Are we talking about the zones or arena, I thought we were talking about arena 1vs1 Ice/nrg vs Fire/nrg, and you notice very well in the arena if someones gonna snipe you.

and i've taken out your scrapper as well. Easiest scrappers to kill now for my blaster are the sr scrappers. I'm not saying claws are bad, played by a good player they can be better than a bad player playing broadsword for example.

I'm just sick of people saying is has poo range, it doesn't. Erhm you know u can jsut run behind an obsticle or wall when u see someone snipes you.

Sure he can melee me like one hit, im just saying that Ice blaster have better range then fire blasters, therefor a decent ice/nrg will beat a fire/nrg by staying ranged.

lose the slots in power thrust keep it 2 acc put the others in build up for more tohitbuffs. I'd lose SC if its a team build since a lot of balanced team have a kin or something making end drai nfairly useless.

Simple example, a fire/nrg with aidself has very good chances against a ice/nrg without aidself.

you're not going to melee me unless i want to melee you as well. combat jump + hurdle allows me to move fast, with the uber fast animation times i dont need whirlewind. -

Ice doesnt get a Snipe, and if the Fire took Boost Range, then it'd obv have the advantage.

1v1's arent exactly all about DPS, if you can kite and snipe and take some1 down from range then its gunna be a relatively safer option than melee. You only have to win by 1 KO, so a sustained DPS isn't essential IMO.

yes ill out range fire with my ice, since bitter ice blast has better range then blaze. And fire blast= ice bolt and ice blast= nothing that strong in fire. and flares is just gimped. I've got a better ranged chain, i doubt he will get me hit with a snipe a lot of times. -
count blue freezer in on this, 20 mins is way to long. make it 10.

I'm thinking more of having a 1 on 1, and you both get each other down too low health, you manage to die with the enemy at only a sliver of health left, you respawn and you have him as your target (I don't know why it does that), take a spot where he hasn't noticed you straight away, snipe before he can retaliate with any kind of Defiance built up moves.

Whirlwind, FA and Tactics but no stamina... might be running out of end a lot.
I assume you know that Whirlwind no longer prevents rooting, so the only useful PvP purpose I can think of is to perma knockback squishies ( unless it interrupts stalkers ).
Isn't Aid Self on a regen a little bit excessive?
I would expect resilience might be better for PvP than revive, as the extra disorient protection may come in handy against energy melee types.

3 EndRdX in Tactics and 3TH_Buff in Tactics.
3 EndRdX and 3TH_Buff in FA.
Aid Self on a regen isn't excessive cos a 3rechg Reconstruction stills takes a bit but with a 3 rechg 3 heal Aid Self in spare will come in handy.
1EndRdx in attacks.
Revive might be better cos of I7 hosps now.
But Resilience sounds good!

yeah homer, trust me aid self is a NO NO on a regen. He has dull pain and instant heal as well to keep him alive. And Intergration. -
it's a respected 50 build, not that i have a level 50 ice/energy tanker lol.

Yeah Thrusty is building one, we'll have a go once his 50. Fire lacks ranged damage. Blaze is too close and fire blast= Ice bolt. And you can forget about the snipe in a one on one.

Doubt a fire/energy would beat a ice/energy, i could easily outrang him, no need to go to melee with him.

That's his playstyle dude, he plays hit and run. Fact of the matter energy melee does the highest damage output out of hide, hence if you want to stand and scrap you won't be in hide, so energy melee is the best choice.
Claws isn't bad at PvP, it has great soft control in the form of knocback, with shockwave and focus, I could keep a squishy perma floored. Its a great squishy killer, and the recharge times are very fast on claws. The bad part is it has low burst damage, and the damage type is lessly resisted, which gives it a problem in the high end of PvP where all the squishies have shields.

all the squishies have knockback protection. And i think Vigiliant is fairly good claws/Sr and so is your friends synathethix claws scrapper. They just tickle. -

You don't see many because everyone's levelling them now, you can find shedloads of Ice/* tankers around and a good percentage of them are energy meleers.
Just look at this forum: 6 out of the first 11 posts are about Ice tankers, 3 of wich are about Ice/Nrg tankers...

yes it does -
actually the earth hold is the worst. It has no effect on targets above aground, therefor you need the -fly in pvp if someone has protection against holds :P.
