Quote:Truth. Watch Pirates of the Caribbean and then Sleepy Hollow and try to tell me that Jack Sparrow and Ichabod Crane are the same character. They're very much... not. Toss in Ed Wood and Fear and Loathing in Los Vegas into the mix and you'll find that once again, yes while most of Depp's roles are eccentric personalities, they're not the same kind of eccentric.I think Depp is a really good actor. While one may not like a specific characterization and not like that many are eccentric... at least they are not the same eccentricity.
Furthermore, Depp is was named 2010's highest paid actor. That's something. -
Quote:In any case, the Power Loyalist is still placated, and since there's a 90% chance he's remained a villain through his 20 - 50 career, he hasn't run the Jenkins arc. Loyalty to Cole may still well be his prerogative.Considering another souped-up Cole-clone shows up in Maria Jenkins' new arc, Tyrant seems to have gotten over that concern in the 30 levels since then. I think part of his deal at the end of the Power arc was that smiting you right then and there would've been a sub-optimal PR move, so he just sort of placates you, then leans over and whispers to Neuron a little "do not **** things up that badly again."

Quote:Something where villains can frustrate both the efforts of the heroes and Cole would be nice as well.I really hope that's not what they're going to pass of as "villainous" content. He'd be worse to work under than Recluse. Mostly because he'd be harder to work around.
Now it would be cool if they added a story arc where you can help Cole, but you're only doing it to undermine his efforts from the inside. Then they can use the branching options to allow you to turn on him at the last minute, or to allow Loyalist players to stay loyal. That way they'd have an arc for former Loyalists that everyone else can also do, villains and rogues get to be underhanded jerks, and heroes have to do vigilante things. Since villains have to do Rogue things in all the other co-op content, it's only fair. -

Hopefully there'll be strike forces for old die-hard Loyalists which involve helping Cole's invasion efforts.

I can only hope they add challenging opponents for Incarnates to fight once all of this is finished, like oh... the legendary Battalion.

Meh. You pretty much listed the only things origin does do. Why fix something that's not broke?

Huh, I guess Blood_Beret was right about that "grid" thing. It just looked so funny as I'm used to seeing more obvious missile launchers like on a Farragut.

Quote:Well maybe you do need to "lrn2ply" as the first time I went through it was a success. And it was a PuG too to boot! There's nothing wrong with difficult content. What I take issue with is when people pretend that difficult content isn't difficult and that people who can't seem to beat it are somehow stupid or inferior. Hence, "lrn2ply" and "rtfm."
I dislike the Statesman and Recluse TFs, as well as the Tin Mage and Apex TFs, because they are difficult. When I state my reason for not doing them, however, I'm usually told that they're not difficult at all and I'm just not trying hard enough. I tend to then tell people to go to hell.
*edit*
And, thanks, but I'm not sure I want American police where I live. -
It doesn't look armed enough to even qualify as a destroyer. I only count one gun there.

Jusa grammar nitpick, but the word is "SINCE." "Sense" is an ability that allows us to perceive the world, such as sight, hearing, taste, touch, and smell. "Sense" is also the ability to make sound decisions. "Since;" however, implies a passage of time.
Also, yeah... I've reported that bug a couple times myself. It's annoying, but it isn't as irritating as the elevator bug was as this mostly occurs in places where I don't need my pets.
Although there is that occasional outside instance.... -
It didn't even get to be stillborn; it was aborted.
