  1. I could make a list longer than my arm for this but I'll pare it down to just the following.

    Egos.

Aware of the irony, but at least I'm aware of it and try to keep it under control. People with big egos lacking self awareness and all the behaviour that goes with it drive me nuts.

It's damage is untyped, so the massive typed defenses for the mitos shouldn't even effect it.
If you're not talking about Confuse then it won't work. Enemies don't have friendly fire in this game except for a small percentage of encounters with multiple enemy factions.

All of it's holes can be plugged through IOs.

It starts with resists but has defense. You can layer more defense on that and combined with the heal, you'll be amazingly survivable. End drain resistance and +perception are there too. Psi damage will never be a problem for you either.
Good point. /Dark has a lot of esoteric protections which help a lot with many of the endgame villain groups. Plus being absurdly tough built right with IOs.
  7. Once every 10seconds on every target in range.

The reason its good to proc Hot Feet out on a Fire/Kin is because FS will cap the damage on it even with no damage slotted, so procs will give you extra damage outside of the cap. With Transference end isn't a concern and IOd builds have enough accuracy for Hot Feet to hit reliably enough.
  8. Willpower is the most well-rounded for endgame stuff. While I've seen the RSF tanked exceedingly well by an /Inv Brute, the Psy protection in WP helps a lot.

Build for defense and +hp. Without support in a big spawn of Cims or Nicti you are vulnerable to cascade failures, but you can always eat a purple or two and the benefit of WP is you can easily get well over 2k health. Even at negative defense 2.5k health to chew through is a fair amount of breathing room.

The exception is of course the Freedom Phalanx. Undebuffed (or you unbuffed) most of them can easily drop any Brute in 1-3 shots. Make sure to bring orange/purple insp and Demonic.

While as the others have said /Stone is by far the sturdiest, the drawbacks are significant. I saw you said it'll be for speed TFs, which excludes /Stone right off the bat IMO. Even if you've got a Kin on the ball keeping you permanently SBed not being able to jump severely hinders your ability to keep up on a speed TF.

You didn't mention primaries so I'm not sure if you've already got one in mind or not, but I'd recommend SS or Stone. Both have good AoE and mitigation tools to help out with keeping you on your feet. Both have good ST damage for the AVs and bosses on TFs.

It depends when I'm working, really. I happen to be working this Saturday so an event at 2am Friday night isn't great for me.

I'm not working next Saturday so if you're doing an event then I'll be able to attend (cough all Corr RSF or BSF cough)

Also haha, "you Europeans", I think there are like 3 on the whole server

For reference though, whatever time something is EST, +6 hours is Central Silas Time :3
  10. Comparing Blasters to Corrs in terms of raw damage is farcical anyway. Blasters are a pure damage AT, Corrs are a damage/support AT.

Of course the Blaster is going to do much more damage, it's all they do.

Edit: re: Blasters being a good force to multiply, this is true. Blasters doing great amounts of damage winds up with some pretty obscene results when teamed with buffers and debuffers.

Even on a team with 7 Corrs I'd rather add another Corr or Defender than a Blaster. The only exception to this would be if all the Corrs/Defenders were kins
  11. Gotta quit doing these on days I can't attend Trev, you scoundrel :P

    GL guys

Edit: ElectroHawk, what Corrs have you tried and what are your favourite other characters?

Tri slotted w/ standers Heal IOs puts regen slightly under 2000% Back it with a solid recharge build and it can recharge in less than 35 seconds. That on top of perma Hoarfrost.

Numbers that I have on the build I put together puts Regen w/ Hiber active at 297.2 HP Regen/sec. Now obviously one wouldn't be able to taunt while Hib'd or have their acro aura be effecting target however Hib has none of the negative aspects that Rest does. So taking what Cobalt suggested w/ his Rest idea and expound upon it for Hibernate?

    Hib/Pop out/Throw taunts in/Pop EoE/Hoarfrost/Hib again.

On paper it seems like it would work.

    Drawbacks? Problems?
    Problem: NoPhase

Once you Phase/Hib you can do so for up to 30 seconds but not again for 90 seconds after that.

Your idea still works, you'd just need 4 Ice Tankers cycling through to do it, 5-6 to be on the safe side.
  14. Far superior: DeCexyLong, a DJ Lobsterdust mashup

Also, I vote this becomes a camwhore thread. All in favour say aye!
  15. Fire/Kin Corr. Much higher AoE damage than a Fire/Psi but more importantly can bring the Brute to their damage cap.

Fire/Kin and SS/whatever Brute is one of those awesome combos where the result is way more than the sum of its parts.

How're you getting those numbers? Blaze and Fire Blast (both slotted for 99% dam for simplicity) in Mids on PvP mode do 327 and 280 respectively.

Unless, of course, when you said literally you didn't actually mean literally :3
  17. I saw this thread in the overview for the Server forums and was like "whaaaaaaaat"

My bad. As you were, gentlemen.
  18. Blasters have the edge in damage dealing pretty much all the time.

However, Corr secondaries mean the whole team does more damage.

Blasters are an incredible force. But for teams, nothing beats force multiplication.
  19. I dunno, I've not done it myself either and the few trades I know of have been between friends.

Just comes down to trust I guess. Maybe half the money, trade the IO, get the second half? Still leaves you open to getting burned on half the agreed price but there's not much else you can do.

Or maybe an intermediary trusted party?

I agree with Amy. Best to have nukes and try without and have them as a fall-back. Better to have and maybe not need than need and not have.

  21. Good times Myr. I've already told you my ideas via tells but if I think of something else I'll let you know.

Oh and re: mez durations going through the roof when Rested:

This was a fairly long duration mez to begin with, (I dunno, 20-30 seconds), but the mez resistance debuff on Rest shot the number so high it broke the ingame notation

    Linky

Edit: Oh and Myr? Pour vous.
