And I dug it... good visuals, decent action, wet Millia Jovavich, zombies.. all around a fun movie.
Only things I felt could have been improved on - big axe dude... seriously.. they could have done something better than.. "big axe dude comes to cut folks in half with no real in story impetus"
Also there is SOME post initial credit footage I don't know if there was any end of credit footage though. -

So after watching it.. DIGGING it so far, especially the twist at the end of the ep... seriously, didn't expect that.

Covert Affairs... hmm its actually a bit like the Bourne series (no suprise since the director was part of that project) It has a good story, decent action so far, and it caught one of the key points of geek dome right away - DON'T TRUST MOHINDER. A very solid series, imho. I kind of wish that they do a cross over ep with Burn Notice (just so the female lead of CA can see that a burned spy isn't just some dude who is untrustworthy by virtue of leaving in the middle of then night, and probably learn a bit from Fiona what being in a relationship with one means). Annie is very much a Female version of Bond (she did her Tae Kwon Do instructor at the "Farm" for crying out loud)

I'll give this show a trial run. Spy shows have gotten a good boost as of late. I wonder how this will compare to Covert Affairs....
Weird though that Burn Notice is on Hiatus till November when this is on. -

No.. hasbro decided all their action hero franchises (Marvel, Star Wars, Transformers, and GI Joe) have to have a "Squad" componant. GI Joe Renegades is also coming out for HUB. -

AND I DUG IT... perfect mix of mindless action, cool one liners, and grind house style cinema... If you have to have your brain "on" to watch a movie skip this one. If you want a fun popcorn throwback... see it..
also.. yeah now I am weary of where hot chicks keep their cell phones...

I also recommend Black and White as well as its sequal Shades of Gray by Jackie Kessler and Caitlin Kitteredge It takes an interesting spin on corperate sponsored Superheroes.

Depends though, if its your garden variety torch / match and gas fire or IED collateral damage, yeah ineffective in the short term, but over time, effective. Now napalm / phospherous or any other high level incindienary, then yeah Zombies becoming piles of ash really makes the "brain must be destroyed" rule a mute point. -
I always wonder how hospitals get around the "evacuate comatose patients incase of a state of emergency" policy one would think they have. lol Definitely looking forward to this series ( I wonder if I have AMC)
