I've added this event to my calendar and my website!
THANKS FOR HOSTING!
Man this looks fun!
I wonder if I can get a gun show routine down with Dead

Saturday's are my weekly gaming group's day to meet, but I'll stay home and be late just for this. I'm really excited, as with GR it seems Atlas Costume Contests disapeared completely, and I really miss them. GR gave me hope that I could finally participate in non-Pocket D CC's with my Villians, so it was a let-down when they vanished. So thank you for bringing them back!
One quick question - I'm assuming that a time-traveling vampire cowboy occultist would probably fall under the ghoul category?
And I agree with Dead West - in the tradition of Jaws, I think I'm going to need a better routine... So I'll be working on it, but I'm assuming we won't have a target for our attack routines? If not, we could adjourn to the RWZ Base and use the test dummies there...
Anyways, can't wait for this, and thanks again for running this event!

Have a toon but wondering if my status as a sg leader will impede my involvement.
Sounds like a great event. and Bullet Rain, Hail of bullets aoe do require a target to activate. I double check that on TGK. So we would have to drag targets to you all for both DP and AR's

Well, I got my entrant of choice to Rogue alignment, but the move is getting behind schedule, so right now I can only cross my fingers and hope that I'll be there.
I hate moving.
Although, my modem is it's own phone. So if I have to, I'll see if a friend of mine will let me set up my computer at his place for an hour or so...
Either way, hope to see everyone there!

Sorry guys, those of you who are planning to bring villains will need to go all the way to hero for this. The judging will be inside the SG base, and Rogues can't access hero bases. They still count as villains for base purposes.
Pocket D, Rikti War Zone, or even Cimerora on the bridge to Rommies... lots of choices.
@Tax E - RIP CoH 2012
Part of the reason for holding it in the base is to avoid the griefers that tend to show up to disrupt contests in Atlas, but it may be worth moving it to somewhere more accessible but out of the way so more can attend. The other reason for the base is to use a stage that's been set up for this.
Cimerora would be limited to those who are 35+ and have run the midnighter arc, but Pocket D or RWZ could work. Any of the less popular zones could be used as well to cut down, if not eliminate any griefing. RWZ does have the advantage of the combat dummies to allow people to show off their powers. The arena could be used as well, like PERC did for their recent contest, but I'm not very familiar with how Arena works.

LOL... sounds like my life schedule... what? wait!,,, I need to be where, when and why is that?.... Good Luck and Have Fun ALL!...
We'll be out for the evening catching some football and some cocktails...!
The original plan of holding the Halloween Contest in the base did not take into account that Rogues and Villains would be unable to enter a Hero base, so we moved it to the basement in City Hall in Atlas Park.
We had 7 contestants, 3 observers, and 4 judges for The Sisterhood Halloween Event.

Sisterhood thanks all that participated and spent their precious time designing costumes and developing routines for the contest.
It's a shame I missed this. I got the dates confused.. I remember glancing at LB's MotD and seeing a Sisterhood event planned for the 31st.. I realize now I got the events mixed up.. oh well..
Still, I find it interesting that Double Feature won... good thing I didn't show up, Universal Kid might have made it a tie.

I didn't mean to be a judge, I just showed up to see the fun, and lead people into the base.
That's too bad Mystic, you've always got good costumes.
Yeah, when I saw Double Feature I had to check the global name to see that it wasn't you.
Mystic has some of the best ideas for costumes and biographies on the server, as does Yeti.
We will be holding another "themed" CC around Christmas so start developing those ideas!
WTG Liberty? Ahhhh boo.
