You are aware that the original, mythical Thor also had a hammer and was the god of thunder, right? Right?

Quote:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nike_%28mythology%29Not even that - it's simply the Greek word for "victory", making it a logical name for a brand of athletic shoes/clothing.

Quote:Trust me, season 7 still has the charm. I've enjoyed it just as much as the previous seasons. And Supernatural is an example of that I think. I gather season 5 was the originally planned stopping point for the show, and while I more or less enjoyed season 6 (haven't seen 7 yet, stupid UK tv) there's definitely a part of me that thinks they should maybe have called it a day after 5, ended on a high note so to speak.
(but Supernatural is definitely worth checking out, it's a lot of fun) -
I quit when I got the last of the elemental costume pieces. Since I'm almost Tier 9, any future packs will be acquired through tokens.

You can't copyright centuries old mythology.

So, to append my previous post of names, I just grabbed Evisceratress on Virtue the other day.

Oh look, another stance animation issue.

Or bizarre comments like "Hey, who ate all of the jelly donuts with [TEXT STRING ERROR!]"

Perhaps, but I'm not counting just game forums in my own assessment. I've been in communities that were even more acidic than... that other game's forums and others that put this forum's alleged "niceness" to absolute shame. On a general scale of 1 - 10, 1 being the most pleasant and 10 being the most toxic, the CoH boards get a 7.

Quote:I've been on some extremely toxic forum communities, and some very friendly ones. I'd say Tenzhi's assessment is very much correct. There's significant room for improvement in this forum's civility department.Which is a bit like saying "The Safest Swimming Pool Full of Double Edged Razor Blades you'll ever swim in"...

Quote:Well, from what I've read in this thread, people were going to the trainer (instead of the respec contact—which is a bad idea all on its own anyway) to get their new slots and were losing their purples, so the confusion is over how would a 49 - 50 would cause the loss of purples when you need to be 50 in the first place to get and slot said purples. How would adding the 3 new slots to level 50 NOt cause the same problems that adding the slots to 25-29 caused?
For existing 50s, just have the option of trainers disable and require the respec to get the new slots. -
Quote:Wouldn't work - Very Rare IOs REQUIRE you to be level 50 - not 49 but enough exp to go level up at the trainer, you must level up at the trainer FIRST. If new slots are added to 50, it means you aren't qualified to have Very Rare IOs and thus would lose them.Quote:What does this even mean????
Zyphoid said, essentially:
"We currently get 3 slots when we hit 50. We should get 6 slots instead. It makes hitting 50 pretty cool."
In order to get the three extra slots, you'd probably have to respec into them; ala legacy Pool Fitness requires you to respec into Inherent Fitness.
What the HECK does that have to do with slotting purples? -
"Allusions to lesser wizards" isn't really evidence enough to call the Istari "not wizards." Hell, Istari is only elvish for "wise ones" which is pretty much the historical meaning of "wizard" anyway (wiz- is from wys which is "wise" in modern English).
-
Then I suppose you'd be even more puzzled if they were both depicted as futanari.
-
Yes, yes, and Pallando and Atari wandered off somewhere. My point is that they're the only beings in the whole saga and background material that are ever even called "Wizards."
-
So... "Screw the setup and jump in now now now?" Well, I suppose not doing that was what did in Babylon 5: Crusade and Jericho so you might have a point, but I don't think it's a very good one, mind you.
