As a stauch non-PvP'er, it would be nice if you could walk into any zone and explore it as you like it, but that's not the way the game is any more (and hasn't been since Issue 6).
[/ QUOTE ]
Same here, I'm a staunch non-PvPer and would love to explore the PvP zones or do missions there without being attacked.
But then again I'm realistic about the situation. -
You don't get the point of PvP zones really, do you?
Being ganked/attacked by other players is all part of the risk of being in a PvP zone.
If you want to be in there, for whatever reason, then your presence implies your acceptance of these risks.
You therefore have no right to complain. -

I was gonna ask for one of EED, but seeing that...
GL with that lot Swissy!
-
I think Swissy's nominating her suggestion for the challenge though, which was October.
Dunno if it'd even be eligible even so, would it?
I thought it had to be a piece of work to be suggested? Such as art, fiction etc. -
Heh, thanks anyway Swiss
I'm thinking of buying myself a good thick book on the CS2 version (which I've got, along with the rest of the 2nd creative suite), but it's just to get me off and running. -
Speaking of making it into a comic proper - does anyone have any good websites for Adobe Illustrator tutorials or guides?
Particularly for making comic style art, but even general sites would be good. -
There's Animation Shop, it comes with Paint Shop Pro.
I don't know if Gimp does animation, as I've never used it extensively.
I used Imageready that comes with Photoshop to do my animated EED avatar, and it's very good imo. -
Resilience is good for the -dis after using an awaken, but you'd get more use atm out of Hasten though.

Looks like the council missed the bins again this week
[/ QUOTE ]
I believe the term is "lmao" ..... hehehe.
Brilliant.
Another great issue! - Got any of those great comedy gems on binds?
[/ QUOTE ]
Binds?
BINDS?
Hell no, I think most of the dialogue up on the spot - particularly that line as I noticed the mess outside the tailors as I was writing the text for that panel.
For some reason binds are something I haven't had EED use at all tbh - have plenty on my scrapper, but not with EED thus far. -
Thanks guys

Keep up the good work....or upgrade to a better kind of work! (but keep EED, he's hilarious)

Oh EED is staying
And I have plans to do a "proper" comic with him, a la Penny Arcade, which would give me a hell of a lot more freedom in what I can do scenario-wise.
I've recently installed Adobe Illustrator (yay for cheap deals for being a mature student!), so I'll be trying out some stuff beforehand using it to see how it looks...
At the moment it's taking about 4 to 5 hours per strip, which includes:
Getting the screenshots.
Laying them out in Photoshop.
Adding the text & boxes/balloons.
So I may as well put that time into doing a proper comic strip...
But like I said there are things about Illustrator to be learnt beforehand as I've never used a Vector drawing program before, and I hate using the pen tool in PS - doh!
But Illustrator gives nice clean strokes, which is the look I like for comic art. -
Well for image making there's the Gimp: http://gimp.org
It's comparable to Photoshop in many ways, but doesn't have the elegance of PS's front end/UI. It is completely free though
As for image hosting, there's always the usual suspects: www.imageshack.us & www.photobucket.com, both of which are totally free & gratis as well -
Oh! And I've updated the site to reflect the release of I4
-
[ QUOTE ]
nice one xD LR spam mail lol
maybe you shud put up numbers or arrows from pic to pic, i get confused sometimes trying to find the next picture..
[/ QUOTE ]
Something to bear in mind, although I do usually try to sequence the strip so it's obvious where to go.
I've amended slightly the sequence I think may have been the problem, and stuck in some directional arrows to help the flow -

my fravourite one yet
How come on the mail section it is Thunder bird? lol
[/ QUOTE ]
Because EED has taste -
Ok, issue 4 is done.
In a rush so I'll fix up the site tomorrow, so here's the direct link:

Indeed I was
I've been impressed with Grounded as well, because I've yet to be KB'd once in the 4 levels since I took it (I took it late :P ).
Hell, I only picked up Conductive shield last night when I hit 30 -
Thanks
I'll try!
I've already got this week's storyboarded (I'm storyboarding! OMG!) and planned, so not like last week then which was done off the cuff.

Yep, anything approaching sex will get ban hammered quicker than Gary Glitter.
-
Eep!
Man I wish I could draw.
;( -
Beautiful as usual Swissy
How long does it take you to do one of those drawings?
The one of Lem for example?
