  1. Is there a place I can view all the custom broad swords and shields and the requirements to get them?
  2. I have goals for this toon, but I'm having a difficulty maximizing my slots/bonuses.

    I want to keep M/R/AE at 45%.. but I feel I'm using too much slots for it? I know there's gotta be some sets I can get that wont req 6slotting everything but I'm not that familiar with the available IOs.. I also want to 5slot Fireblast and 6slot Fireball.. I also want more ddr but don't want to pick up GC for it.. here's what I have planned.. I just hit 49 and am about to respec but want to make sure I min/max my goals.

  3. New to blasters and I was curious about hoverblasting. Can any powerset hoverblast or Whichpowersets are more tailored to it? I remember one of the secondaries have a boost range. Would that be a mandatory thing? And it would make sense to shoot for just ranged def from IOs.

    Just curious because I think this would be a fun project as I play and only have 50s as a tank brute scrap and mm

    I have an ice/cold that I'm about to start pumping IOs into. And b4 I do. I just wanted to know if it's worth shooting for 45% S/L defense for ultimate survivability whether it's solo or teamed or would it serve better to maybe go for 32.5+inspirations?
  5. Filcher was on point about everything. The fact that OWTS was rated more useful than shield charge reduced this guide to rubbish.


    No offense, but please take this misleading guide down or revise it. =\
  6. If you refuse to use IOs for bonuses or frankenslotting purposes.. Your atk chain will consist of basically waiting for FS FB and Burn to come back. Which severely hurts your speed.

    If it's a pure farmer like you say.. Temp protect is severely overslotted. I'd recommend maybe just 1 res/def unique there.

    Tough isn't needed to be slotted at all since PURE farmers only need fire res/def. Don't even toggle it on since it's worthless on ur fire farm.

    Put tohits in rage and remove them from tactics.. Don't even slot tactics either since you have rage on at all times anyways.

    Consume doesn't need 3 enemies either.. On a +8 ambush farm there will always be bodies.. Drop assault and grab vengeance instead. This will make you cap def anyway if you bring a lowbie and let him die.

    Cj doesn't need he acc+ unique if u slot rage with tohits anyway.

    Rotp wouldn't be there because if u die on a fire farm. You deserve to die irl because that shouldn't happen.

    +stealth on a farmer.. Wth?

    And pick up haymaker and kob to finish the bosses. With no recharge in your build or St attacks it'll take you 30 yrs to kill a +4 boss.

  9. First time scrapper.. Hes currently 26 and the only thing I've skipped was confront and hack... And I took everything else for shield.

    Just curious if there were any skippable powers that don't add to much towards DMG or survival.

    K.. cool.. I'm a bindnoob.. so that is extra beautiful..

    I'm a keyboard user.. so it's easier to use the numpads instead of shift+x for the combos.. thanks a bunch Fanny
  13. Is there a way to just bind all the powers into the numpads? So I can just press 1-2-3 for combo 1.. 4-5-6 for combo 2 etc??

  18. Ok.. Nemo.. so we both know Elec's are favored for PvE.. and we know AoE attacks own the PvE game.. so I tried my best to work around all of the AoE attacks an Elec/Elec/Mu offers..

  23. Can you help me out with a Ninja/Ta for PvP purposes? I'm using this guide as a basis, alongside my own personal play experiences with MMs. I've only had a Bots/Dark, Bots/FF.. Not sure if you PvP extensively with Nin/Ta.. but I would like to hear your opinions and slotting (disregarding PvE)

    As for slotting, I put End Reducers into my attacks early, and then toggles later in the build, when I had many more to spare, and that held me just fine until Power Sink came around. Best to slot Charged and Conductive Shield for resistance early, but psychic damage isn't prevelant enough that you can't wait to slot it up until higher levels. You can stick and End Reducer in that one if you want, early on.

    I'd go for Stamina, without question, especially since you've already expressed concerns with the amount of Endurance you're using. I couldn't find room in my build for Aid Self until the 40s, and I generally did okay with that. Aid Self is really more of a utility power to get back to full health between battles. If enemies are hitting you hard and fast enough to get past your resistances, than they're also hitting hard and fast enough to break Aid Self, even with Interrupt Reducers.

    Once I got it, I slotted Aid Self for 3 heals, 1 recharge, and 2 interrupt. As stated above, it still doesn't work perfectly mid-combat, but sometimes you've got nothing to lose anyway. As for Aid Other...I didn't take it, and unless you're going for the healing badges or the like, I really wouldn't recommend it. Take Stimulant instead, as it doesn't really require slotting to help out your squishier teammates.

  25. Can you please post up your build for this .. this build has helped me so far in understanding the powers/slotting, but I'm a bit lost in knowing when to pick powers and which one is more necessary early on..

    The only problems I'm running into right now is trying to slot up early for my defenses and my endurance.. Keeping up the toggles cost endurance, but unslotted I'm not getting much benefit from them..
