  1. Wow, wish I wasn't distracted, and I could have told you as well. Currently, no, no cross faction pacts. If it WAS then I wouldn't have the question, since I would assume, since you can have a hero-villain pact, it wouldn't break.

    So, yes. There is NO Hero-Villain pacting, why I was wondering. I have some characters me and a friend pacted on, and some may switch sides. If, however, pacts will have a chance of being broken, I guess we'll have to hit 50, pacted, before even worrying about switching sides when it happens...

  2. Okay I was reading about the APPs and PPPs and then I got thinking... What happens if you and a friend want to switch sides with a levelpacted duo? What if one hero/villain switches 'sides' earlier? Will the pact be broken? What if the other switched as well, just later?

    Would there be a buffer point? A day? A week? Will you stay pacted despite the side? It's confusing and was wondering other people's feelings on the matter. (As well as see if I could get official comment on it.)

    Thermal Rad Poll

    I want Thermal Radiation, but not for the healing. I want it for the SHields and the debuffs mainly. I cannot get into Thermal Radiation for a Curroptor knowing the debuffs come so late, in compairison.

  4. Simple, the Default Death Mage from the Circle of Thorns' description exceeds the 300 character limit on the MA, so you have to shorten it, manually, or can't publish it.

  5. Make a Tac Ops. I call it that since people make 'Huntsmen' with a mix of Bane and Wolf. Tac Ops? Full Wolf, never branch to other powers. Take All Leaderships, The Medicine Pool, Fitness and the Mace Mastery Epic. Won't need to worry about slotting any accuracy with that build, rather safe, and good damage with Venom Grenade.

    People think you HAVE to get some Bane/Crab powers, which I say they actually lose a lot by going into it. XD

    Arc ID: 12177
    Faction: Ghosts, Circle of Thorn, Custom

    Difficulty: Very Difficult
    Synopsis: You have to investigate some raising undead. Eventually sealing a horrible power.
    Estimated Time to Play: 1-2 hours

    Notes: Soloable, For level 40-50, One AV at end, one EB otherwise.

    Bugs: Bugged to where a two man level 50 team on Malicious (And Above?) to have final EB spawn as an AV. Bugged where in fourth mission the captive and the objective may spawn in the same area doubling (Or tripling) Spawns.

    Pulled due to bug: Unlockable Minions and Lietenants used for custom group, and patch caused group to have the unlocked minions/Lieutenants to not show up, so mission 4 and 5 is full of bosses.

    Synopsis: You are contacted by a Mysterious Man and then given instructions about how you could kill those that had killed the father of his friend four years ago and caused her great pain. He is targeting the Longbow that were in a raid on the Arachnos Base that had killed her father and other civilians.
    Estimated Time to Play: 45 minutes to one hour, 15 minutes.
    Link to More Details or Feedback: This is a arc that is used to kill someone, so it is a bit darker. Most of it, except the last mission is open to interpretation (Whether you kill or let the other enemies survive.) This mission arc is meant for people 21-29 (Though one mission is 20-27, because of use of a certain AV.)

    At least one story arc for EVERY content, little zone hopping for missions, enriching stories. City of Heroes you have to work for Story arcs(To find them outside of the game as they don't announce it). Because of the story arcs I play CoV much mroe than CoH even thoguh I love playing defenders.

  15. I decided one time that this might be fun! Do a comic with a character I made in CoV and play them though a comic. I will follow story arcs(If I get them) And debut other heroes(if roleplayed with) based on what happens. I will follow the characters of City of Villains, like contacts, but change their dialogue to 'interact' more with my character. I have 8 pages done so far. 4 for a Prologue and 4 for the first contact in Breakout (H.T.). Shall we see where this goes?

    E-Mails, no, but tells can be important for the people who are inviting their friends and teaming. Think if you couldn't send a tell to an online friend you had for a while from a chat room and when you try to send a tell or he tried to send one to you you see something like 'TRIAL ACCOUNT! CANNOT SEND OR RECEIVE TELLS!' That's BS... Bad idea for the tell thing, IMO.

Why not put together purchasable influence/infamy packages at a rate so low it will force the sellers out of business?     Bad idea here, this is making it so the rich can get better stuff in game faster than poor folks like me, or those that have to choose between CoX and Cable, or hell, maybe some food. It's NEVER a good idea to pack money for players that may extra, which is why these spammers are being such a pain.

    Take an Example of MUDs where if you pay x amount of dollars you get x amount of 'credits' which can get you x amount of money for x training (Which IOs basically are) which interrupts game experience, especially for casual players that can't spare the money.

    Oh! And to YOU! I love playing both Villains and heroes for concept reasons, but I know plenty of people who would NEVER play villains because they a) Hate the ATs, b) Hate the zones, or c) Hate the idea of being a villain and not a hero.

    So dispite how far one or the other falls behind I doubt EVERYONE will suddenly stop playing one or the other, especially CoH for CoV.(This a bit surprising to me, because I feel that Villains have better, easier to access SAs... Other than Croatoa's.)

    I know I, for one, will keep playing either as long as they don't totally go backwards. If it remains stagnant I'll still play because... well... I'm happy with how things are now, added issues are just like late birthday gifts. The devs don't know me and don't need to give me these additions because I am happy with the game as-is, but with these free addons(And some payed ones, even) make me squeal with joy.

    I'm pretty sure the Dev have said there won't be side switching, and that's WHY we're getting Power Proliferation. So, I beleive it's a yes, but I don't have a quote to support this.

    Please, if your responding to someone elses post please click on quote so that it doesnt look like your a total lunatic talking to yourself, even though you may really be one.

    I could address your posts in sooo many ways, but as you have so "elequently" stated to others, please do your research before you start filling up the forums with posts that really dont make a whole lotta sense.

    How many power sets did villians get access to that they did not have before? Lets see...Electrical blast, Storm summoning, Earth Control. Okay, 3 sets. How many did Heros get access to that they didnt have before? Plant control, Psi blast, cold domination, thermal radiation...Hmm, lets see. That adds up to 4 sets. So where are you doing your research again? Its not on any game im currently playing.

    Another thing, since when did people in PvP cower at the sight of a Warshade or Peacebringer? I doubt that the Villian Epics will be any better at instilling fear in the typical PvP player. Are you saying that Villian players should not have access to Epic ATs like heroes do? Sounds extremely prejudiced to me.

    I know you had a bad experience getting your butt handed to you in PvP even though you had 3 to 1 odds or something like that, but instead of petitioning to have CoV shut down becuase a certain villian made you look silly in front of your friends in PvP why dont you actually learn how to become a better PvP player instead?

    Poison couldn't be a direct port. They'd need a totally new tier 9. Thermal was easy as a straight port.
