The only thing I noticed on the STF run we did tonight was that the flyer respawned after less than 10 minutes.

I would have commented sooner, but new job started Tuesday.
But...
YAY! on Tips and Tricks thread. -
And thank for posting a drop ship raid. I've never actually seen one.
Thanks, VexXxa. -

The team Search window need a legend to explain the colour coding. -
And although some people will say it's not required, I recommend running something like Driver Sweeper in Safe Mode after removing old driver, and prior to instlling the new drivers.

Quote:So instead of griping at each other, how about:
- Push for an earnable/purchasable (other than the vet reward) auction house temp power, and/or
- have them actually look at bases for the first time in who knows how long and add an auction house terminal item there.Quote:Great idea! That would serve the same purpose as a "quiet room" and on the off chance some rude twit of an SGmate starts acting the fool in the base when you're using the market terminal you can have the satisfaction of booting his punk *** out of the SG.
(I'm basing my comments from the perspective that I'm the ranking officer in all my SG's) -
Quote:1. Because exploits keep popping up there, as much as it has been 'regulated.'
2. Because farms, which are not allowed, are too easy to create and run through before the process of find-report-remove can take effect.
Double XP in AE will never happen under the current system. If there was a more strenuous system for vetting new arcs before they could be flagged to give rewards, then *maybe* AE would get double XP.Quote:And if that's the only reason the devs are excluding normal mission arcs in AE, then I still say it's stupid, since people are ALWAYS going to farm if they choose, whether inside AE or elsewhere. But this excludes any legitimate AE missions from being included in double XP, so they are cutting off their noses to spite their faces.
If the devs are foolish enough to think farming doesn't happen anyway, then they are not as smart as I give them credit for being.
At the moment I don't get to enjoy any 2XP goodness, I'm moving this weekend and the phone company turned off my internet a day early. So colour me unsympathetic for the 'No 2XP in AE! RAWR!! Slap in the face!!11!1!eleventy-eleven!!1!1!!' crowd. -
Quote:If it were actually power suppression, I wouldn't care, but it actually detoggles everything. For people zipping in and out of the market I can understand why this would be an issue.I was talking about caving in to power suppression in the current WW/BM markets. I read the idea on a quiet room for the market in the suggestion forums and agree that would be a good comprimise.
For the jacktards that stand there for the next half hour with their AoE's/Shields/Auras/Pets contaminating the AH and actually start spamming their powers if you ask them to turn them off, I couldn't care less and love the Praetorian WW.
Quote:Personally I like the idea of having a seperate quiet room. While it doesn't affect my pc if people have their toggles/pets and other things running, it is annoying and it does slow down the market it seems.
It's typical of people to do such things I compare it to people who pull out in front of you in traffic, they only think of themselves and piss on you if it inconviences you.
And I would equate the AH power spammers to people that speed up to get in front of you, then slow down once they are there. -
This is your character...
This is your character on superadine...
By the way, I'd check your video cards driver and make sure your GPU fan is clear of dust. Mine gave up the ghost shortly after this KodakĀ® moment. -
I know that there are some players that have more than 396 characters and need that second account, but I don't think the call for it is great enough to implement this suggestion.

PM Avatea with your request.
Your forum account name really has no bearing on your ingame account or your characters. Now, your login name, you cannot change. -
Quote:Pretty much that. All powers get turned off, not just suppressed. If you want to know why you can go to any WW/BM on Virtue -- I'll bring my Spines/Fire with Quills and Flames going, and arrange for any number of Kins to drive-by SB you, while a half-dozen MMs have full sets of pets out.
I used to get annoyed that those of us who didn't want to have our systems bogged down by numerous users unwilling to turn off their AoE's or that actually would willfully turn them on in hubs like Talos/Cap Au should get our own little closet to huddle in.
But I listened to peoples various reasons.
Like people hopping in between missions in a TF or arc to empty their pockets.
Or
To pick up inspirations that they had left sitting there and could snag more easily then hitting the base.
Or
A quick market check.
For some AT's/Powersets it can be a major pain in the backside to re-toggle or re-summon pets and not necessary if you're only going to be there for a minute.
I realized that it is not unreasonable for me to hop into a 'Studio B' style room to get away from that. Just make sure that the room is far enough underground that it doesn't still pick up people powers or street noises. 'Studio b' is erroneously called the 'Quiet Room' which I assure you, it is not, because you can still hear the powers of everyone out in the data stream room AND the traffic noise.
Generally, if I'm at the market I turn of AoE's/Shields/pets, especially if I'm going to be there for a while. I've noticed that there are players that are not that concerned with their fellow players. -

My plans for 2XP Weekend?
Moving.

Quote:1. /signedOkay, rather than be negative I'll try to come up with things that would make me support a base overhaul.
1) Storage Revamp. Instead of individual 'outlets' we get a vault, with organized tabs. To increase storage we would still purchase more storage space with prestige, but everything could be stored in a single vault, with tabs, with different permissions available for each tab.
2) Base raids available again. This was a fun feature and I would love to see it back in the game.
3) Multiple floors/Z-axis support.
4) Support for more varied room templates so people could have bases similar to underground Council bases, or Longbow Submarine Bases, etc.
5) The option to retain what we have or convert to the new system.
2. No opinion, other than as long as it's optional.

Quote:Whardal, don't take it personally when people respond to "I only wanted the peoples opinion of this." with "a simple search would have given you peoples opinion as well as a great many reason as why this will either not work or require a cost prohibitive amount of developer time to create."There really is no strafe, Q and E buttons turn the vehicle or mouse turns. Space Bar could either activate a boost or could activate an airlift to lift the vehicle in the air (or in the case of flying vehicles make it ascend).
Man you tried to shoot this down quick. I'm not trying to disrespect you in any way, but this is only a suggestion, I only wanted the peoples opinion of this.
We've seen the suggestion, repeatedly. Being new to the forums, you probably didn't make a quick search to see if it had been suggested and the responses to it.
Don't take this to mean that you should 'lrn2search n00b' or that you should bugger off. We actually like seeing new people around, and you will find this to be the friendliest, most helpful community of any MMO.
Welcome. -
Quote:I wonder if it has anything to do with some character not being awarded this years temp powers. I know some of mine had that issue. And the patch was meant to fix this, with some unexpected results.Actually, it may be. I did log in the Steel Rook, whom I haven't played since 2007, probably, and who had been offline for at least 200 days, and did so only a few days ago. His trays were fine. I'll go report it.
Quote:I've also been moving things in Samuel's room around. You know, like putting the stabler on the other side of the desk, switching the contents of dresser drawers, mismatching socks, etc. Next week, going to start changing the homepage on his web browser and drinking his all his milk then putting the empty jug back in the fridge. -
Just got mine resolved. Got the Hecatomb back and a Synthetic Int. Unit that had vaporized at the same time. I was really expecting to have this looked at over the weekend. Looks like their back at work looking at our missing gleemails.
GM Lloyd is Teh Awesome!
Actually, they all are as I've never had an unsatisfactory experience when dealing with any of the GM's. -

Quote:I think people may grumble at any ingame arc/TF or whatnot being locked as in meant for SG's only. This is a pretty big potential issue. Perhaps another way to help it be more than just 'padding the roster' is changing the badge requirements on certain things by linking them to SG exclusive mini-TFs/special arcs?
hmmm...
I was wondering if the requirements were based on already available content, or future content, but the game could determine if the team were comprised of SG members? Personally I would like Coalies to count as well. I'm sure that I'm not the only person that joined an SG that used to have more active members, but is now just a couple of avid players, but still team quite often with coalition SG members.
