What's the deal with the Shivans? What happened to the heroes of Operation Vishnu?
-
Paragon City Search and Rescue on Infinity lost Pure Empathy in March of this year. I don't know her personally, as she had stopped playing by the time I had joined the group, so I don't have much information on her. I've asked some of the other PCSARs if they have more info and given them the link to this thread.
This is a lovely idea, and I can't wait to see the finished product. -

I'm so glad this was finally announced! I've been going insane wanting to tell my friends since I got word. I love all the entries and I'm amazed one of mine was picked!

Okay, here's my attempt.
I made a variation on the first (black-white-gold) costume. I decided to emphasize the tech look, with an armoured chest/back piece that could hold a power generator, which would enhance Memphis Bill's strength through the mechanical exoskeletons on his arms. The gloves and shoulders also have vents to generate the nanites for his dark armour. Or something.

Okay, I've designed a costume but now apparently I have a silly question. I can't figure out how to attach images to the post. The FAQ states that there should be a button labelled "Manage Attachments" when I reply (not quick reply) to a post but there isn't one. I don't spend a lot of time on the forums and this is the first time I've tried to attach an image. Can I actually upload an image from my computer as the FAQ states, or do I need to host it somewhere and insert it manually? Thanks!

I'm getting errors opening the files too. I'm using Photoshop CS5.
H_LoadingScreen_1: "Could not open your request because an unexpected end-of-file was encountered."
H_LoadingScreen_2: "Could not complete your request because the file is not compatible with this version of Photoshop."
H_LoadingScreen_3: Opens, but some of the frames have discoloured pixels.
HAZARD_LoadingScreen: Opens, but some of the frames have discoloured pixels.
All three villain screens seem to open fine. -
I agree. I'm not sure why it was changed back.

Tin Mage's letter actually made my breath catch. These were wonderful. I can't wait to see what comes of them.

Wow, that was so neat! Entertaining, well-written, and very unique. Good job!

Kabuki Korematsu, the Mystic Warrior!

Hee I was going to do a katana toon too! I even started working on one last night but couldn't get it to look right. I guess I'll try something different now! (And hey, get out of my brain, you!)

Sera - IMO I thought you had this one in the bag, but maybe that's because I love me some techy toons.
[/ QUOTE ]
Aww thank you! I don't usually make techy toons, so I thought I'd try something completely different than my norm. I'm really enjoying this thread and seeing the creative ideas everyone comes up with. -

Here we have an eclectic combination of costume pieces that works well in this scheme. Id lose the reticle. The hair cuts into it, and it also interferes with the slash across the face. On the other hand, I love the way the Exoproto pattern lines up with the tribal markings on the boots! Was that a happy accident or did you plan it that way?

Happy accident. And yeah, I agree with you on the reticle, but I was too lazy to change it after I had posted. Thanks for your feedback, and I look forward to trying the new palette!

Awesome comic - great job! I laughed so hard my boyfriend gave me strange looks on several different occasions. My character even made it in to two frames (in the original Midnight Squad). It's so awesome to see her in there!

Here's the new palette
Entries are due Sat. the 24th.

This looks like fun! Here's my entry, Sound Shield (tech defender, force field/sonic). Her force fields are generated by her gloves, and she's had her vocal cords enhanced to produce her sonic effects.

I've been trying for two hours to get on, with no luck. It's frustrating, since I doubt I'll be available tomorrow and was really looking forward to seeing everyone's costumes and hopefully at least a few people would enjoy mine.
