Never thought I would get into a blaster this much

My girlfriend and I made a blaster/controller duo.

I made a Archery/Energy and she made an Earth/Thermal

I NEVER thought I would have as much fun with a blaster as I do with this character. I don't know what it is but I have tried basically every blaster primary BUT that one and never leveled a blaster past 12.

Within 2 days he became one of my favorite characters.

Does the Archery fun fade? At level 18 there is still only a handful of lethal resistant mobs, hopefully it's not as bad as i think.

Between me and her controller, we are dropping red and purple bosses in seconds. Faster than I can remember doing so with my scrappers.

Arcery reamins fun throughout it's life (especially once you get Rain of Arrows). Yes, at higher levels the damage curve drops off a bit (although your girlfriend having melt armour will help a bit there), but the animations for archery are so nice that you won't care.

I don't know about archery, but I do know that duoing a blaster/controller combo was what hooked me into blasters. So if you think it's fun now, wait. It just keeps getting more fun.

Blaster/Controller is one on my favorite duo combos.
It might be because it was a freind of mine who got me onto CoH and he only plays one blaster character and i rolled a controller first and we had some serious fun.

Achery is awesome. At level 32 pick Rain of Arrows and slot it out ASAP. Or we will hunt you down.

When you get RoA all you seem to do is Aim+BU, RoA, EA, Fistfull. Chain the attacks and they should all land about the same time. It's a thing of beauty. In the long run, you might tire of repeating the same attack prosess over and over though.

I think you're missing the obvious: you're enjoying quality time with someone you care about. There's an emotional investement in this character BECAUSE you're duoing with your gf. Even the most gimp build in the game couldn't spoil one's fun then.
