Quote:transactions with people you know reduces the risk greatly.I did just that. (Well I didn't actually pay any attention if the last email was for 750,000,002 instead of 750,000,000 even.
) My buyer ended up being a player who I've teamed with several times on TFs, so we knew each other slightly. He got the inf together and was patient enough to wait until I finished an ITF I was on before receiving his IO. I didn't expect it, but he even sent the inf first. I figured we'd be doing a billion inf up front, maybe two, then I'd send the IO, then he'd send the rest.
Then it was just a matter of claiming the cash. 1.75 billion of it went straight on my main because I like him having nine digits on hand. The other billion went to an MM that just turned 50 and had about a billion sitting on him. -
Will the system allow your account to have zero INF/Infamy as a buyer?
-
Using the gleemail, 19,999,999,980(20x999,999,999) would be the maximum that could be held there in addition to the 2,000,000,000 per character. I would be scared to hold billions in Gleemail but I guess someone is doing this.

My question is the listing fee. Is it put back directly into your account or is it added to the sale price in WW/BM after it sells?
Edit: To do the transaction above you will need to have 100,000,000 in your account. -
Quote:If you want to sell it it has to be less than 1,999,999,999As long as you're logging into a character regularly, you can keep bids up indefinitely.
I don't think bids go away in 60 days just because you don't log in in any case, but on my active characters it doesn't really matter.
I'm going to be watching these threads more closely because I'm working on earning a few of these IOs myself. ^_^ I have 23 amerits on my night widow as of last night, on target to have 30 by Saturday, and I have 10 on one scrapper and 11 on another scrapper. I also have a 2 billion bid for one on the market. This is the first time I've worked hard at earning and saving up amerits to buy something like this, and if I can earn one or two to sell, so much the better. ^_^
Here's why:
There is a Listing Fee, which is 5% of the price you sell your item for. You get this fee back if you sell your item. There is also a Transaction Fee of 10% of the final sale price, which is deducted at the time of purchase. The 5% you paid when you listed the item is subtracted from the Transaction Fee. You will use your Influence to pay for these transactions.
Please be aware that you will lose your listing fee if your item does not sell. Also, you may put up a 'looking to buy' order. Your items will stay up for sale indefinitely, as long as you are active in the community. If you disappear for 60 days or more, your items will be lost. -
Quote:You can't send a billion, only 999,999,999The general method is this: Send 2 e-mails each with a billion inf attached, then send another e-mail with the remainder. Say, 700 mil. No, you can't claim all of those e-mails right away on one character, but you could claim it with two or more. You could also store the inf in the e-mails. Or you could claim just 1-2 of the e-mails, place a bid on WW that will never fill, and then claim the rest.
For example... Using both of those methods, I've got a character with double digit billions; I just claim what I need as I run low on inf on hand. -
How do you claim "part" of an email or bid? I thought it was all or nothing.
-
Do you hold billions longer than 60 days in your email?
-
Quote:double digit billions,okay... like greater than 10,000,000,000?The general method is this: Send 2 e-mails each with a billion inf attached, then send another e-mail with the remainder. ok..but you can't claim them. 2.7 billion is useless to all characters in a lump sum. Can you even put that into a gleemail?
-
I can run both again. I just don't want to lead them.
-
What kind of cookie? I can voucher she un-ignored me this weekend
-
How did you get 2.7 billion through the gleemail? Your character can only hold 2,000,000,000?
Your a very trusting person if you want to wait for 3 emails of:
999,999,999
999,999,999
700,000,002 -
2,000,000,000 is the character limit.

I have 4 pacts in place now. I do have one left if anyone wants to experience this.

Quote:This is the best solution for the game. EU players get merged and their servers should grow in population as a result. I have EU and NA accounts and I'm thrilled. My NA globalid is gcarlisle and my eu handle is gcarlisle2.As an NA player, I have to agree with the EU players on how they are getting shafted on the global names policy. I've been in that boat before with losing character names on server merges in Everquest (like my necromancer Joslyn became Joslynx and my mage Drusilia became Drusiliax), however my account was inactive for nearly a year at the time, so I got the shaft, as it should have been. However, had my account been active, I am pretty sure that the age of the character is/was taken into account. This is the way it should be IMO. If on the off chance my global is the same as a EU player, if that player has been playing longer than me, I would accept NA before my name. I would not appreciate it if it were being done to us the way it's being done to the EU Players.
You still have time to fix this for them, please do.
I'm so screwed on my EU account :-) Now some of my characters name will conflict mine and I look forward to the renames -
Quote:2 hours after starting the update and I'm still only at 85% completed. ~20 minutes of download left at the current speed and then it has to apply the update.
The pre-download system would likely have had me in the game in a very short time tonight.
Texas, were these speeds with the ncsoft launcher? This is unreal if it is. -
Can anyone confirm if this is true? I've recipes and their stronger than stacked enhancements and I still can't tp bosses.

This is total B.S.
this was a wasted day!! -
I was trying to do my WTF on the villain side last night. The leader when AFK and stayed online for over 2 hours. How is this possible? I thought the missons/tf/SF kicked people out after a certain time. This was total Rubbish. I didn't get my WST and I wasted a whole evening.
I hate this game sometimes!! -
Quote:The storm is a 1,000,000 years in the future. Did I miss something? Do we need to be Alpha to defeat Cole? I'm just wondering about the purpose of these slots that were working so hard on. They mentioned 180. What is this all for? How will you slot all of these or make adjustments during tasks/TF/SF, etc.Actually, from the dev chat it was hinted that the Well is simply beefing up existing threats to force us to become more powerful so that when the Coming Storm hits, we're able to defend ourselves (and the Well) effectively.
It's speeding up the process of "survival of the fittest" so it's got some decent meatshields from what it appears to know about the Storm (which has yet to be revealed via plot).
I can see it now, "Level 54 team LFM, 123 slotted MM." -
I'll be there with Attitude. I just don't know which one.

Lady Attitude(pathetic controller with buffs/debuffs/Heals)

Quote:Lothic,I'll grant you that this particular show may fail. But seriously, ALL shows change their looks/costumes based on all sorts of reasons and/or feedback. The fact that this show has changed things is not a unique "failure" that only this one show has been guilty of.
[EDIT based on Residentx_EU's EDIT] I agree there's probably an element of "the younger audience won't really know any better anyway" going on here. But as a member of the "rest of us" audience I'm still willing to let these changes have a chance to fail before I'll ASSUME it's going to fail.
I know you want to be positive and give this show a chance but they're failing and the show hasn't even started yet. In Showbiz, creative talent/genius is based on how the culture accepts what you have created/presented. It's not an iterative process like other things in life. You get thumbs up if you plan/massage/think through your ideas well and they capture the "Spirit" of your target.
Honestly, they picked the wrong girl...she a gimicky outfit...they are doing poor...very poor promos for this show. Is this the best they have to offer us. The shoots to the public should be better than this. This is haphazard. This show is DOA.
