I can't even get into COH, it keeps saying my fire wall is on or it's maintenance.

Quote:Welcome back Nature!Hiya all my fellow Pinnacle-ites! (Did we ever figure out the proper terminology? I don't remember....) I would like to post a disclaimer about my grammar before anyone reads too far into this post. It's late and fatigue has set in hours ago.
I checked my email the other day and saw that Issue 17 was live. This prompted me to think about when exactly was the last time I logged on.....
I think it was in November.....
And with a start, I realized that I have missed running around Paragon City! I promptly updated my game this afternoon, and re-upped my subscription (which I was surprised to see hadn't expired yet)..... then had to leave for work. That's the problem with working nights.
(In my defense, I followed friends to a weird place called Aion. I came to the realization that I don't really have fun playing Aion. I only really log on to talk to said friends, and I haven't done that in awhile either)
So in conclusion to my long and rambling post....
I'm back! Let the heroing and badging continue!

You know, that badge wasn't even listed in Closed Beta and it wasn't even mentioned, there is no chance of it actually being active.

Hey Commander, is there a picture that shows all of Posi's Badges?
-
By Saturday, I will have 764 Badges! ^_^
I'm at 761 Badges at the moment because I didn't do Parts 1 & 2 of Posi yet and I'll be getting the 6 Year Anniversery Badge on Saturday as well. -

Never mind I figured it out, stupid is, stupid does... -_-;

Quote:Ah, good.I think is this going to spawn a whole new age of hero/villian designing. Let the games begin!
Is there a way to do this now in Mids?
Does this change open up a whole new range of possibilities or will the change be negligible?
So this means that we can keep our Epic Power Pools until we respec.
This is perfect because I haven't respected in years and I don't really see a need to either.
(Holy crap, -128 Rep Points, what the heck happened?) -

[QUOTE=rian_frostdrake;2810043][QUOTE=British Battler;2809618]Quote:Actually, the Collectors Edition of COV was 70 Dollars.
There are two different ways to get the City of Heroes Going Rogue expansion: as a separate expansion, or as part of the Complete Collection.
The separate City of Heroes Going Rogue expansion costs $29.99 (19.99 / £17.99) and requires you to already have City of Heroes. The separate expansion doesnt include game time, so you must be an active subscriber to play. The separate expansion does not include the Complete Collection Item Pack. The separate expansion will only be available digitally, and will be available for prepurchase starting in March (see below for more information on what you get from prepurchasing this separate expansion).
The City of Heroes Going Rogue: Complete Collection costs $39.99 (29.99 / £26.99) and includes City of Heroes Going Rogue as well as City of Heroes, City of Villains, 30 days of game time, and the Complete Collection Item Pack. With the game time and previous expansions included, it is ideal for those who are new to City of Heroes franchise (perhaps as a gift!), but also a good value for players not interested in prepurchasing. The Complete Collection will be available both digitally and at retail (in North America) starting in July and cannot be prepurchased (only the separate expansion can be prepurchased).
Starting at launch in July, players who prepurchased or bought just the separate City of Heroes Going Rogue expansion will be able to upgrade to the Complete Collection. The upgrade will include the Complete Collection Item Pack, but it wont include any game time.to correect this. 30 is for the fullgame, the "complete" edition is with two additional costume sets(alpha and omega), new auras and a few other extras, it is more comparable to a collectors edition or an additional booster pack. the 30 dollar version is the full version of gr. the full version of cov was either 50 or 60 dollars(with the collectors edition being more), i dont recall exactly, though that still is a difference of at least 20 dollars, or 5 slots purchased. that is what i am basing it on. -
Quote:Yes but it was stupid, the definition of stupid to have a Q&A with things that we already knew from other interviews and common sense.we got one, the developers didnt answer questions for things that they didnt have an answer to, and they didnt answer questions with the answers that people wanted to hear, but they reflected the reality of the game. we rarely get major info in these(usually we get less, the spears answer, the revelation of epic/patron changing, and the tentative release window for the mutant pack, the moral switch timer, and how many bleeding slots we are getting, as well as the future of boosters were information) so this was not out of line with usual q and a's. particularly with ww giving a "state of the game " address next week. yeah the release date and powers question were poorly chosen, but otherwise it was a standard q and a, teasing, not revealing.
Frankly I could care less if the Dev Team likes Vodka, it has nothing to do with the game or other questions like what non-COX characters do the Devs like, etc...
Those were questions that shouldn't have been asked for something like this.
Plus, if Marketing wasn't going to let them answer any of the hardball questions, then why did they even have a Q&A at all.
It was pointless. -
-
Having actual, important questions answered with useful information would've been nice.
Alot of people wanted to know about Bases, PVP, Badges, Zone Revamps, etc...
Instead we get info on things we already know from other interviews and common sense.
What was the point of this, it was a waste of time. -
Quote:Regardless, I've always thought that the purpose of Q&A's was to get actual, useful information.Perhaps they avoided questions that have nothing to do with Going Rogue content for a reason. If they didn't answer any questions about base raids (which there was one question that got answered. Look at the list again), or PvP, or <insert supposed begged for content> it's safe to assume that you won't be seeing anything in those areas for a while, and you'll get nothing but the answer you don't want to hear ("it's being discussed" or "on the back burner" or "not at this time").
Keep whining about the Devs ducking questions though. Your 15 bucks a month is money well spent.
Oh and I've been playing for over 63 months now, I know that my money is well spent.
Heh, I keep getting less Rep, whee. -

Yes but most of the questions that were answered were things that we already knew or questions that didn't have anything to do with the game.
-
Quote:Heh, brought to their attention, alot of other things have been, "brought to their attention", for years now. :/At least one base related question was answered - well, the INF to Prestige conversion was brought to their attention. >.>
Granted I love this game and I'm going to keep playing it, but things like this get me pretty peeved. -
Bah, this was still the definition of Bull****, "Being locked in a room with the Dev Team", my ***.

Quote:No offense to any of this, but you guys couldn't give us an answer about Base Construction or Zone Revamps or anything that we've been asking on the forums for years? Not true.
Frequently, there are things asked that we didn't prep for or that aren't on the 'bullet list' of things to cover that we are happy to answer. Things that were small, easy fixes or changes for us, but can have a big impact on gameplay for you, might be forgotten to talk about unless asked.
It would've been nice if alot more was answered and not just topics that were already known/common sense. -
-
No offense, but I wish they would answer the real questions that people want to know.
IE, the Shadow Shard getting Badges added, when will the Shadow Shard get more content, when will Base Construction/Raiding get that overhaul/fix/big add-on, that was promised a while back, etc...
(At least those are the ones that I want answered, but I'm sure other people want to know as well).
