The last time Guardian was having issues, Kheldarn and I made Infinity our Guardian Down server.
However, In the event that the servers go down, I have been known to log in and use the Netflix server. -
The only issues I'm having is that the &^$^&$^% chat tabs keep dropping all of the Global Channels. I've been on for 8 hours now and wondered why things were so *^%$^* quiet.
It's becoming a total *&%& in the &^%^&% to &^%*^& &^%67 with the &^%&^% going on with this. -
Happy belated Birthday Back Alley Brawler!!

My legal team is advising me to use extreme caution while pondering which embarassing and quite possibly incriminating tidbits to share here.
I will have to run a few selections through them and get approval first. -
Congratulations Kinrad!!

Meh! I had to run some errands to get what I needed to fix a bathroom sink. It's clogged and overflowed several times now.
Hopefully I will be around next week. -

Nope, Angry is ellow, which is to say Angry is Hello, which is to say Hello in an Angry tone, which is to Reluctantly say Hello because you'd rather just kill the person, which is why I have Dual Chainsaws, which is highly anti-social and angry...
*runs through thread wielding Dual Chainsaws* -
Look Hyperstrike, don't look down your nose and talk down to me with some innuendo of entitlement. I could give a dead pedo's corpse about the speed something is implemented.
You stated that several things were put in the design as a direct result of the community's input and called BS on point 3.
All I did was point out that Point 9 agrees with your statement and the post actually agrees with you if you look at it.
Now get off my back. I'm not attacking you. -
Quote:Starts making cheap knock off transactions and bypasses paying TopDoc.Aha! I have just figured out how to make a fairly secure 4 billion Inf transaction. I think this is what you meant above...
Buyer starts with 4 billion Inf, probably 2 on hand and 2 in gleemail or Market bids. Seller brings prime IO plus another 9 lesser IOs worth approximately 3 billion Inf total. Those other 9 probably need to be high end purples or PvP IOs. Buyer and seller do 3 trades where buyer trades 1 billion Inf for 3 or so of the lesser value IOs that are worth approximately 1 billion. This is a net even trade, so no one has gained or lost anything. In the 4th and final trade, the buyer offers his last billion plus the 3 billion in other IOs for the prime 4 billion IO. If someone runs off before the final trade, no one has really gained or lost anything.
If this is not what you meant above, then I Copyright (C) 2010, Patent, and Trademark the above as a TopDoc Trade (TM). Trading in the above manner is subject to a 1% sale price fee, payable via gleemail to @TopDoc. -
Quote:Hyperstrike, note the emphasis. At first, the Devs did ignore us. Then only after the original CrapSammich of their new UI was thrust in their faces did they actually start listening to us.I wasn't in the very beginning of beta, but I was in there. As far as I can tell, it went something like this:
1. Everyone agrees that the market UI could be better.
2. Players post some specific suggestions here and on the suggestions forums.
3. Devs ignore them and come up with their own ideas.
4. Devs completely rewrite the UI in accordance with their own ideas.
5. When it's about half done, they open beta and let people interact with it.
6. Everyone says "ugh!"
7. They keep doing the work they were going to do anyhow to improve it.
8. People make reasonable and concrete suggestions to make it less bad.
9. The devs implement some of those suggestions (it really was much worse before!)
10. It goes live!
That's what it looked like to me. There was a long thread in the beta forums, very similar to this one really. And the devs really were very responsive, and they clearly made changes based directly on the feedback received during beta. Still, this is what we wound up with.
I agree that the old UI could stand to be improved, and I can understand why sometimes it's better to start over from scratch than continue to tweak a messed up jumble of code, but I wish they had done a better job with the basic design and I wish they had made the time to finish it up and polish it properly. -
Generally, you send payment to each name on the list. Then you remove the top name and add yours to the bottom. In real life, you must write a note saying "Add me to your list" to get around the loopholes in the US Postal Code.
In real life, I got one of these letters in the late 80s/early 90s. I was young and in a bad spot, so I fell for it. I know 6 people got paid and then I got fruitless exercise on my way to the mailbox for a year.
The biggest issue is:
Why not just copy the letter, but put your name in each spot that you have an account and then add your friends in above it? Then just send out your version to whoever you can.
That's generally what happens and all we end up with is junk mail.
All in all, if this type of thing starts, it will snowball. It's bad enough that we have to endure xingxangxong pestering us with "we grow you big monies give credit card we give you gold" bull^%$. If players start doing this, I hope they PermaBan anyone who touches one of these letters and forwards it. -

As long as you have not previously applied an Architect Edition retail code to your account, then Yes, you will get the Free Time and perks. I've seen Architect Edition for as little as $9.99 USD, so yes it would be financially beneficial to do this.

Depending on my schedule, I'd like to join in on some of these. I am usually available on Fridays, unless something pops up.
I can bring Domestic Battery, my Elec/Elec Brute.
