No, since only two of them would stack at the same time (EG: FF/Dodge). Not counting Elude which would effect all of them.

wait...so def de-buffs work on a per type basis? so FF/Doge will resist -melee def only?

what about the Ice armor powers that resist on a damage type. i don't think there are any -fire def powers to resist.

Just because you're in SG mode doesn't mean you automatically get Prestige. You still have to do things.

well if they can check for how long you've been in that costume then i don't see why they can't see how much Inf you gained with it on and give you Pres

I bet when you have your SG colors on you stop getting Inf and insted get Prestige.

you're advertiseing your SG so they get all the credit for your kills

you know i would think it would take less time to come out with the next few sets as they must have been working on a few at the same time.

they might be half-way done the next set already.

well thats what i would do anyway... They must have more then one programer right? Stands to resion that they would get the main force working on Bows/Sonics and then have the rest go work on the upcomeing sets. that way after you finished Bows/sonics you arn't left empty handed for the next update.


and remember what Cuppa said...they work on updates MONTHS in advance. They didin't make the Witch/pumkin guys models just for the holloween event and then deside to make a zone out of it. They planed WAY BACK for this stuff.

i think this is how Invis/Stealth is suppose to work now

these are the Stealth powers...the "not so invis" inivs powers

you arn't completly invisible you are ether just hideing or leave a trail or distortion so most people will have trubble seeing you, if you get up into Melee combat with them they only have a little trubble hitting you.

the 10 seconds are enough time that if you stop attacking they loose you

these powers are much more powerful. you bend shadows around you, make a thick fog cover, ect.

after you strike foes now know you are there and can strike at you...but they still have just as hard a time hitting as you are still cloaked in pure darkness/uber thick fog.

The devs appear to want EA's +Def to be more of a secondary effect.

how about adding a -recharge to some Ice armors when mobs hit them to slow the rate of attack of monsters so they hit less offen...that might help...a little...

+res should too


oo oo how about making some +DEF powers not "stack" per say...makeing each one a diffrent check to hit.

so if someone attacks you with S/L they have to make a check aganst base def +pool + Frozen Armor and then another check aganst base + pool + EA
(this could work for SR with Melee/range/AoE haveing to go through the pasive then the active, and maybe elude if its on)

if it fails against any of them it doesin't hit

...just a thought

Hey about Scrappers and Tankers not getting power sets...

i've asked states wether they were going to hold off on putting out power sets so people don't cry about there AT not getting power sests and he just said...no....they put out power sets when they finish them.

Tanks and Scraps arn't getting left out becouse they arn't happy with blance

they started work on these powers back at the start of the game! they didin't know that Defenders whould be the most blanenced when they finished

states just thought that they needed Bows/sonics first and it fit controlers/blasters/defenders the best.

Tar patch + sonic Blast = pwnz


what other combos come to mind?...

hmmm.....Ill/sonic? (Controls + damage + res debuff + +res)

Also what i think about Defender/controler pry/sec issues

it seems like the only resion that Dark isin't a Controler set is that it would give them far to many holds/pets and Bow/sonics doesin't have this issue so they could give it to both with no issues...and they did

i think this is the same thing for Scrappers/tankers the powers might not work when carryed over like that(not to mention that if they had each others powers they whould be almost identical)
