    Spines...

I love spines, but I don't love the animations for Barb Swipe, Impale, and Ripper. They're not ET long but I could almost finish making a pb and j sandwich before they're done animating.

You can't spam either of those two, dull pain with a good build is up every 2 mins and recon is up every 20 or so seconds, if in 20 seconds you can't kill a crappy regen than you need to reconsider your tactics.

If you can't kill a Scrapper who uses Hibernate you are doing something very very wrong. Thats like shooting fish in a barrel. You're not supposed to be able to kill a Scrapper with two shots, build up + AS + a heavy hitter will be more than enough to get a Scrapper down to 60% health, that seems more than enough damage to me.
  5. You're right, you get both set bonuses while in a PvP zone.

Increase AS damage in PvP by 50%? Have you actually fought a stalker in PvP lol?
  7. Its a good effective build, I'm not sure if you'd have enough recharge run a higher chain of BB>SB>QS>BB>SB>CS

  8. I don't have any problems in PvP with my Scrappar! There are so many inexperienced people playing ranged characters its like shooting fish in a litter box.

I don't mean to be rude but you're wrong. Brutes did similar damage to scrappers before and now that their overall output has been lowered its suffice to say that Brutes do not mop the floor with scrappers.

Yes I do agree though that Brutes can encroach on Tanker's survivability.
  12. I'm going to go with Fire/Shield as well because Shield offers significantly more survivability over Fire Armor.

linking to the final conclusion since that's probably what matters.

Nvidia's finally answered the call for a card to match AMD's offerings with the GTX 460. According to HardOCP (and other reviews that I've glanced through) it basically does what the RadeonHD 3x00 series did for the RadeonHD 2x00 series: turn a dog into something you'd want to spend money on.

As an added bonus, the GTX 460 has an MSRP of $199, which puts it $30 less than the Average Selling Price RadeonHD 5830 it can match. It also overclocks better than the 5830...

I see just one slight issue... The ATi RadeonHD 5850 and 5870 were both supposed to launch at far lower price-points than they actually did... and it's been hinted AMD's board partners could sell the 5850 for $200 and still make a profit.

Hopefully then the Geforce GTX 460 will see what gamers have been asking for since... well... January actually: something that will force board prices down across the board. From what I've seen so far, Nvidia's finally gotten back into the game.
Aww now I'm going to have to put off buying the HD5850

  15. Your best bet would Fire/Energy or Fire/MM or Archery/Energy or Archery/MM with capped ranged defense. You'll be able to reach your defense cap depending on the ios you get around level 35ish.

  17. If you want to solo AVs you're going to need to drastically change your build, without Shadow Meld you're at 26% defense to all positions. In the amount of time it takes for SM to recharge you could be killed very quickly by an AV.

From my understanding, taking Quick Strike is beneficial to building your Power Siphon buff. If I were to build a KM/Shield, it'd look something like this.

  18. I'd image it to be or close to it.
  19. Well that is lame, so I'd be better off just buying a better graphics card then getting two of the same?
  20. I really hope my math is wrong, dear God that is an insane amount of time to get one recipe. That is worse than day jobs.

Its bad when you want to buy a PvP recipe that costs 30 HVM, if my math is right it will take you 25 days in order for you to get one.
