I got the Clockstopper badge for defeating it just the other night when I did the TF. Don't know if you need to be on the TF team to get it though.

He still gives the badge, regardless of spawning reason, last time I checked, and whupped it's butt.
TF Babbage does give the badge, but you don't have to kill him to finish TF.

Aye, I realise you don't have to kick him in but it there are a few people playing whom haven't ever fought a GM. They're one of the more impressive part of the game and I'd like them to experience this first hand

tell ya what, I'll just park the Controller in Skyway near usual mission spawn points, so he's there ready.

My possé and I have been leisurely doing the Synapse TF and we're roughly 2 missions left to complete it. However, in between those last two missions there is Babbage ... there are only 5 of us (2x Warshades, 1x Tanker, 1x Blaster and a Rad/Psy Defender) and we're all around 19th level.
I am pretty sure Babbage is going to kick us in and the majority of my party have never actually fought a GM before.
I'm just putting you on notice that if anyone wants to help kick in the GM, get in touch with me at either "Asgard Nova" (which is WS alt) or @Sed.
