    Call for Models

The Girls of the Phoenix Force in Icon's sexy and styling Harem Wear for 2005.

That's right, The Beauitful Blue Skinned Oksah, Mystic Terra Skye, and The Amazing Miss Danger show of the latest wear that has everyone talking.

These women can be found in the Virtue server fighting crime and looking good doing so.

You know, I'd just like to get a feel of all the cities heros, past and present. Any hero who has a statue out should probably get an issue, who has a part of the city named after them, who trains, or gives out task forces. For a hero that has died, I'd like to see how they died.

I think it would also be interesting to see the final moments of hero 1 and the rest of the crew.

I think in issue 9 or something, and this is just a hunch, Omega Team will reappear. Or at least their bodies will...but what, or who, is in their minds? It's a classic hook, it has to be used.
  3. LM or anyone else.

Are there numbers for how high a mag resistance Clear Mind grants? I've been curious about this for a while, and at least for PVP events it might be nice to know.
  4. Announcer: Coming this fall, on the WB.

You've laughed! -image of Coyote being dragged out after getting a swirlie

You've cried! -image of CWK with a mullet-

You've trembled in the fear of the worst villiany Paragon City has to offer -image of Dr. V and CWK, arms crossed, towering above a camera at foot level-

But what can make even these titans of evil shake? -image of a superimposed Thorn foot stomping the two-

-camera pans out to a Thron (devouring earth giant monster) scrapeing something off its feet. He speaks in a voice eerily similar to Richard Dryfus-

T: Kro, eww, I stepped in it.

-Kronos Titan comes on camera, looking at the mess. voice eerily similar to Bender-

K: Aw man, that's digusting. Ah well. -cracks open a barrel of oil and chugs it like a beer-

Announcer: From the producers of Archvillians, comes a new face of tyranty and evilness.

MONSTERS! Coming soon, to the WB.
  5. Oksah - "Um, hello there. First, a question for the lady of the group, where could I get a mask like that? And the corset? I am, er, just curious. That is all.

Second, Mr. Clockwork King, er, your Majisty, just what is your obsession with donuts? I, um, just heard a rumor that you have a bit of a passion for them.

Third, and this is for everyone, if there was a rampaging shapeshifter who wanted to try and intergrain himself into your group, what would be the best way to prevent that. Again just curious, that is all."

    Boss Changes

    [ QUOTE ]
Well take one of the Boss-able AT's with you then because the overwhelming number of bosses will tear you a new one.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Fire/fire tank
    Elec/elect blaster
    Ill/rad controller
    MA/SR scrapper
    emp/dark def
    me, emp/rad for SS II

But that's just the thing, a team of people are supposed to be able to take out bosses. These are all characters we've had since day 1 (Well, those 5 were in beta, I started a bit late). As such, we each know how to work as a team, know what works and what doesn't.

"A lot of those are broken/FotM builds/boss soloable builds" True. With them I'm not concerned with my SS TF. Don't know the peeps on the other two missions, those will be a challenge.

As to my soloing, it's definatly a change when I see a boss now. Would I mind if they rolled back the changes some? Not really, it does take a while on a boss. Can I live with the changes, adept my soloing style and carry a different range of insps.

    Quick update:

I've been discussing things with various team members and I've got an "official" meeting today to kick around some ideas about this issue. With luck, I'll post later today - otherwise early next week.

    [/ QUOTE ]

That's cool, I was going to be playing with your competitor's product until you decide to make this game playable for me again anyway.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Thanks for the update Jack. And in response to the above person, I'll be renewing my subscription this weekend (it expires) and be playing with other people in game on the various team missions (RSKED to a Sister Psyche II TF, then Numina, then a Sewer Trial) as well as running an in game rp event.

And, I might solo my 38 emp/rad defender in the downtime as well. Man, it's fun with these new bosses solo. I swear my hands were shaking when I took down a warhulk solo earlier this week, as it was extremly close battle, up and down, up and down. It's been fun having to change my statagies in missions rather then run in and AoE away like I used to be able to.

Anyways States, thanks for keeping us informed, and if you're ever on Virtue, send Oksah a tell.

    The Kudos Thread

Thank you Dev team, support staff, Q&A, testers, artists, hell, janitors even for unlocking the collective creativity of a server full of people (Virtue, sorry, it's my one experience), for giving us a rich palete of background, abilities, and locations to create amazing stories and make amazingly strong friendships, IC and OOC.

But doesn't that happen in the majority of missions?

    [/ QUOTE ]
What I have noticed is that boss spawns are reduced. My blaster (23) had a missions with 2 +1 bosses that I could not solo. Period. I even tried levelling up and hitting it at 24. Nope. Died every time.

Tried it on test after the boss changes went in, and instead of 2 bosses, there were 2 lts. In this case, soloing has become _easier_ for all but a few missions.

It also appears to me that street spawn bosses are much more infrequent, with more spawns with large groups of minions.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Good to know, I'll see if this holds true as well later this evening. I mean, I kind of like being surprized like that rather than have the devs tell me every minute little change they made.

It also leaves us in the hitherto unusual position of needing to get help *during* a mission, since we have no way of knowing beforehand whether or not there's going to be a boss in there. That will be awkward in timed missions.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Actually, if a boss will appear in a mission, the mission briefing mentions it. Check the text.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Absolutely WRONG. I have had many, many, many missions that just had "rescue x", "recover x equipment", etc. as objectives. That objective is achieved, but the mission does not end. It then turns out that the mission has an undocumented "kill all" requirement. There is typically at least one boss on the map, resulting in a surprise un-soloable mission. Bosses are frequently in missions when they are (supposedley) not part of the explicit completion requirement. I am rather disappointe you are unaware of this.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Well, maybe some of how the missions are handled changed to reflect that as well.

Just because things occured in the past does not mean they'll work the same in the future, which could go either way.
