    There isn't enough information in that request, but assuming every power including the Elude is 3 slotted with even level SOs.

    Elude Defence = 45% * 1.56 = 70.2%
    Head Splitter Accuracy = 100% * 1.9493 = 194.93%
    Tactics ToHit Buff = 10% * 1.56 = 15.6%

    Chance of hitting in PvP:

    MinMax(MinMax(50% + 15.6% - 70.2%) * 194.93%) = 9.75%

    with a 50% accuracy buff:

    MinMax(MinMax(50% + 15.6% - 70.2%) * 194.93% * 150%) = 14.62%

    Simply to your base accuracy, add all your tohit buffs, take away your targets defence, then min/max it between 5% and 95%. Then multiply by the powers accuracy (normally 100%), then 1+enhancements, and then each 1+accuracy buffs you might have in turn. Finally min/max the whole lot again.

    Since when?

    rage overlaps, but the effects do NOT stack. And you still end up with the 10 second downtime.

  9. well played the opposition in tonights fight! You guys just seemed upwardly more mobile than we did, and without our lovely epics we couldn't slow you down !

    Could have done with taunt to help poor kaya who was picked on from the off!

  11. Some true points there Shannon, but i dont think it is necessary to live 24/7 in granite. Only against the nastiest foes should it be used imo. On my brute i find the RA/SS combo more than effective. Only use Granite as a panick button/pre AV fight.

    Also, prob on my build, taunt needs acc in it! So 2 acc 2 rch.

    I said taunt, mudpots AND foot stomp all taunt slotted is slight overkill because it is just not needed as the taunt/punchvoke combo should hold almost anyones attention.
  12. oh and from i7 taunt needs Acc. As a PvE only tank i would recommend slotting a minimum of 2Acc 1rch 1 taunt if you fancy perma holding Av aggro.

    1) Invul tanks ARE great in pvp. Unyeilding gives them a huge advantage over fire etc. In fact they are one of the best pvp tanks period.
    2) badly thought out - Eh? It was a huge undertaking to introduce pvp into a pve only game. PvP in coh is very much rock paper scissors, as it should be, so all in all they have done very well cosidering. PvP in CoH is better than almost any other mmorpg.
    3) Pointless - Having fun with friends, organising and working on builds together, coming up with build concepts and tactics, and regularly playing against other very competant players as well as giving advice to new comers. Oh and the French recieved ipods for their participation in the pvp competition, hardly pointless.
    4)bolt-on- yep, i4 i believe. As i7 would be considered the latest 'bolt-on'.
    5)ego-stroking- Well i admit, some players really are big-headed about it all, and this is sad. However defeating a quality team is enjoyable, as is beating any challenging thing in day to day life.
    6)lamer justifying- Yup a few of these too, but they reside in pve teams too ( hollows pick up teams anyone? )
    7)Griefing device- Anyone feeling particularly griefed can leave what they are doing.

    I normally wouldn't reply to this, but it was such a pointless statement you made, i felt the need to. In future may i recommend you just put,'this is a PvE build only' into your guide?

    Everyone is entitled to opinion, and personally i find pvp one of the truly remaining challenges in this game, however you wont find me saying,'oh pve is just soo repetative, it must be only enjoyed by suxorz lamers..' on forum where everybody will read about it.

    A few points..
    1) Rage does not stack and therefore does not need 3 rchred in it.
    2) Put three two hit buffs instead in rage.
    3) Mud pots could do with three 3 end red in it.
    4) Rage ( even 3 slotted with TH buffs ) and only one Acc engh in your powers is going to make you miss a bit in PvE, and miss a LOT in PvP.
    5) Hurl is your -fly. If you want to pvp with it you want it 2acc 3range minimum.
    6) Foot stomp and mudpot and taunt - bit of overkill
    7) PvP only - Hand clap is a great squishy stunner.
    8) Not too sure on the medicine pool given youve taken granite. You already have a dull pain in EE.

    DmgRes refers to thye type of enhancement placed in the slot, in this case damage resistance. The numbers are what level you chose to place the slot in the power.

    Well may i suggest that we dont all go in at once this week? Due to the fact there is only one round being played, could we spread the matches out a little? It would give any late comers a little time to show, and the rest of us a chance to watch the others play. There are a lot of matches i really want to see here

    PvP Scrapper

    OK, heres my take

    First off, MOG is NOT useless in pvp.

    Yes it does drop your HP if you have loads of health remaining. However, facing Blue Freezer the other day highlighted the following fact: Use it when your about dead. If dull pain is still running, it will actually heal you into the orange, and having a huge def/res bonus when that happens turns you from deffo dead, to less deffo dead

    Also mog is great vs Kin, great vs Hurricane, and great vs bubblers.

    Second point. I haven't taken FA and i never ( well the 5% thing ) miss in PvP, as all my attacks are 3acc slotted and i run tactics. I dont need conserve power ( regen ), and the other two powers are just add ons. Who cares about seeing stalkers? As a scrapper in the arena your only target should be the squishies, unless youve killed them all on a large map, and have spare time to beat on a brute/tank/scrapper.
    Both the darkness mastery and weapons mastery have their very useful advantages in pvp. Darkness can hold/immob a squishy for long enough for you to kill them, and weopons has -fly -rch and a slow.
