Not as close as you'd like.. but with AM/Kin backup, u can get near perma again using it... a couple of SBs/AMs and I think you get perma again while it lasts.

EM works the same way as most Melee attacks.. a simple cycle power, run in, jump over.. BOOM. Power still fires off and you're nowhere near the target.. useful in alot of situations.

I think he was referring to Focus from claws primary which is a ranged attack Just shows how much some people know..

Regarding the case you mentioned, I once dueled Gatling's teambuild in test server Arena, and after the match he said : "I didnt know that Energy has a ranged stun." To which I replied: "It doesnt"

I'm not aware that it boosts that... as it doesn't have a secondary affect.. just a primary "+regeneration"

I'm up for this if there is room.. my stalker has grant invis as well as fly.. and his EM works well enough without hide, so I can generally compensate a lil..

(Scrappering a NRG Melee Blaster, with -RES Ranged Attacks is well fun, they never know what hit them. )

OK, i'm posting on here as my second Corruptor took over a month to get from 44 to 45 and he's taken almost the same amount of time to make barely a handful of bars towards 46.

So, why is that and what am I looking for?

The simple reason is a complete lack of teams around that level. Whenever I log on there are a few people who are 48-49 pushing for 50 but almost no one around the 45-47 bracket or people low level alting and getting a team has been like getting blood from a stone. Alting is fun and i've been enjoying re-visiting some of the earlier levels but it's just a distraction and stopping me from doing what I really should be, getting my 4th lvl 50.

In short, I want my Corruptor at 50 within two weeks as I have an Empath I have to get to 50 ASAP over on CoH. So, if there are any other's out there in a similar situation who want to run hell for leather to 50, stick a post here with your global so we can try and get a shortlist of who is actually on and playing in the graveyard that Grandville has become.

Possibly but tell that to the Tuatha Orange boss I 1-shotted in Croatoa with Aim/BU/PB+Shout ... I think he woulda said the same.. if he had chance :P

I think tbh, from seeing it in action and playing it, Ice/NRG is a monster for Slows and DMG.. but when it comes down to it.. why slow it.. when u can remove the base RES that keeps it alive.. and then drop it, making it wonder "what the hell happened"

Btw, the one bad point i'd say about Sonic, is the long animation times. Movement is essential, especially for a sonic blaster in PvP.
