I have a few things that I would love to use double doors for, opening up into a grand room for one thing. But if I had to pick double doors or being able to decorate said current doorways, I want to decorate or at least put things on the freaking walls, perhaps a banner or two?

Are we going red or blue side Stacker? Just so I know who to copy over.

Ad-Astra (I think it was in your post); I hate to say this but to get a fully fuctional blueside base is closer to 4-6 mill. I know because I am in the middle of building my blue side base. This is taking into account the plot size and rooms for everything, placing all telliporters and becons, the power and control. Unless someone else has a better way for power I am having to save for the next step up in a generator and after I craft the darn thing it will cost me 1 mill prestege. Having a small SG this can be hard to get your hands on.

I have been paying atttention to this thread though and I have to agree with SwellGuy, I can see the devs trying to control the "ebil marketeers" as he defined and my quesiton would be how many of those "ebil marketeers" would build a base just for themselves to hoard there things....it would seem that they are more interested in getting money at the market than taking time to learn how to putiing together a functional storage base.

Your thoughts?

I will be there, I also have a small Vent account that we can use for voice chat so we won't lag too bad. I am very interested in learning how to stack down from the cealing, I can go up but not down this should be interesting.

I will see how done my VG is...I was adding some new rooms to finish off the base so I will work with my VG leader and hubby (yes it is a family VG) to get something for submission this weekend.

I too am on Triumph and am more than willing to help you out on both sides. While my Hero side is a bit more bare with a few more decorations than my Villian side I am slowly getting all of the functionality but feel free to PM me and we can set up a tour and I am always willing to help out a new decorator.

While I am not really a marketeer I am a base builder. Some things that both my husband and I noticed were the following:
a) the conversion is way way too high to actualy use for base building
b) Our VG has more prestige than our SG but our SG toons have more inf than our VG toons
c) some of the costs to put things into the SG/VG are high when you really think about some of it.

Well that is my two cents on it.

Stacker, your staircase makes me want to cry....I want something like that but I can only imagine the time that took you.

Yes. Now I have to say here and I said it in another thread, the Devs need to watch how much they are complaining and screaming about farms because they have there own that they made it is called the sewers. But I gave my rant on that once and won't do it again.

I think the big issue is that they need to go back to the basic programing of the bases in order to give us base love. We now have our own red name and last I knew he/she was checking into all the programing, that takes time. Though I will be very happy when some of our base love requests come to life.

Yeah I can understand the problem if you don't have permission but you are both right it would be very handy, I am the base builder and when trying to creaft items to put into the base... man I so wish I did not have to rummage for those items.

I think it was that they can change the name if there is a copyright problem, not just change the name.

Triumph mostly but I do have a toon on Victory

but they have the stupid trio of bathroom doors! why not have some "doors" it would make some of our bases look more homey.

I must agree with Jynxie on the last two requests. My request is that we have all of this salvage now, how about being able to "invent" some cool decorative stuff for our bases? Things like the windows, rugs for the floor, different bookshelves, auras around decrative items that sort of thing. Unless your planning on doing a buch of base raids I don't see the point to some of the things that you can invent once your have your teliporters built.
