Did the arc as a 22 DS/DM MM earlier and boy was a i surprised. I chose x4 thinking it would give me a challenge solo, turns out it was more of a debt and suicide fest. Twice i tried attacking as normal, pets first then me debuffing and healing, that didn't work out so well.

Third time was the charm. Me first so i got the debuffs and aggro then ran like a little girl hiding behind corners so my pets didn't get the either. Full aggro eventually switched to the pets but luckily 2 were dead by that point.

Just curious if any of you folks are now on the US servers? Most of you (probably all) won't remember me but i've noticed a couple of names in this section that i recognise.

I used to keep a US account running alongside my EU ones when i played and decided to reactivate that one instead of the EU's at the weekend for population reasons, but it would be grand to get with some EU folks when playing. Characters i played most back then were Kabaal (Emp def and beloved first toon, not counting a deleted blaster who preceded him), Be-elzebub (DM/Regen Scrapper) both on Defiant my original home, and Zep (Spines/Regen Scrapper) on Onion that despite my misgivings of the smell over there AoW made feel welcome, and supplied the appropriate nose plug . Those toons are from a looong time ago.

Avast, Antivir and AVG are probably the three best free ones. Out of the three Avast is the better one.

The whole concept of the thread seems to be "more is better". Being someone who has came back to the game and not really played since 2 years after release, not only does the holding cap seem astronomically high but so is the cap on on auction items and in general auction prices.

Luckily i have a couple of old friends in the game who helped me out, but the market in this game has to be off putting to say the least for anyone new to the game. And yet, people want caps to be raised?

Anyone have any suggestions of how to store stuff while the AH is down? I'm a returning player and haven't played since the first 2 years of the game so no SG storage.

The only option i can think of sending bit by bit in the mail and storing them on alts.

I can run ultra mode with all the bells & whistles, but for such a small improvement in the graphics i'm finding that it's not worth the performance hit. That and frame rates becoming unplayable with AA & AO on at the same time. It really should be running much much better on new hardware than it does considering the graphics are still mostly dated even with everything on.

I can't say i'm overly impressed with what they've done.

The small QOL improvements like email and the auction are great, alongside the new email system. My favourite part has to be the new story arcs, although i haven't tried the hero one yet i loved the villain one.

I'm curious why people are choosing hell on earth as soon as it's available, it has a 10 minute cooldown and seems like it would be a bit of a waste until you can get some decent recharge slotted.

I cant seem to make my mind up. I just deleted a level 6 DS/DM as i don't fancy levelling another toon with that set again, that and half the folks who would have made the new MM's today would have went dark.

I'm thinking thermal as it fits thematically, but again, every man and their dog is going to have gone that route. Decisions decisions

I might as well post it here seeing as it's live and no longer open beta.

I have all the Ultra settings available to me and they all work fine (albeit need a little tweaking to get decent fps), but for some reason Shader Quality is now greyed out for me.

Does anyone know the reason for this or if there is a fix? I've tried turning a few things on and off to see if it will become available again but as yet nothing.

Using an Ati 4850 GPU.

Nah, it's only a small file and 280ish kb/s is plenty, only takes a couple of minutes.
