DrMike, funny thing is my first ever toon (by luck) was Elec/Nrg (Issue 4), followed by an Elec/Elec blaster and Kin/Elec defender (Issue 5).
If you don't get into elec blast early, it seems easy to look past it for stuff like fire and ice that take less work to get the secondary effect off (fire = more damage, ice = slows).
The issue is Electrical drains are all or nothing. Either your enemy has enough endurance to fight you or he doesn't. You don't lower mob accuracy, damage, recharge rate, mez with drains, etc.
If the devs made drains stronger, you'd be able to lockdown anything in seconds with little work. As it stands now... your elec/elec needs to animate a 4 second Short Circuit and then use Power Sink to fully drain mobs. The Elec/Nrg has to use SC with Power Boost followed by Ball Lightning to drain an even level mob.
However, once you full drain something (save for AVs, GMs, etc., which have high resistances to debuffs), it's possible to never give them more than a minor attack's worth of endurance due to Short Circuit and Tesla Cage being automatic recovery debuffers.
Power Boost is going to make you see just how effective the drain can be if you slotted your attacks (slotting/PB also boosts the amount -recovery you do), even though you'll never have the space to slot for end drains in stuff like TC, Lightning Bolt, Ball Lightning, etc. -
If he's unaffected... can't you just turn on Phase Shift and attack him?

I sold at going rates for most of my stuff. I checked prices and players by in large didn't bid up slowly to take advantage of me lol.
Only thing that made me sad was the resist/end crafted 50 IO I have up vill side (60 million price) was underpriced when Iput it up two weeks ago... the market for it crashed to 11 mil... and is now back up to 60 mil... but it didn't sell lol.
Too many other players were waiting out the crash it seems. -
And before the week was done I saw a channel tell of "We did the STF through the bug! Woo!"
It sounds very annoying and hopefully a patch this week gets it and the drops back.
Now... to check my IO sales after being gone for 4 days. -
I want to throw cars at people without doing for "theme."
Anything they can do to improve it I'll approve lol. -
I'd like to confirm if this is a glitch: Soulbound's Build Up proc effects the castor and not the pet.
I cast Imps on my Fire Dominator and saw the +acc and +dmg bonus for a few seconds. If so... this would really only be good on a Voltaic Sentinel user (and perhaps Illusion Control with PA).
The attack from VS has a base +40 percent to hit bonus, so I should be able to hit up to +4s off the a/d/r IO in Soulbound (26.5 acc) and remove the acc/rech.
Anyone else tried this proc in VS? -
And to repeat: I got nothing in OPEN, warburg pvp.

This. For Stupefy. Instead of the Knockback proc. Please. +2 Mag stun would be especially sexy. Or just a set at a future release (shame on stupefy... considering 6 is a range defense bonus). -
95 percent of my toons don't need to respec. 40 percent of my toons would be better with different IO slotting, and half of the IOs I'd be removing cost millions and could work better on other toons.
If I could remove IOs without a respec... then I wouldn't need to bug out when I miss a free grant lol. -

You have voltaic sentinel slotted with soulbound. Its really overkill there and the hitpoint bonus is already pushing you past the cap. Might want to try something else there ?
Your aim and build up look like they could use more recharge. I don't know how you go through spawns but my style is aim+bu+Aoe chain = dead spawn move to the next. So aim and buildup are my speed limiters. Ymmv.
Any reason you just use fractions of purple sets instead of going for that five slot love ? It doesn't look like cost because you have some very expensive pieces in the build.

1. Soulbound gives 16 regen and 4 damage for 4. It's also the best mix of damage, accuracy and end cost for just 4 slots. The recharge of 60 percent is just a nice benefit considering VS is a 20.5 dmg boost when cast.
The 3 percent hit points is just there along the way. They also work while I exemplar down (+accolades does help on non-50 TFs and ouroboros arcs).
2. 69 recharge in Aim and Build up + currently 51+ recharge and then hasten... getting that last 26 ish in recharge from Aim/BU won't help much more.
3. That is my current build. I will slot more Very Rares as I get them. -
A prevailing thought in that thread, Silverado, is that freespecs get a week's worth of warning before they are granted.
Hopeful, but I'll just go in expecting them to hit with the issue launch. -
That is my biggest issue with AE... and it's actually an issue with myself: I'm no where near as good a writer as I want to be.
And that's not AE's fault.
I just wish it had some unique mission objectives (like Player vs. Player missions...etc.) to stir up new interest. -
I'm a major altaholic on Infinity, KithDPine. I was planning some changes to my main hero and villain, and two or three other toons thanks to PvP IOs.
And yeah lol, I have 4 veteran respecs unclaimed on all toons... I just like using free ones... cause you know... they're free! -
I didn't hear about the freespecs until Saturday night, but was too busy over the weekend to use them.
Got up for morning hoops and did a respec on a brute over breakfast (4:30 a.m.ish est), then left. Got back at 8:10 a.m. est and the servers were apparently down for I15 (guessing they went down an hour early?).
Trust me, love that respecs are free some issues and there was a warning - just wish we were told Monday or Tuesday was the day (I guessed Tuesday... I fail!).
Anyone else that got caught expecting more time Monday morning or that they had until Tuesday? -
Thanks - yeah my first time posting a mids build. I've reposted the build above and that's less headache inducing.
Yes, I have a stealth in sprint already. I like having SS/stealth by 14 for use on any TF or trial in the game (it is my main afterall).
I wish I could have CJ sooner. I could swap it for Boost Range. Boost Range also makes Static Discharge a room smacker.
The Centriole is for giggles. I had a Hamidon Acc/Dmg in both Ball Lightning and Static Discharge but removed them on my last respec. I did it to test out an IO 50 recharge in BL and that dmg/rng for SD.
I'm still undecided if I want my Very Rare set in Thunderous Blast or Ball Lightning. On mids, Discharge with an IO 50 recharge after my set bonuses and hasten... only came back a second-ish faster so I tried the range first.
And yes: I heart me some Short Circuit (especially with the fire proc essentially doubling its damage one in three targets), but I'm still programmed mentally to when I first leveled it during Issue 4 - That means useless until SOs at 22. I could move Tesla Cage back (most low-level TFs I run are on heroic - meaning anything that's a threat that could be held can be taken down with Power Thrust).
EDIT: Still more juggling to do with some bonuses. I'm wasting about 20ish hit points thanks to the cap (mainly getting to damage bonuses from Devastation). -

Lucky. Still haven't gotten that to drop red or blue side. Two +Res (Shield Wall) and one +hp/end proc in the 190ish drops I've gotten (90 percent+ while afk).
Wish I could sit there and spam faster but it's like watching paint dry. I need something like your LSU/Texas game or I just let the toons autolog and forget about them lol. -
Two accounts. 60 kills in 30 minutes. Use a Mastermind that is unbuffed for survival as the target. Fire Control or Mastermind on the other end works (MM On MM violence works best because you can swap killers without leaving the instance).
Best rate: Find a corner in Warburg. 20 Rez insp in your tray. Imps or MM Pets kill you every second you rez/click and EACH death counts toward possible drops.
Run out. Zone to base. Make 18 more from base Autodoc combining of greens/blues (storage next to it can hold last 2 if you like). Leave base. SAME spot as you died.
Repeat. On any toon due to rez low hit points you can more than double the arena rate.
P.S. - Expecting this to be fixed... soon(tm).

Eh, when we get Archery switched to wrist blasters/handbows like the Knives of Artemis we can have Dual Archery defense.

That insanely expensive +3 percent resist PvP IO scales to AT... so brutes only get 2.25 resist to all from it.
