I WOULD LIKE TO START MAKING MY OWN ART BUT . . .

I would like to make my own comic & Hereo art but what exactly do i need, the software for example, i only have simple Pint & XP Home eddition software which is good for nothing tbh.
So i as wondering if there is a Comic hosting sight (FREE) & any software link's FREE of course lol, just so i can get started, i have basically writen the story & penciled a few charcter's that will feture in it, all i need is software & A Hosting sight to get going.

IF you know of anything that will help me, plz plz post Link's ect.

Well for image making there's the Gimp: http://gimp.org

It's comparable to Photoshop in many ways, but doesn't have the elegance of PS's front end/UI. It is completely free though

As for image hosting, there's always the usual suspects: www.imageshack.us & www.photobucket.com, both of which are totally free & gratis as well

I was also wondering if there was any type of animation software out there? So not only could i make a comic (will take along time), i could also make short animations of the charcters, like a frame buy frame cartoon? I don't know if it's even possible, but if any of you creative guyz know of anything, id be really greatfull for the Links ect.

There's Animation Shop, it comes with Paint Shop Pro.

I don't know if Gimp does animation, as I've never used it extensively.

I used Imageready that comes with Photoshop to do my animated EED avatar, and it's very good imo.
