For some reason, Ukase, your idea had me wanting to see if Nixon, or some variation thereof, was available. I'd roll him up as a Necro, Mercs, or Thugs MM. If Necro, the two Knights could be Woodward an' Bernstien. Obviously I'm using the Watchmen's timeline of him. If using the real-life version, Woodward an' Bernstien'd make less sense, but that's no reason not to use 'em.

Either way, the battle-cry should be pretty obvious. His trademark line'd be even more hilarious whilst using him to rob a bank. <roll's eyes & laughs>

The 'Will' entries made me wonder if the name 'Will Punch 4 Food' (or Money) is available. Got me to thinking Punch is applicable to a lot of sets, but it could easily be replaced with...

MA > Kick / Boot
Archery > Poke / Shoot
AR / DP > Shoot / Make Famous (second one inspired by American Valor)
Sonic > Shout / Scream
Fire > Burn / BAD
etc.
etc.
etc.

I won't be on for a bit, so I can't check them anytime soon, but thought I'd throw those out there.

Anyhoo.. on topic. Right.

I took Girl on Fire, my fire / fire blaster from 20 to 32, and rolled a spine / dark scrapper and took him to 20 in one sitting, with a Positron 1 and a Rikti invasion thrown in there, too. My Fire / Thermal troller got dusted off for two or three levels, getting her to 39, so now she has Melt Armour and the slots it needs.

The fire / fire is the first time I've picked up a true nuke, all other blast sets I've played either are DP, AR, or have yet to hit 32 / 38. The animation for Inferno is a little bit of a letdown - not enough fire. Other than that it's a bla- um... very fun to use. >.>

The spine / dark's a departure for me, never liked the banana doom look, and though I knew it was customizable I'd never found a concept I liked. However, I'd had a scrapper / brute idea I'd been kicking around, a sharkman, which I wanted to use claw-type weapons and be able to stealth. He was the first Praetorian I rolled, but Hatchet's arc killed my interest in him DED. At first he was a claw / energy brute, but I rolled that as another concept I'd had. So spine / dark suddenly made sense to me last night as I was kicking around the costume maker in a rather bored fashion...

I was told the combo's a lawnmower, and man, were they right. I said at lvl 3 that the issue at that point wouldn't be getting me to play it, but to get me to stop. Some hours later, I logged off only because I'd faceplant on my keyboard if I kept going.

I know I did more, but frankly there's too much to recall, and I've slept since then. All in all, a very fun weekend, immensely enjoyable, lot's of laughs (especially on Team Sexy with Girl on Fire - they know who they are <grin>), lot's of xp, new friends, and lotsa dead ****'s who were in the worst place at the worst time.

The one who needs to apolagize is me, since I was the one who quit. Frustration from a lot of deaths, and having a tactic changed in midswing, plus hunger are not an excuse. I could say I tried to be reasonable before quitting, that a dead debuffer (which I was) can't debuff, but those don't matter either.

All that matters is that I'm sorry it went down the crapper, and it was my fault. I also plan on keeping it to a one time occurence, too. Hope to team with Crab again at some point, as well.

Heh, it might've had something to do with the fact that we were having fun talking in character as cowboys. In combat, even.

Oh, and as soon as there's a need for a posse to go wrangle some Romans and their Fascist advisors, I can bring KingSlayer. The two impromptu MSR's ran last night got him from 33 to 36 and then some. So, yay! Better late than never.

Looking back on that, I really have to wonder what I was thinking in suggesting we try for the Realm after the fight we'd just finished. I wasn't alone in that regard, but still. Learned another lesson that night, the hard way, as usual!

PS Btw, I had company waiting to give me a ride to a weekly get together, and he'd been waiting since halfway through the Winter Lord. So when I say, what was I thinking, I really mean it. Anyways, he was getting impatient, so when it became obvious we couldn't finish the LoW, it was kind of a relief, in an odd way.
