Statesman (from Statesman's Strike!) had, in addition to Super Strength and Invulnerability, another pool called Electric Mastery. It had Charged Bolts, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Ball and I think Zapp.

Lore-wise, it was explained to me that the Well of the Furies enhanced what Marcus Cole and Stefan Richter already had (gave them Fitness and super hearing AFAIK), and opening "the Box" gave them the power of gods.

So it seems like a normal archetype with inherent fitness and earlier EPP's, to put it simply.

In about an hour I got absolutely no vampires or bosses, and only 3 event salvage, all Hamidon. Considering it's eleven days or so, that's fair I suppose. The costumes, trick vs. treat, and door timer are very nice.

Meh. I can't go either way on it. Super Reflexes for example was a "defense/speed specialist" and created a vacuum. Ninjutsu was given a sprinkle of everything and turned out PvP FoTM.

No. Think of the Pillar of Ice and Flame as another contact entirely. You get the missions from it, not your other contacts. You get the flashback mission from the Pillar itself, hence not requiring original introduction to the contact and the lack of a change in your contact friendship meter.

Issue Eleven took all the other issues combined, dragged them out back, beat them up, tossed them in a dumpster, set the dumpster on fire, froze them with a capsule of liquid nitrogen, put them on a flight to Paris, took them up the Eiffel Tower, and threw them out the window.

They're the only two powersets signature to Brutes. Electric Armor would also be weak as a Tanker set, and Electric Melee would give energy damage to Scrappers.

All of those sets are pretty damn good.

Only a many ignorant people up until its recent graphics change thought sonic resonance was "useless", even less know how to play a sonic blast set appropriately.
And, while I'm not a huge fan of the kheld ATs myself, I have witnessed those sets in the hands a of a good player to bring a great team up to a freaking fabulous team.

I have to echo Sonic Blast not being gimped. It would, theoretically, be better for PvP than Fire Blast and Ice Blast were it not for Power Boost enhancing slows and Shout's 3 second animation. Perma cone sleep right out of the box, Mag 3 Stun nuke...come on guys.
Ditto for Mastermind Thugs, Electric Melee, and Electric Armor.
Sonic Resonance, Stalker Dark Melee/Armor and Archery are rough around the edges, but from what I've seen/played they roll with the big dogs at best, are fair at worst.

Trick Arrow is the only introduced powerset I would say requires more than a touch-up.

I'm worried that this is going to bring more harm than good. There are certain posters, making it a point to leave the CoV discussion alone, that I find repulsive.

However, I won't oppose a merge. Clutter in my villain-thread-viewing isn't that big a deal in the scheme of things, and this merge has to be done. (Also, merge the markets kthxbai.)
