heal decay is activated after 8 seconds. So with a base recharge of 20 seconds, you really want recharge.
3 heal 2 rech 1 interupt
or
2 heal 1 heal/end (doctored wounds or something) 2 rech 1 interupt -
Also, there is no proof that the people inside the base are him. For all we know they could be really really patient friends who use teamwork. That's one reason you can't really report him.
-
haha my blaster has gotten 3 shot by darth. Now i just team with him :P easy money and pvp recipes
-
yea i think they were playing a joke on you. DB is fail, and dark is fail. Also, fire for scrappers isn't that good because u need a lot of health so u don't get killed before using healing flames.
-
Is there any reason to pick MA for duels in arena? Or is it underpowered and not worth it? Anyway tips or tricks to make it better?
-
Aside from that, /Dark doesn't suck. They just changed it so it would be more on par with the others.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laws_of_war
That's what we have, Laws of War, but some of you arn't following them. -
Life didn't have rules, but the civil people made rules themselves and set people to enforce them. Now look who's successful. The people with rules. In PVP there are no police to, well, police the rules we have set in. But that doesn't mean the rules don't exist. You could say there are no rules in a PVP zone, you could also say their are no rules in life because the rules we have were just made up by people. Basically it's sad that most of CoH, or atleast most on the forums are uncivil and break the rules (made by the people) because there is no way to enforce them. Of course in Life you need to be 18 to vote, that's probably why CoH PVP isn't civil.
The police are made up by people. So the police in the game should be made up of regular people. The only problem is that one side outweighs the other. The people mature enough to have rules are less in number then the people who are unmature enough to not follow any rules.
I'd like to repeat, a Society makes rules, and we are part of the society on CoH. -
Also, what you quoted me on was just me answering his question. I think it's funny how nobody would tell him and instead just hand him their opinion of dueling in a pvp zone or laugh at him. Life has taught me that the jerks are always wrong. I only came here to help a guy with a question.
-
no i'm not Zen, but i read some of his old posts, and i have to say the man knew what he was talking about. Also, i'm just giving my opinion.
I think it's funny how u can't abide by such simple rules. If 2 guys want to see who's stronger and have a fist fight, one can't pull out a gun, and that's exactly what your trying to do. It's why your not respected. Ever wonder why night widows and arch-mages arn't allowed in tournies for gladiator matches? They want the fight to end, not just smoke grenade eachother for hours. Inspirations, temp powers and leaving the stage would make anybody survive. We turn off the invincible mode you guys are used to so we can really see who's better. -
You can't stop dueling in PVP zones. You can try yes, infact you are. But the zones are big, and there are hidden places. And why are these police officers enforcing rules that do not exist. I've yet to read that dueling in a PVP zone is against the rules or "law" as you may put it. Anything goes in a PVP zone, there are next to no rules. Dueling doesn't add rules, it adds an agreement to see who is better in a 1v1. Next thing u know your going to break into people missions and help them kill the AV they are trying to solo, haha.

Quote:Actually the duels i do, on justice, we allow accolades. They are permanent and everybody can get them. Accolades = Hard work paying off. I mean, is no purples a rule too? anybody can get those, but only those who work hard actually get them. Inspirations are understandable, i don't want a duel to last 2 hours because a tank has greens. And yea, asking for one first.[ QUOTE ]
what are the rules of lol fight club?
besides you know, dont talk about lol fight club.
[/ QUOTE ]
lolfightclub rules:
no inspir= this is to c how good ur build really is. ne 1 can win if they pop 10 reds and BU
no accolades= other than the 1s that r on auto.
u must ask for a duel b4 u attackin the duel corner= if u dont ask to duel the person u attack then u will be killed by every 1 duelin in the corner -
Hibernate is allowed in duels. Anything basically is but; temp powers, inspirations or leaving the duel area. Tier 9 adds stradegy to the match, and it can balance some sets to meet others. The only reason i duel in zones is because i dont want to have to travel to the arena and because everybody is too lazy to come follow and watch. They need to put Arena Terminals somewhere in a pvp zone. If they did, dueling in a pvp zone wouldn't exist.
As for people who hate dueling in zones, i really can't understand why. Does it bother you that two people over there are fighting? Just because you have the power interupt it doesn't mean you should. I'm not going to push someone over and walk away because i can, because frankly i'm not a jerk. If anything i'd help them fend off the gankers. Why we duel? I want to see if my character, someone i put a lot of work and effort into, can take that guy's character. -
did u slot a proc into EC? change it to focused smite acc/end/rech. it gives damage 95% and everything else 87%. best numbers i've seen for an attack.
-
i have a couple of 50 regens and i just realized i havn't matsered regen yet, it's hard to know which to use when and what to start with. WP, u leave toggles on. done
-
with pvp it's different. Regen is much better there for scrappers.
-
If i'm playing my scrapper and i'm facing a brute, do i want high DPS or high burst? I've heard for DPS i wouldn't want Eagles claw because it's not worth it. But would i want it for dueling people?
-
my stalker is em/sr and uses fly/tp/phase. he is very sucessful, nearing 400 rep in a week or 2. of course ive been spending time on my scrapper....After playing this game for a long time, not only do i have reflexes to hit phase before everyone else but i know when, usually when im out of hide because i have blind spots, and i dont want to mess up my camera to look up.
As for a "skilled player", i know it takes skill to be a bad build and make it good, but it also takes skill to be one of the best builds and still be the best, because of competition. If i'm a ss/fire brute ruling siren's with an iron first, i have skill because i can dominate fire/ss tanks, or other ss/fire brutes in arena. I dont play a ss/fire brute btw. I don't drone often, because it makes people mad and i dont get anything, of course i will web someone flying above, to teach them that it's not a safe spot. And even if they know they are taking a risk, well, they risked it, they died.
As for being droned, i don't mind at all. Why? Because i have phase, and if i'm out of hide i should phase so i'm not droned. Also, i'm a hero on my team when i TP the droner. None of my toons i can think of have SS. My blaster has SJ, because as a stalker i know jumping blasters are the hardest to get. He also has TP incase he gets webed, even travel surpessed if u spam teleport u'll go because it's hard to be perma travel surpressed.
Lastly, again about droning, i see it as a defense. When one side (usually villains) push the heroes to their limit, the heroes get some power. They can instantly kill almost any villain, making them low health (have to rest) and far away (takes a min to get back). Aside from that they also get the power to come back quickly because villains are at their hospital. -
Hello, i was wondering what made someone hit the highest DPS they could achieve. Would it mean hitting Eagles claw everytime it's up? or does it mean hitting Thunder kick as much as you can and filling the spots with EC and crane kick? I'm actually looking for a chain for pvp, but a DPS question isn't quite a pvp question. Should i even use Eagles claw? it's animation is close to 3 seconds, even if it's damage is the highest, and it can critical now and then for a huge burst. I'm just wondering how exactly an attack chain is made.
-
yea your right, i should consult the experts. i'll be on the scrapper forum.

no, i'm aware people think SS is the only choice, i know it isn't. So i'm asking for another primary/secondary i can use.
-
i'm aware of it....or atleast im aware that people say it is. Really i have played and seen both, i don't see that much of a difference. also, i have an SS.

I'm making a brute to duel with in the arena, with no DR/TS/heal decay. i know my secondary, invul, but i need a primary. i heard fire and stone do the most DPS wise, but i'm not sure that was in pvp mode. Any suggestions would help.
