  1. And when all that fails. IMMEDIATELY buy a real 3D gaming graphics-quality video card to replace it.
  2. Quite plainly... the 6150 LE a below low-end intergrated-video solution. Doesn't matter what operating system someone is using with it. NCSoft themselves does NOT recommend anything below a 6200. Says so right on the Co* Webpage. And even that card isn't the answer for this real-time intensive 3D game. One should buy a real 3D gaming graphics-quality video card.

Why does my Nanny program rate this as Adult/Porngraphy?

    [/ QUOTE ]

You've been playing this game for over three years and you still have a Nanny Filter??
  5. It is there, now... and funny as usual.
  6. I have long since turned that Sidebar OFF on my system. I don't need to see more bouncy-secondhand clocks ticking away at home or at work. If I need little widgets on the Desktop I'll just open up Google.
  7. I go with #1. Unless she's an AR Blaster... there is no reason for the belt choice in Number 2. Unless she likes having ammo-pouches continually stabbing her in the gut when she's flexing and twisting about. And who needs that extra weight hanging about the waist and hips, anyway? Also the one-piece suit on #1 'breathes' better...and it can get hot out there during a prolonged daylight battle.

One reason is this is NOT a performance 3D Gaming Card. You would need a 7600GT or higher to get good results. So yes, turning down the settings is about the only option.

Sorry about that, guys. That was the gallery at our SG site, and I didn't realize I had it set to need an account to access the pages in it. I've fixed the link so that it goes directly to the image. Lemme know if that works for you. Here's one

Ahh, okay there it is. One thing I would say in addition to it being a good job and all... that I would be careful in these 'forced angle/perspective' drawings and sketches... to visually define a source of power (or show the effect OF a power) denoting that this is a 'normal-sized' hero hovering or flying in mid-air. To those who play this game each day, we recognize the pose and in-air stance. To those seeing this for the first time and not knowing the Co* Power and Lore... it might... might appear to be some 100-Foot tall *Gargantu-Man* or whatever... standing upon the building rooftops.
  10. Sorry, bad link. Need an account there. Use www.photobucket.com
  11. Ummm, they already held a showing for all those, and these are the ones she chose out of that group.

EX: Photobucket is for people who like a healthy serving of spam with their images.

Huh? Not quite following here. What 'spam' are you talking about?
    Typical Single-Pic link on Photobucket...

And if you're referring to actual PB Albums, they are neat and uncluttered...
    Such as KittysDawn's album pages.
  13. No, bumping up that resolution won't really do much for the overall quality. The factors that DO make a difference generally fall under:

    1. Method of Capture: Working with /Demo Record would provide a superior capture as you output the PLAYBACK without the Network LAG involved. The same 'Text' file would playback cleaner because it is only rendering the Local Client screen, without any network delays.

The other advantage is you don't have to waste screen resources rendering the UI screens and all those 2D Interfaces, unless it is your intent to show the User Interface in the video.

    2. If you have to use Fraps or Camtasia... etc. Then tell the screen-recorder to make all captures at 30 fps... NOT 15 fps (which is usually their Default). You want to get MORE of the action, not less... to start off with.

3: Method of compression: Always use a higher level of quality in your compression of .WMV files, as you only need to see them on your local drive... so filesize isn't as important here. When you (sadly) upload that finished .WMV or .AVI to the WebHost site... they will in-turn (sadly still) recompress the file-footage to fit their format and size limitation. So you'll lose the quality there, but at least you won't have started out with a badly compressed production. So keep the .WMV file at a higher level of Quality over a smaller (more compressed) file-size.

Because of this... you would want to give greater consideration to using LESS of the Camera POV Movement shots, and more of the static-camera shots (letting the action play in front of your camera instead of following it around everywhere someone moves). This is to reduce unnecessary pixilation and MPEG artifacting of the footage. The less the CAMERA moves its location on the screen... the better the output of the video images. Yes, I know in PvP footage, this is more difficult.

There are other considerations to make (such as screen-size... quality of audio... etc.) but that will come with practice, trial and error.

    GIF editor...

Now that Adobe Image-Ready has been removed from their Suite, I find I can use their Fireworks to do pretty much the same thing. Yes, I know the program is a bit of overkill for simple 2D GiF animations, but learning one set of flexible tools helps adapt the creations for exporting to any needed format and size environment.

I have to assume it is because of having only 1GB of RAM, since Vista uses more than XP.

Yup. Add that other Gig of RAM and Zoning won't even be an issue.

Is there a resolution yet to the blacked out character models when inside arachnos missions? I have the same issue in Banks and Casino's as well. It only happens inside missions so far. Couple screens of what it looks like:
