I love the autumn aura but it has nothing to do with autumn (at least, as far as I can tell, the leaves are growing, right?). Change the name to the spring aura or the verdant aura.

I am very happy about the pacing of the store so far. I was hoping my initial investment of $30 at Freedom launch (+monthly stipend) would last until around Christmas time. At this rate, it just might. I buy almost every costume piece (minus fireperson's hat and school backpack) and powerset, but little else (I did buy 1 extra costume slot, mostly to have more available at lower levels).

Z, I am asking if there is any reason that we should expect customer service to be more responsive as of today than they were when dealing with issues a week or so ago? If costumer service does have the power to look at account logs and determine this issue with precision, they haven't been doing so thus far.

Because further posts may confuse more than explain, we're advising those who feel that their Paragon Reward Token status, Paragon Point status or Server Transfer token status is inaccurate to please file a Customer Support appeal either in game (include the words "Paragon Reward Token" in the subject line) or through email by visiting https://support.cityofheroes.com. The Customer Service team has access to your individual records and will be able to review them for accuracy and concisely explain when you should receive all of your VIP benefits on a monthly basis.

Of me and the 3 people i play with, 2 of us have gotten 2 tokes since freedom launch, 2 of us have gotten only one (as far as I know, everyone got one in october). -

Costume Codes are not expected to be worthwhile to the general playerbase. They are there to satisfy the few who want them. In fact, they probably don't most players running wearing these (and I don't either).

Which somewhat sucks, as I don't know *until* then if I've actually run that on any specific character without digging through badges or powers. Just got that on one I was fairly sure I *had* run the morality missions on.

The alpha slot is still my favorite, since it really defines my characters and reaffirms what I like best able them. Can't wait to see more options!

Not sure whether this is just an issue of server load or what, but lots of people commenting on the RPS news item are reporting difficulty/inability to register a new account. Sounds frustrating.

We're now getting, well, if not the worst of both worlds, then the most mediocre. Was this worth sacrificing (ahem) the CoT's classic robed cultist look?
Players want access to NPC costume pieces. The developers completely change how a faction looks, perhaps with the intention of giving players access to it as well. Dev team claims to love it, most players hate it (at least from the initial preview). Many players have come to accept it (I still think it has a worse/less interesting look than the original pieces). Then, players are given the most boring pieces from that set. In my opinion, this was a huge waste of art resources. What gives? -

Also, they said that we would get more out of our money. That will be impossible to quantify, however. Free costume sets came out every other issue or so, even before booster packs. Now we have had 2 free costume sets with an issue release and 2 for pay costume sets. Even buying 1 of them with your stipend you are getting "more out of being a VIP member". Maybe. Who knows? Without Freedom, we don't know how many people they would be able to staff and how much content they would be able to push out.
They have always said that a completionist will not be able to get everything with their stipend. -

Have you looked into any global channels? I am certain Exalted must have a global channel dedicated to people looking to team.
Turning to your original question:
I find Mace to be an excellent tanker powerset due to some good single and small group attacks. You could go a sturdy route with most primaries, or take a more offensive approach with either shield or fire.
Scrappers and Brutes are a good option as well. Either should be able to solo fairly easily after single origins (level 22). Perhaps avoid shield on brute (it's upsides are more evident on either scrappers or tanks). That said, I have a 50 axe/shield brute which I am completely happy with.
Reflexes isn't squishy, just give it time to develop. Notice that AoE attacks will be your bane until a relatively high level (which would be less true on a tank). Willpower takes forever, in my opinion, to blossom since it lacks a self-heal. On the contrary, fire is great at low levels and becomes a deathfest in the 30s. -

My Kid's account was reactivated as a premium account last week. I would not want to play as a low reward premium. The VIP is a far better deal if you are under t7 rewards. He did a respec and lost all of his IOs, and is now begging for me to get him an IO license. I am pretty sure after that he will ask me to replace all of his lost common IOs.

This thread has gotten crazy.
Freedom changes nothing for people who abide by the expectation printed on every game box, that you have to pay an ongoing subscription to access content.
Nothing on the box means anything if you don't maintain a sub.
