Really_Big_Bang

I'm a three year vet of City Of... and even now I still have a difficult time figured out what sets to give my characters. The lists on Paragon Wiki just seem to overwhelm me when I look at them, and I suspect I am short changing my characters as a result.

Currently playing a Blaster Archery/Mental, but my main is a Corr Sonics/Thermal.

The lack of information is a huge turn off and Paragon should release tons of info this week so people could decide whether or not to pre-purchase it.

I definitely wanna pre order it, but just the full version, not the expansion. Early play is nice, but I'd rather the free month and booster pack.

I will definitely be buying the Full version, not just the expansion (free month of game time and the item pack makes it a great value), but I don't understand why they are not offering a preorder for it? Seems strange to me.

A Veteran of the last two Halloween events, and I can genuinely say, I'm not exactly sure how this year's event works. The description confused me. Can someone break it down for me, as I can clearly slow today? And what new badges are there?

1) An option to let the creator jump in and take direct control of some of the mobs in a mission they've created if they are on when someone is going through their missions. Now that would be some sick PvP potential

2) Buffs/Debuffs/temporary powers, which only last for the time the person is doing the current Architect storyarc. I would love if a contact could use Mystic Fortune on one of my victims....err...customers....before a mission!

3) True branching story arcs. This actually is sort of possible if you use extra slots (let player continue doing current arc, or have them leave arc and go to a different one which continues story in another way), but something right in the system that would allow for it in the same story arc.

Yeah, getting random crashes on Champion the last two days. Definitely DXp related as I never crash.

Kid Bang:

Bio: Billy Pennington has always been fascinated by super villains. When all the other kids wanted to be Statesmen or Back Alley Brawler, he always wanted to be the bad guy. When he was 13, he went so far as to make himself a cheap Hamidon costume by wrapping himself in colored cellophane. This required a trip to the Emergency Room. His parents kept hoping he would grow out of it, but that just never happened.

When Billy was 16, he saw footage of Really Big Bang getting arrested after a botched King’s Row bank robbery. Billy really liked the sonic powers and black and green costume. He decided to start his own career of villainy, modeling himself after Really Big Bang. Unfortunately, Billy did not have the scientific know-how to build sonic energy devices like Really Big Bang could.

In an attempt to gain these powers, Billy ended up making a deal with the Circle of Thorns. They would help him gain super powers, and he would work for them. Billy would start calling himself Kid Bang. As a part of the mystical generation of his powers, Kid Bang also has a low level ability to manipulate hellfire. This power is unpredictable and tends to manifest in strange and unexpected ways, like invisibility or the ability to heal others.

Kid Bang served the Circle of Thorns for about a year, but he soon decided that soul snatching and demonic rituals were definitely not the fun life of a super villain he had hoped for. Kid Bang escaped from the Circle of Thorns, but their mystical ways allowed them to track him down and recapture him. The Kid would have been destroyed, if not for the timely intervention of the Bone Snappers.

Kral-Raiden, Kingpin of Crime, and Really Big Bang were raiding a Circle of Thorns base at the time and “rescued” Kid Bang. Actually, they had planned to take him and ransom him back to the Thorns or his family. But, when he told them his story, they decided to let him stick around. If nothing else, at least they would have a fall guy in case a job went bad.

Really Big Bang mentored Kid Bang for a few months before deciding to go into semi-retirement. Kral-Raiden and Kingpin of Crime were ready to just kick the Kid loose, but soon discovered that the Kid was especially useful at building and furbishing their headquarters. Kid also managed to save Kral’s life during the second Rikti invasion. Kid tends to leave out the fact that the only reason Kral’s life was in danger was because he had to charge into a cluster of Rikti to pull Kid out.

The Kid is pretty much the team mascot and biggest cheerleader. In return for his loyalty, the other Bone Snappers help keep him safe from the Circle of Thorns’ revenge.

Kid Bang is a Corrupter, Sonics/therm, on Champion.

Hit 50 teaming with my best friend, as is normal. Pretty sure I owe him like 20 of my levels Nothing dramatic, but it was a fun mission to hit fifty on. Maltas killed me twice during it. Yey for being a squishy

Already rolled a Widow and will likely play my Scrapper a lot more. I'm a red side addict, but would like to get a little more hero experience.

Just short of 24 months, I finally got my first fifty! YEY!!

Purchased and applied. Can't wait to get home and play with this!

Yeah, a TF would be great! Hopefully I can find something tonight (red side, Champion server).

It was a lot of fun!! Sorry about getting the team wiped when everyone tried to help get my corpse back from those damn Longbows Even worse, when I got shot dead after the hospital run, but at least that time I could rez and limp to the elevator

True enough! Took me this long to get to 49, it might be months before I ding 50 Hopefully not!!

True enough, they just happened to be the ones I was looking at yesterday.

Just yesterday I noticed in my souvenir list I had Lord Recluse and Statesman's helmets. It truly would be great to be able to display those in our base. I think this comes up for discussion often, but it's definitely my biggest wish for CoX!

Finally dinged 49 with my corr last night! Only took 23 months ::wince::
