Something to bear in mind, although I do usually try to sequence the strip so it's obvious where to go.

I've amended slightly the sequence I think may have been the problem, and stuck in some directional arrows to help the flow

Oh! And I've updated the site to reflect the release of I4

You're hilarious, ya know that?
I demand more! For great justice!
Keep up the good work....or upgrade to a better kind of work! (but keep EED, he's hilarious)

Oh EED is staying

And I have plans to do a "proper" comic with him, a la Penny Arcade, which would give me a hell of a lot more freedom in what I can do scenario-wise.

I've recently installed Adobe Illustrator (yay for cheap deals for being a mature student!), so I'll be trying out some stuff beforehand using it to see how it looks...

At the moment it's taking about 4 to 5 hours per strip, which includes:

Getting the screenshots.
Laying them out in Photoshop.
Adding the text & boxes/balloons.

So I may as well put that time into doing a proper comic strip...

But like I said there are things about Illustrator to be learnt beforehand as I've never used a Vector drawing program before, and I hate using the pen tool in PS - doh!

But Illustrator gives nice clean strokes, which is the look I like for comic art.

Looks like the council missed the bins again this week

I believe the term is "lmao" ..... hehehe.

Brilliant.
Another great issue! - Got any of those great comedy gems on binds?

Now that's a pretty big explosion - lucky we have a cap of 16 on the AoE things now ... unless of course you are one of those 16

Another excellent issue - great fun - I'm Rhinoxx and I approve of this comic!

Binds?

BINDS?

Hell no, I think most of the dialogue up on the spot - particularly that line as I noticed the mess outside the tailors as I was writing the text for that panel.

For some reason binds are something I haven't had EED use at all tbh - have plenty on my scrapper, but not with EED thus far.

Speaking of making it into a comic proper - does anyone have any good websites for Adobe Illustrator tutorials or guides?

Particularly for making comic style art, but even general sites would be good.

Can help you there. Your Google-fu is as good as mine. I just have this thick, very thick book on illustrator 9 somewhere in my bookshelf.. I think it's still looks new tbh...

As for the issue 4, all of the above +1

The thunderbird inbox sequence made me laugh silly ^^

Heh, thanks anyway Swiss

I'm thinking of buying myself a good thick book on the CS2 version (which I've got, along with the rest of the 2nd creative suite), but it's just to get me off and running.
