Lvl 50 only content - May happen over time
End game content - See above
PVP fixed - Not going to happen at this rate.

Edited for accuracy. -

What bugs me to no small degree is that this game USED to have ok PVP, but then IOs were introduced and it turned into WoW.
I am vocal because this game has nothing left to offer except what is left of pvp. It was my first MMO, I would like to hang around. But I cannot tolerate PvE anymore.
[/ QUOTE ]
Same for me mate. I plan to play what's left of this game until my sub runs out in february then I'm off to WAR. Shame though, gonna miss this game, but I bet a few people will be glad to see the back of me so it's all good -

If FFM can SO CAN I!
[/ QUOTE ]
I don't see that in the small print
For FFM it's unwritten law -
Don't think its going to happen anytime soon though, but it would be nice.
Either wait for it to happen on CoX or wait for CO, both are lengthy waits -

The devs stated that the game wasn't made harder because of IOs.
[/ QUOTE ]
Im sure devs pvp an awful [censored] lot.
[/ QUOTE ]
No. I highly doubt that. They're too busy with making 'improvements' such as i13 PvP. If they did PvP then they would know for a fact that what they did was a mistake and wouldn't have implemented it in the first place.
However I could be wrong, and some of them do actually PvP. If so then they either A) Need some time off to get their heads screwed on or B) Get another job. -

11 million WoW subscribers says you're wrong.
[/ QUOTE ]
That many??They must have a good marketing team!
[/ QUOTE ]
A very good marketing team, huge budget, and a great deal of luck.
[/ QUOTE ]
Luck has nothing to do with it tbh. But I agree with the huge budget and great marketing team. -

I'd love to know how they could apply that to Zonal PvP.
[/ QUOTE ]
By removing the mistake they called i13 pvp. What else?
[/ QUOTE ]
It's an option on the Arenas Mr Smarty Pants.
Now come up with a way of implementing it optionally in a PvP Zone. You may not like these things, but others do. I could add some comment about growing up, but that's starting to get too petty.
[/ QUOTE ]
By all means whatever floats your sinking boat, my friend.
But the option is (not for the players, but for the devs) is either A) Revert back to i12 PvP or B) Risk losing a lot more subs. And we both know that I am not just talking about the EU, because there are far more PvPers on the US servers.
Your move. -

hell we even let shen come back(kiddin mate)

...
That's because my only toon in the SG at the time was removed for whatever reason, and I wasn't told. So I never left tbh.
But I agree with your points mate.
Union ftw.

Happens in many other areas not just Gnomereganiv always thought this a good and realistic tactic in WoW.
And if you want a challenge, lets set up a Hami Raid!
[/ QUOTE ]
I only ever got up to a lvl 50 rogue before getting bored. But the reason I used Gnomeregan as an example was because when this alarm sounded, it brought back 4 EBs, which should be the same if implemented as a possible development for CoX -
[ QUOTE ]
Done that more times than I care to admit (and it's a bother because I'm Op for a few of them >_<. What I find now works is to create a tab other than the Global one where I stick a second copy of the channels. That way, if I delete Global again (as I'm known to do) at least I don't loose the channels. Yay!
Also, I approve of this idea.
[/ QUOTE ]
Thirded.
1 Problem though, if someone needs to be removed from that channel for misconduct etc etc, and they use the lock channel option, then the only thing you can do is a perma silence. I for one, would rather remove them. -
[ QUOTE ]
I'd like mobs to be able to sound the alarm if you didn't defeat them fast enough, so there'd me ambushes turning up.
Or have the ones who run away come back with help.
[/ QUOTE ]
I like this. I like this a lot. This happens in WoW (Gnomeregan), and it adds a more challenging aspect to the game because half the time you end up eating concrete.
/singed to this idea. -

IO's are earned, be it through farming, playing the markets or simply ploughing through taskforces.
They're *in the game* ... why penalise those that spent the time to get them?
It's like telling a formula one driver "sorry, we're going to a wheel off now. You've gotten quite good at this driving malarky now and we want to level the playing field again"
[/ QUOTE ]
Point is they have to be GRINDED. GRIND GRIND GRIND.
giving a big advantage to those people willing to do it will put people like me who cant be bothered with it off the game.
By not penalising those that spent the time to get them youre penalising everybody else. Its either or.
[/ QUOTE ]
If a player can't be ar$ed to work for it then I don't see why those who are willing to work (or grind) for it should be punished for those who won't/can't.
The devs stated that the game wasn't made harder because of IOs. If you don't like the system then ignore it (or something along those lines - someone please correct me if I am wrong). So basically, if you cannot be bothered to grind and put the effort into the task of acquiring the IOs, then why the heck should those who have/still are, be punished?
Do you call that fair? Try putting youself in the position of a person that has gone through the grind reluctantly for the build they wanted, then answer that question.
(Please note: I have never farmed for IOs. I acquire mine via doing TF after TF for influence, and then spend it accordingly. So this is quite insulting to a person such as myself who doesn't farm because it is 'frowned upon') -
So you have never been in a ITF team where someone has made a quirky comment about Daedalus being Posi? Because if thats the case, then that is one unique team.
Don't think I have ever been in an ITF team where posi wasn't mentioned in the Defeat Rommy and his Generals (the mish with Requiem - Quite easily the best villain in this game I may add) -

I agree with you on that. ETA for i14?
[/ QUOTE ]
Late February would be my guess.
[/ QUOTE ]
Bleh! Subs run out beginning of feb, and I don't plan to renew them. Hopefully the build up to i14 will change my mind. -
[ QUOTE ]
It will have to be the mission architect. I suspect that feature will either reinvoke my interest in the game or kill it off, depening in equal parts on how it's implemented and how it's presented.

i12 PvP to be brought back would be the main one for me. But other than that I'd welcome any new, decent content.

Exciting changes=we're going to mess up the game.
So true with I13 PvP.

Phantoms does, yes.

He has a point though, and he was only supporting his statement with a perfect example -
Now all I have to wait for is this to be brought to zonal as well.
And cheers for the info Spag -

This is so true, yet I still feel the need to get the shinier one. Can anyone explain why?
