  1. LGTF run, 4.50MB. I wasn't the leader so I didn't bother collecting stats. This changed to a speed run. It's time to play my other alts for awhile.

  2. LGTF stats, 2.2MB. Team was all 50s except for 1, 46.

    1 hr and 13 minutes.

I got a bunch of farms that didn't want to farm this one. This had lots enemies but we would have been here all day. I'll have to do this one again later. This group wasn't up to the task. LR needs to get a cellphone!!
  3. Mendor TF, Late Afternoon.1 hr 3 mins 3.25MB

    http://jumbofiles.com/zng6sos2256j

All 50's but 1, 47. Started to farm this but the mish became too difficult and others started stealthing.
  4. Congrats!! Enjoy Sounds like you really wanted it.
  5. ITF Saturday afternoon stats. 1 hr 30min - 5.76MB

    http://jumbofiles.com/ev3g0m3xi5xg

    All 50 but 1, 48

Team left afterwards and didn't farm completely the map. I may change my opinion about the ITF. I could have got more easily today.

It is much easier to get threads for the other slots. You are basically collecting information that is no longer needed (would have been slightly useful before I20) and nobody will use it.
Because I want to...you don't have to post here if you don't like it, ok?
  7. LGTF Morning Herostat File, 2 hours almost, All 50s. 7.22MB

  8. I was impressed. I logged and left and ran around for 1/2 hour then left and game back at 8:30. I was able to play wiht minimium lag. The drops were nice too.
  9. 20.5 makes purples buyable at the new ouro market.

Nope, I've gotten purples at all levels.

Certainly, none of the high profile recent conversions did that.
F2P won't work completely now because we have been conditioned by the sub experience and have a touchstone...the next generation...business hopes to "condition" them to the pay per play/content model. It will not be fully implemented in our time. Generation Next will get to see it. Also, don't forget this is a business, company's want more money period. This is their long-term/business continunity plan.

Uhm news flash but this game as well as every sub based MMO is already pay per play. You can't play unless you pay first, and the smallest block of time you can buy is 30 days.

No argument on the nickel and diming, but it's up to the company how far they take it. If they are smart they'll try to find a balance between what gets added for free and what has to be bought.

If they are really smart they'll make sure everything in the store (with the exception of things like server transfers and rename tokens) is available for free in the game as long as the player puts the effort into unlocking it.

That way players don't have to spend money to get what they want from playing the game, and the "Gottahaveitnao" impulse buyers can buy it from the store.
No, every game is not pay per play. We sub to this game to get access to content on monthly, quarterly basis. When I say pay per play, I mean you have buy to content per play/session. This is the long term hopes of F2P, give them the base content but make them buy the advanced content.

To kick someone because they are a 'drag to the team' (I'd like some kind of clarification on what his definition of 'drag to the team' is) without proper, or warranted, kicking rings to me that he'd rather get what he needs from someone, then drop them so the numbers increase in his favor for drops.

As far as this clarification is concerned, what makes someone a 'drag to the team'?
    - They're new and not entirely sure how to play a particular AT?
    - They are still getting the hang of a particular raid, tf/sf, trial, and tend to make some mistakes?
    - They go AFK for several minutes without a prior warning of them not being there? (i.e. Parking themselves in a zone/base/hosp and not responding to tells or pokings for 10+minutes.)
    - They're a grievance to the team? (I can get on board with kicking swiftly over this)

See, there's a lot of scenarios that could cause someone to be a 'drag to the team' be it inexperience or that person just being a jacka**.

Only reason I ask is because of what the OP says in his first post.
This game can test your limits sometimes. Give him a break. He's a human being. I'm sure he was professional during the game. The boards is good place to vent.

And look for server mergers by the end of the year if they deem these stress tests to be successful... (because why else would they need to stress-test the servers of a game with a fairly static population that is unlikely to grow?)
Server merge? Do you know the populations on the other servers? When I come online. Most the of the servers show medium load( 2 dots). I think that shows their adequate.

Trials should be allowed to talk to others. I never, never understood this. If your allowed to make friends, you'll probably stay.

My opinion is that I think F2P is a bad idea for this game, but my decision as to whether I would continue to play would hinge on exactly how it's implemented, if it indeed goes that way.
Most of us know what it means when F2P comes to CoH, that's why we're making the comments. It will mean the end of subs and the beginning of the pay per play era. If it goes big, the knickel and diming will never stop or be abused.
  18. These are my feelings right now about this "project," post your stats and at the end of every month I'll post the results of all the TFs. Over time, well see the trends.

I am getting 80% more shards then you in the same amount of time. All of this is dependent on the RNG(RANDOM NUMBER GENERATOR) though.

You also need to take into acount that if you want comparable stats, the teams need to be made up of the same people every time. This way you are getting just about the same figures every time.
I tactfully disagree. Your making the assumption that everyone is getting rewards in the speed. Most of the speeds, I've done, the quickest just leave the rest behind during the map race. Also, I'm sure the drops are less too. Also, the speed run isn't consistently 6. It's more like 4-6. Where the farm/clear is 10-15.

But ultimately, the only we can professionally answer this question is to start collecting statistics. Also, teams are never the same. I want to knip that comment in the bud right now. Drops are drops.

  21. Be careful what you say here, I feel for your comments. I hate speed and do clear mishes to get better drops but most are in a hurry. I had a run the other night on the LGTF where I told everyone this wasn't a speed run but a shard farm and they still stealthed it and killed the hostages. The team's drops was almost 40% less than my other runs. I was angry.

But this is the nature of this game. Look me up this weekend if you doing long runs. I'm be online from Friday 1pm till Monday Midnight. @gcarlisle on Freedom.

It wasn't on the page that you referenced. It was in a sub link. I need to get a professional opinion on how these cooldowns work not the oddities.
