A lot of people want AE completely removed from the game because of farmers. In my opinion, DFBs and ITFs are barely any different in farming. Only difference is people won't accept a leecher in DFB/ITF.

But if I had to choose, I like Penny's appearance in #1 better while #2 has cool poses. Though I'm already going to be seeing those poses on my log in screen so might as well go with 1. -
A shield tanker paired with super strength will make the tanker hit damage about as significant of an average brute while maintaining possibly superior defense/resistance. However, a shield brute has potential to be the highest hitting thing in the game. Shield sacrifices a lot of defense and resistance for attack, though.

But yeah, IDF/Warworks have some crazy resistance. Of course DP can use fire ammo to get by this as well, but if you compare them in contrast to a full on fire blast set or something they're rather lacking. I hope after this Praetoria nonsense we get a larger variety on enemies with resists. -
Well AR and DP have the same issue in that a LOT of end game enemies have very high resistance to smashing/lethal damage. They come off weaker than they really are.

I don't want to sound overly positive, so I'll just pretend I'm being possessed by Golden Girl and say NCsoft has been filling in a lot of old things we've wanted like rolling any archetype (besides Epics) on either side.

Though Cross-Server/Client-Wide teaming sounds a bit like an exaggerated promise. -
If you're redside you usually have to wait until a friday/saturday night for DFB or until a new powerset comes out. Otherwise you're only going to be in a team with tumbleweeds.

May be in the same boat. Especially with a lot of TFs being rewritten/reprogrammed to avoid hazard zones.

Cross Server Teaming isn't my top pick but it's intriguing me. I'm guessing it can work since there exists global channels. Would it be using instanced versions of TFs? Or would it just be for the trials(DFB,DIB, itrials)?

The quickest and easiest change I would say the set needs the most is to frontload or "midnight grasp" Flamethrower. Frontload 70% or so of the damage upfront would give the set the oomph it lacks. Other than that, I'd give Full Auto a 16 target cap, change the KB in Buckshot and M30 to KD, and try to make the ranges and cone sizes of the various powers a little bit more homogenous so they require less jumping around to line stuff up.
It could also use a big aesthetic improvement.
I have a huge AR rant that I've repeated over the years but I'm too tired and too sick to type it all up right now. Perhaps tomorrow I will come back and elaborate. -
