I understand that you cant really outlevel IOs, but by level 40 you can find a greater bonus than the ones you got 10 levels ago.

I never really got into the whole AH thing. Now, I really only go there to sell stuff so I can buy SOs and distribute to my other toons.

I understand the concept of IOs and the crafting part, but have a question.

What is a good time to "start" slotting your character with IOs to get the set bonuses? If you start at the lower levels, you outlevel to quickly. If you start later in levels, it almost becomes not worth it.

I am running a level 14 duo with my girlfriend. We are set to +1x6. I have gotten a total of 2 enhancements and not a single recipe from mobs since i16 came out.

I like Granite Armor the way it is.

Unless you can replicate the same "indestructible" feeling with just another overlay however...

I first remember seeing an ad for this game in the August or September issue of Game Informer when i4 just ended. Since then I found a niche and ran with the same great group of people for years. They ALL went to WoW, Eve online, or SWG.

I have been trying to find another "group" since i10 and all i get stuck with is introverted PUGs. I got my girlfriend into the game, but it isn't the same. I can't even get on a TF that knows what they are doing.

I miss the days where I would log on, get invited and have a blast and chat with what become some of my closest friends.

I would like to see an optional and additional camera view for playing your character in "first-person". You see the legs, arms, etc. Maybe add in some additional features like a "terminator" style view, where you see everything in red and the enimies health and information is displayed in more of a "techy" style like you are wearing a helmet.

What is your idea of a dream duo, with specifc ATs and powersets?

My girlfriend and I made a blaster/controller duo.

I made a Archery/Energy and she made an Earth/Thermal

I NEVER thought I would have as much fun with a blaster as I do with this character. I don't know what it is but I have tried basically every blaster primary BUT that one and never leveled a blaster past 12.

Within 2 days he became one of my favorite characters.

Does the Archery fun fade? At level 18 there is still only a handful of lethal resistant mobs, hopefully it's not as bad as i think.

Between me and her controller, we are dropping red and purple bosses in seconds. Faster than I can remember doing so with my scrappers.

I have 2 accounts under my master account. If I buy a booster pack, will it apply to one or both of my accounts?

So I kind of got my girlfriend addicted to the game. We live together and our computers are set up side by side. She will even shout "I just got a great hero/villain idea!" a few times a day. It's kind of cute.

She hates making female toons. She says, "The character creator is sexist! The girls behinds are all huge. They even have a BOOB slider. If I can make a character with breasts the size of beachballs I should be able to make a character with a package the size of a watermelon."

We have had some interesting conversations when we are both on a team and she decides to talk to me in game instead of turning her head and actually speaking to me. Last nights tops it.

She was playing her lowbie male tank.

Girlfriend: Hey can you invite Mr. Shapper?
Leader: i wud like to keep the team as small as possible so it dont get crazy, know him?
Girlfriend: Yes, he is my boyfriend. We are sitting right next to each other.
Teammate: ...bat for the other team?
Leader: r u a girl?
Girlfriend: Yes, please invite him.
Leader: u have a myspace or facebook?
Girlfriend: Yes, but i only give it out to close friends
Teammate: lol it's a dude he won't give it out.
Leader: sorry, i don't team with *******. y wont u give it out if ur a girl?
Girlfriend: Because I don't have to?
Leader: I told you i dont team with ******.
Girlfriend: Well, we play together so if you don't invite him I will join him.

Then, the leader elaborates in broadcast his feelings about the whole subject.

So, we find a perfect opportunity to bring out our new characters, "Totally Fabulous" and "Richard Love".

We sign on and we ask him to invite us. He sees our flamboyant costumes and goes ape. I think he smashed his face on the keyboard cause all we saw was "ajhdaf klasfd fdjklsjklafdklfjas;lkfja sjkfjkl;asfd kl;asfdjkl;asfd " and him auto running into a wall.

We fear he had a heart attack.

So, if the leader of last night's team happens to be reading this(you know who you are), I hope you are okay. Slamming your face or fists on the keyboard must have hurt.

I have been on and off with the game since Issue 4. When I first started It was like a dream come true type of game. I was very into it. Since i10 or so I started to go for 1-3 months without subscribing, only to resubscribe for a month and only play it for 10 minutes out of the whole month. My friends went to WoW, Supergroup disbanded, and people that I interacted with just weren't very outgoing.

I would really like to get back into the game but every time I do I get discouraged cause there are no teams, and if I do get a team or start one nobody wants to communicate.

Are there any SGs out there that are outgoing, hold sg events, don't farm the MA 24/7, and would like an extra member or two? (My girlfriend also subscribes, we have our comps right next to each other)

What really drew me into the game(aside from character creation) the first time was having a good time with a group of people, and I really miss that feeling.

Other ideas:

1-Instead of X number of emails, limit the amount of recipients of a single email and put in a time delay to send out the next email, account wide.

2-Put in a filter and weight system, if it passes a certain weight it will be rejected or have to be approved.

3-Tie the entire email system and limitations for outgoing or mix and match the many suggested. Ex: "At 3 months you are able to send email with a maximum of X recepients, once ever X minutes." And gradually increase it.

4-If an account is reported for spam, have it flagged and looked into, then restrict email account wide.

5-JUNK FOLDER

6-Remove email entirely

7-Word filter certian site names. Ex: "www.MattBold.com" becomes "<SPAM>".

Everytime I log in and select the server, it wont even get to the character selection before crashing.

Working fine before the patch, both the computers in my house with the CoH/V client installed have the same issue, two different accounts. Tried rebooting, "Verify all files", deleting the playerslot file, nothing.

So, bored at work nothing to do, started humming. Drew up something(mainly as a joke) for a new power set. Probably not feasible, but feel free to spruce it up.

Power Set: Music
Music, used to your advantage, can alter the mentality of anyone who hears it. You can use it to harm, as well as good.

Gentle Song
You play a gentle song, bringing comfort to your allies nearby. (AoE Heal)

Smooth Melody
You play a smooth melod for your allies, your allies have increased accuracy and perception(+Acc, +Perception)

Broken String
You play with a broken string, distracting your enimes and reducing their defense. (-Def)

Heavenly Riff
You play a heavenly riff, resurecting a targeted ally.(+Rez)

Upbeat Tune
Using your fingers, you stum an upbeat tune that frees your allies from distractions. (+res to hold, immob, fear, and confuse.)

Frightening tune
You play a frightening melody, causing fear in your enimies (Cone fear)

Encouraging Presence
You are a master of the music, just being in your presence gives your allies increases regeneration and recovery(+reg, +rec)(Auto)

Song of Doom
You play a song of doom, causing fear, -regeneration, -acc, -defense, and -res as long as this power is active.
While this power is active, you are slowed and you are unable to use any other power in the music set.

Song of Immortality
While you play this song, your allies have +regeneration, +resistance, +defense, +tohit, +perception
While playing the song of immortality, you are unable to use any other powers, but you are almost impossible to damage.

For the last one, think of a modified hibernation.
