BTW, 99% of the costumes are not well suited for combat.

Heels, capes, long hair, glasses or things the opponent can easily grasp. Clothes that are flammable or offer no protection against bullets. Lets face it, the only sensible clothing would be wearing as much armor as you can get away with.

That is true. Not much farming in Mercy, it's all in Cap redside.
Removing them from beginning zones still leaves the villain farming alive and kicking.
But yes, it would be a good idea to get rid of them from starting zones, it would make sense to take them away from sub 10 or 15 zones, a lot of the arcs made are intended for high level characters anyway.
Or how about this; Only Mission Creating terminals in the low lvl zones so people can't play the arcs there? That way they can still add in their content but it will cut down on low lvl farming.

I don't often utilize things much in my builds if they cost over 100 mil a piece. I do have some LotG +rechs in storage from when they cost 20mil or less a piece. Other than that, I just do TFs and hope I get lucky with random rolls.

I wouldn't pay 100mil for an IO either, it's hardly worth that much for the small bonuses anyway.

I had a dream the other night that whilst in a bar doing a quiz i suddenly fetched little blue circular symbols hanging on the curtains that in my mind where access or pieces to access the shield set (note the power symbols used in game). One of which i knew was the active defense came as a bracer which slotted on my arm and i assume give me the shield (although i never actually seen a shield in my dream). Strangely enough at the end i stumbled upon a fight with some rough crowd... the ironic thing was i couldn't fight in my dream, i was stopped by some force if you like.

SO i pose the question... time for a long break from coh? or just a love for the game shining through?

Thermal can be quite effective in pvp at least from what i've seen (might take some work however build wise) as mentioned rather bluntly above healing is erm... broked lol or shall we say less effective.

Anyway i you give me a shout (@kindeller) assuming your on the union server or dont mind going to sirens to pvp i'll give pvp a bit and let you get a feel for things.
