    Normally I'd agree with you. It's a kick to confuse a Sky Raider shield generator or a Crey medic to get their buffs and heals. But with this power set combination, its superfluous. I'm finding that I'm layering so much -to hit that I don't need Possess in the build.

    I have. It prompted me to make an Ill/Rad. I also, based on your guide, made a Plant/Rad which is currently my favorite toon. And both use the confuses in their respective builds.

  2. Thanks for the input, Ketch. I took some of your advice and changed out Dark Consumption with Dark Embrace, switched the Alpha, and found a place for Heart of Darkness. However, I decided to leave Possess out of the build. I'm just not big on single target confuses.

  3. Looks good to me. But i'm only just starting to explore Dark/Dark myself. Here's what I got planned. I went D/D/Soul instead of Mace but it still has Fade, Haunt, Soul Absorption, and Hasten all perma'd as well as decent defenses.

  4. I'm currently running a Plant/Time (Slow Growth), a Plant/Rad (Vibrant Vineyard), and a Plant/Storm (Floral Tempest). All three have awesome solo and team potential. The Plant/Rad is my fave though.
  5. I've been wanting to try this combo for a while now. There's just something about a tank with two heals and two endo recovery powers that strikes my fancy. I've been fiddling with it in Mids and this is what I've come up with. I want this to be my Go to Tanker for general use. There is nothing I'm too attached to in regards to changing the build. Any suggestions are welcome.

  7. A friend of mine recently tuned me in on this power combination. I've been trying to work it out on mids to solve the huge endo consumption problem. I know at 50 it's readily solved by incarnate slotting. But until then,... any suggestions?

    Thanks for the responses. I'll play with them in Mid's and see which ones I Like more. On a more SG related note. I've added another smaller (2x2) workshop. This one is imply to place more storage. We have near the maximum that the base plot will allow. We need Pelagea (wtwall01) to set the permissions. After that, with the exceptions of the RWZ and Pocket D beacons, I declare the base to be complete. It's all gravy from there onward.

    Alrighty, I've been fiddling with the while responding to you and Legion of Legions. I like field mastery because it fits thematically. I know the knockback messes up the burn patches caused by my Assault bot but I usually have the mobs pinned in the corner to counteract that. I kept hover/flight. I worked PFF, against my own judgement, into the mix. I'll trust you guys not to steer me wrong on that. I also liked working weave into the build.

    Yeah, basically. I started this toon with survivability in mind. I do a lot of soloing since red side on Freedom is pretty empty.

    That said consider the following Resuscitate won't work on your pets so it is useless when soloing, and it is a relatively poor choice when any other rez is available. Further with all the aggro you will have that interrupt time will be a show stopper.

    Consider dropping Resuscitate and moving provoke to lvl 30. That will free up that last power selection for Force of Nature. Fill that single slot with the Gladiators Armor 3% defense. 3% "free" defense and a handy escape button for when all goes horribly wrong. You could also do the same thing with personal FF. It cuts off body guard mode but it also has no crash.

    None of my MM's are anything to write home about; so, if there is a flaw in my logic please let me know.
    Thanks for the input. I can see ditching Resuscitate and moving Provoke to 30. I mainly have it as a way to save my Assault Bot when he draws too much aggro onto himself. In it's place, I think I would prefer Force of Nature to PFF. It fits my play style better.

    Just checking in on this thread. Makes it easier for me to see. Greetings and welcome. To all who are interested in the SG, I'm on for a couple of hours everyday. My Global is Heavy Epsilon. Feel free to fling an in game email at me and I'll see about getting you on board. I figure this will relieve some of the recruitment pressure from Loupy and wtwall01.

    Also, the base.... she is complete... for now. We can manage 4 more teleporter pods in the room we have now. If we want all 22 locations, we will need a larger base footprint. If you have any suggestions, send an email to my Global.

    Funny story; I tried to run the first half of the Positron TF. We started out a team of 7. Two scrappers, a blaster, three Controllers (myself included), and a fantastic Tank. By the last mission, we were 5, the three controllers, one scrapper, and the tank. We suffered a team wipe during the ambush before you enter city hall causing the tank to rage quit. But the remaining 4 pressed on.

    We easily dispatched the baddies in the lobbies through prodigious use of confuses and then got trampled by our shadow clones. Of which there were 5 the controllers, a scrapper and a tank. Upon out return from the hospital, we encountered a glitch in the game. The shadow villain of the tank, who had rage quit, was transformed into another copy of myself. The resulting mag of incoming confuses was too much for our little band and we had to abandon the TF.

    It was, however, a valiant effort.

    Alrighty, planters, I've got two quick things to mention. First. I downloaded that new launcher and now I can't play the game on my laptop. Everything I've tried to fix the problems isn't working. This will end up limiting my playtime.

    Two. Is there any way to move this thread to the Freedom Server page or the Player Events page. This thread seems to have a better fit on one of those pages.

    The Base is coming along beautifully. I'm currently working on the workshop. We still need the teleporter beacons

    You answered everything fantastically. I was referring specifically getting as many planters on and setting up super-teams. My global is @Heavy Epsilon. I currently have a Plant/Rad at about 7th level on freedom. I won't be on this Saturday. Other plans are in the works. However, I am on for at least a couple of hours every day.

  25. Just to throw in my .02. I find that DB on a brute can be an extremely fun ride. Can't say much for number crunching as it's never been a focus of mine. What I'm judging on is fun factor purely.

    My brute is a DB/WP on freedom. I find the combo to be both flashy and highly survivable but ymmv.
