

  11. Once again I'm here to ask for help with a build in what is technically the wrong forum

    I'd appreciate any help in working on the build for my Fire/Time Corruptor. The goal is softcapped M/R/AoE as well as boatloads of recharge. With Powerboost, slotted Farsight gives about 22.3% defense (depending on slotting). So that means I only need about 22.7% defense to all positions to be softcapped.

    I've got a very rough draft so far which ticks most of the boxes, but I'm a bit short on defense for M/R and way short on AoE. I don't mind AoE not being softcapped, that's not a big deal.

    Where I'm having difficulty is scraping together enough defense as well as the recharge needed to have Chrono Shift perma.

    I'm still messing with builds myself. Got 22% melee and ranged, which leaves me at 44.4% with PB Farsight. I don't mind not softcapping AoE, but I'm sure its possible.

  14. You're correct Swifty, Farsight will provide the full Powerboosted defense value for its duration as long as PB is active when you cast Farsight.

    All the other defense-providing toggles like Weave/Maneuvers/Hover/CJ/etc will only provide their PBd defense values for the duration of PB. So to be fully softcapped all the time, you need a) enough recharge for PB to be up whenever you need to cast Farsight and b) enough defense from your other stuff unPBd in conjunction with PBed Farsight.

    Powerboosted and ED slotted PB provides 22ish % defense, so you need about 23% defense from your other stuff when PB isn't active.

  19. Interesting. I tried to snag 'Silas' on Exalted but wasn't able to. The character creator said the name was taken, but /getglobalname and /friend turned up nada, saying the character/global doesn't exist.

    If you try to make a character called Statesman it'll tell you in character creation that it's taken, but ingame if you try to find out who has it it says the character doesn't exist. I figured maybe Silas was taken like that, though I don't know of any Silas NPC.

    Might be this bug instead? Who knows.

    In any case, when it comes to Silases (Silae? Silii?) accept no substitute

    Time Overpowered

    Been playing my Fire/Time Corr a lot these past few days.

    Verdict: Time is good. Really, really good. Even without PB Farsight.

    Distortion Field, (what I first thought would be one of the stinkers in the set), is a wonderful trick with 5 Unbreakable Constraints and a Lockdown proc in it. The real hold in the power itself is nothing to write home about, but that token hold opens up a wonderful world of slotting shenanigans.

    Time Crawl is probably my least used power. With DF and TJ going, I never touch Time Crawl except for AVs. In which case I use it in conjunction with Time Stop, but the -regen is still a little weak for my tastes.

    I can forgive that though, given the rest of the set is so good.

    I mean uh, this set is garbage. I'm a VIP and this is what I get? What a slap in the face, et cetera.
